I don't post much but I can send some Cleveland whiskey if I'm allowed to participate. ;;) There's a local chocolate company that makes fudge sauce that I've mailed on more that one occasion. I could also send some crippling depression and pierogies.

Miss you all! its so hard keeping up!

I finally got LO some sleep sacks to sleep in and she rewarded us by sleeping 9 hrs straight last night! woo hoo! Hopefully not just a coincidence! 

And I have just booked flights to visit my mum, shes a 14hr drive away but the flight is 3hrs (with one transfer). I cant wait!

He will be totally fine! But I had the same freak out when DD was itsy...and now I travel with a PNP sheet!

Two hotels did this to me last weekend. One found crib sheets when I called to ask. The other, apparently the nighttime workers didn't know? So I wiped down the vinyl mattress and she slept just on that. I'm not sure which is the worse of two evils? Make sure to talk to the front desk about it in the AM, ask to speak to a manager if need be, and maybe they'll be nice and comp something.

Same night as you excepted no dog ate my food but DH did elbow DS in the head right as he was falling asleep.

So, I just went on the computer (since I'm usually a mobile bumper) and just wanted to change my username from elyse4281 to elyse42. Now everything is gone? Does it not recognize that I'm the same person? I'm so confused.

DD has been really fussy and unhappy tonight. I finally got her to fall asleep while nursing, and now I have a tickle in my throat, and I'm fighting so hard not to cough and wake her up!

Ahaha, I know that life. Whenever I nurse DS to sleep during the day I always have to do this slow, silent ninja roll off the bed so that he doesn't wake up.

I wish my neighbor would spay/neuter her 40 cats. Last year DH caught 11! They have since remultipled. I'm not sure I can handle aggressive cats and two kids trying to take them all to the shelter. Why must you have do many cats?!?!

My MIL is really judgey about nursing in public without a cover, I've expressed my disagreement.  Whenever I eat at my in-laws (with the whole family)I go to another room because I don't even feel comfortable nursing with a cover.) Mostly because they aren't easy going about it. I have a lot of anxiety about nursing in public because of this. I know this is California, but I still don't think people are as laid back as in Eugene and Portland Oregon.

I will probably have to nurse in the car at the restaurant after my son's baptism.

DH and I finally going kayaking tomorrow!! We were going to bring DS, but DH doesn't want to now our friends are going to watch him, which is fine, but I was really excited to take A out on a kayak for the first time. DH has never kayaked, so I think that's why he's nervous. Oh well.

Hi ladies! I've been MIA for 2 weeks because I've been SUPER busy moving. It's now done and we are settling in to our new HOME! Still a bunch to unpack and some cleaning to do at the apartment but we are pretty much done! Exhausted but loving the new place! Plus, A finally has a nursery!!!! Just a few finishing touches and its done! I will post pics when its finished. So happy to finally be a homeowner!

So I have really old grandparents who still drive though shouldn't. I just saw a news report in their town about an old couple who rolled their car and died, off a road my gparents take often. I saw this in the middle of a motn nursing. Had the put LO down and run to call them. They answered (they're always awake at 3am). I've never been more relieved in my whole life.

There's this woman in my playgroup who doesn't attend much any more but I've known for 2 years now. We used to be friends but she started rubbing me the wrong way a year ago. She just posted the most RIDICULOUS Facebook rant, and I had to respond (it involved a gay principal coming out to his students at a Pride event in DC; this happened back in June). Pretty sure she's going to be mega pissed. OH WELL.

This sleep regression keeps getting worse and worse. We went from waking up once overnight to twice to now every 2 hours. At least he goes back to sleep.
And he's one of the early April babies so figured we'd be seeing some light at the end of this tunnel by now. :-(

Oh well. It won't last forever. At least I hope he won't be waking up at 12/2/4 for a Big Mac when he's 18.....

And some shitty little fucker hit my car while DH had it parked downtown for work. Didn't even leave a note. Nothing major but still enough that they probably would've noticed.

Which led to a debate between me and dd, over whether "shitty little fucker" is a bad word. She insisted it was not, and I told her it was. "Mommy, fucker's not a bad word!" Which caused me to release the Mommy Kracken on her. I think now she knows better.

That is awful! I hit someone's car in a parking lot once (yea...stupid) and I left all my info on her windshield. I don't know why a person wouldn't unless they were a shitty little fucker. But almost everyone I told about this was like, "why would you leave your information? You could have just drove away!" I guess I know a lot of shitty little fuckers.

I use iTunes Radio on the spa channel thanks to @purespark‌ when I pump. Well we didn't bring any sound making devices to the inlaws even though dd calms down with them.

Totally just turned on the spa channel and she passed right out! Even sleep deprived I'm smarter than I look! :>

I'd suggest the trap neuter idea over animal control which would just euthanize them. Aside from the fact that that is just sad, you'd end up pissing off a crazy cat lady neighbor.

What a weird night for dreams. It was probably me in the alley with MF. You'll have to forgive me, on my end you look like a gummy bear, and that s***s tasty.

I dreamt it was the end of the world, I lived in a huge house with too many doors and Robin Williams was my dad. We had been shopping for aquarium fish and gone to the beach because Obama told us it was safe. when the sky filled with planes. And most of the locks on our house were made of plastic, though I'm thinking the kamikaze planes didn't care about my locks.
