  • Dylan is being such a mommas boy today. I love that so much however I wish he would hang out with his dad for just an hour so I can just sit quietly by myself and pin all the things to my boards.

I think if everyone mails their packages within a reasonable timeframe, nobody is going to feel left out or forgotten. We all know that some people's may take longer due to the distance. My person is going to get ALL THE THINGS!
If someone doesn't get a package in let's say 3 weeks, let me know!
That sounds fair, I figure it will take 3 weeks for mine to arrive - 2 weeks till I shop (sorry but it will be worth it!) then a week in transit...

  • Slept over at my mom's last night so DH could host my brother's bachelor party.

She wouldn't let me throw LO's diapers out at her house! She wrapped them all up and gave them to me to bring home...ahahaha what the fuck. I should sign her up for the contraband exchange and you guys can all send her your shitty diapers. Unbelievable.

Wtaf. Can she not put them in the outside trash so she doesn't have to smell them??
  • Dear RTT,

What should I cook for dinner?

Chicken tacos with avocado and corn. BAM.
That sounds delicious. You sold me! Now off to find a recipe.

Edit: In case anyone was curious, I've decided on this recipe: https://allrecipes.com/recipe/chicken-tacos/ Definitely not using the lemonade though... bleh.

DD is down, hopefully for the night. DH is still sleeping (works nights, night off, sleeping in). I don't care that it's only quarter after 7, I'm going to sleep too.

    ETA: happy birthday @michaelad3‌!

We may eat Indian food a third night in a row. Tried to get tapas yesterday but it was a 21 and up establishment. So we got Indian again. I've had the saag and masala now. I still need some vindaloo. So, if you can cook Indian food, you should.
I can't. I'm not a great cook to begin with, and attempting to cook something I've never eaten before would probably be disastrous! I hear it's all spicy though, and I can't stand spicy foods. But if there's something that isn't, I'd be open to trying it!

There weren't even any poopy diapers! She's so weird sometimes. Not worth arguing with her over it...trust me, I have to choose my battles. Our fights are week-long epic arguments.

    Also, BFP update:

HEY MORNING SICKNESS! You can go shave your back now. FIL made a tuna fish sandwich with smoked tuna and I barfed up all the crackers and soda.

That's right...crackers and soda. Back there.

Still don't have a due date and won't until next Monday at the earliest when we're back home (hubster went back home today but I still am having a grand old time at hubster's folks' house) but I'm already feeling the shitty bite-my-ass heartburn in my xyphoid process and the gnawing blahness in my tummy.

    YAY BABY NUMBER TWOOOOO!

ETA: Still can't decide if I'm going to join another BMB or not. If I did it'd only be to troll. Shiiiiit I might even create a new avatar...

Lol quoted it, then read @avidkeo‌ response and she said what I thought already! So never mind.... Kegels.
    New name or no?

  • Im about to see the Dr. Ive had numbness in my feet since the spinal, and 4 months is long enough to wait before doing something about it. Its not major, just annoying more than anything but still, just in case its worth seeing someone about it.

Wait, did I already post about this or is it deja vu? is that a black cat in the corner?

  • This 2 hr scream fest before bed is getting old quick. Nothing we do soothed him I've tried every combination of everything bf, bath, bed- bath bf bed, bottle bath bed, bath bottle bed. Moving bedtime up moving it back no naps during the afternoons more naps during the afternoon.

    My baby is broken.

Good news is I don't know any 18 yr old boys that scream instead of sleeping 8->

Merriwether was broken from Wednesday through Friday. It'll get better. Good luck in the mean time. Just keep in mind it's because they're learning so freaking much!!

  • We had a whole week of horrid sleep plus screaming red face for several hours instead of going to sleep.  Last night he broke the pattern and slept 9pm to 5am, and it dawned on me we were possibly in a leap week.  Here's hoping he sleeps well tonight.

Mommy is having a glass of wine and catching up on Outlander.  Gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed in the show, but can't. stop. watching. as I have no time to actually do what I want and just reread the book again.

What's the limit on yours? Kiddo is 17 lbs and over 26 inches. Not sure what the next seat would be
  • You guys are making me want to try Dylan's 9 mo footed pjs on him. It'll suck if he can fit them because it's still hot as balls and will be for at least 2 more months and he basically won't get to wear them ever
  • We had to switch because his legs were curling up, the others were so short. His onesies will still fit for a week or two and his pants should be fine for at least that time or more. Funny, I thought I drained my glass but I just noticed a huge sip left in the glass, and I got irrationally happy :). Wiiiiiiiine. Sorry exchange buddy but our local wine is shitty. You will get lots of fun things in about two weeks, once i can go uptown to our local shops.

35 pounds OR 30 inches. She was 26 1/2 at 2 months...I'm gonna take a tape measure to her tomorrow. We've been on the last/highest/longest rung for two weeks now.

I think your lil one wins the string bean of the year award. My kiddo has fat thighs like his daddy.

At two months she was BEYOND the percentile charts. She dropped from 95 to 60 percent in weight though. She's finally chunking up again.

I don't know what to do. I've been be sharing with LO on occasion and the past few days because he's been sick. now I can't get him back in his crib. He cried so hard he looked like he might have broken blood vessels on his face. Even brining him back to my bed didn't comfort him. I love the snuggles but I had no intention of full time bed sharing. I don't know what to do
It won't last forever. Maybe he's still feeling icky/has the dregs of feeling icky and wants mama's comfort?

  • @aronie82‌ can you room share? For awhile we had dd's pnp pulled to the side of my bed so she would see me when she woke up. Now she's on the other side of the room. (When I stop being lazy she's going back to her crib.)
