Is it too early for alcohol? I hate weaning from the swaddle. I made it 4 days before caving. Now I feel terrible! Ughhhhhh

After HORRIBLE sleep for the past week, G finally slept last night! Today I have to clean because my BFF is coming to visit tomorrow! She is staying with me for 10 days.

I don't know what else to do for this kid. He's been up since 3 and it's almost 5. He's been fed, changed, unswaddled, in bed with us, my arms, DHs arms, rocked, etc. he's currently on his tummy in his bed next to me- crying. Hoping he either wears himself out in there or lets me put him back in bed with me and actually calms down.

I hate when he gets like this. He does it on the regular.

So this morning Liam woke up and started whining. Instead of waking up, I just started shushing him (still asleep, obviously). It must've worked because he went back to sleep and didn't wake up until like 7:30 when sister came in and woke us up. Maybe I should try that from now on

I have no clue what this sleep regression is. I've never heard or experienced anything like anyone is talking about. Maybe it'll hit full force any day now but she sleeps 9pm to 6am, eats, then goes back down and sleeps until 8am. What's wrong with my baby?

Maybe you got lucky. DS used to do the same thing but now.. Nope.

Thanks for all the bday love!! My older two went through the 4 month sleep regression but I really haven't seen it in Logan.

No clue either. Also have never swaddled, and she sleeps where ever I put her. Sometimes she barks like a dog in her sleep? DD1 will never be a good sleeper so she's a whole different story, every nights a bad night for her. I feel like DD2 is making up for DD1 being such a miserable baby and toddler.

Owen decided to be wide-eyed and chatty at 5AM, so we've been up and playing. He finally fell back to sleep just in time for DS1 to get up for the day. More coffee.

I bought it at the gap outlet over the summer-err... Maybe in May? DS was still a crabass. Now the hat fits but the nickname doesn't. :-)

Ditto. Dd's "regression" was waking up once. This one is waking up every 2 hrs. Things could always be worse- at least he goes back to sleep and at least his naps are still good for the sitter and ILs.

DD went from sleeping 9-7, to sleeping 7-3, 3:30-5:30, and then in and out till she is up for real at 6:30,7ish. We did a bunch of stuff at once: transitioning out of the swaddle, to an earlier bedtime, and to putting down awake but drowzy. Hopefully she'll adjust to it soon! I shouldn't complain cuz it's pretty decent but I miss not having those MOTN feedings

I don't even know what's going on.

DD nursed fine this morning and twice since. Wanted both sides but then seemed content. Didn't fully nurse before her nap because she fell asleep. Woke up half hr later, screaming. Knees up, eyes closed screaming. Had a couple farts and DH managed to calm her down.
But she was acting like she was starving. So I tried to nurse her. Nope! Freaking out, pulling off, desperately latching back on, pulling back off, screaming.
Defrosted a bottle. Nope. Refused it. I smelled it and it smelled off. Freaked out that my whole stash was probably horrible and made her a 4 oz formula bottle (one of those Enfamil yellow tube things). She sucked the whole thing down, burped, and is now playing on her mat and farting.
So now I'm at a loss. The freezer milk was a newer one (just grabbed in a rush), could it just be one bad bag? Did I randomly develop a lipase issue? How do I check all my freezer stash?
WHY IS THIS HAPPENING NOW!?! The freaking weekend before I go back to work full-time

I think all my frozen milk smells a little off after heating it, so hopefully it was just a fluke that she refused to take it.
