Wow. I was driving down this road today and I noticed that nobody put out the crosses for the veterans and wondered why that was. It hit me later. ITS LABOR DAY. Not Memorial Day. Wtf, this mommy brain is fo realz. I don't even have sleep regression to blame it on.

I'm a little (lot) frustrated with MIL. She  has been here since Friday night. I was hoping she'd offer a little help, but she has slept in each morning and then takes a 2 hour nap.

I fucking hate when my bf's sister calls Dylan "cocoa puff". I love me and Dylan's chocolate skin but I'm only ok with chocolate references for me, not my child.

No we do not need to get "my baby can read" for Dylan. Surely there's a way to teach a baby to read without sticking them in front of the tv. Go away

After being a literacy tutor in inner city Chicago, that shit's a huge pet peeve of mine. Memorization =\= comprehension

EXACTLY!!! I fucking hate "my baby can read" just because he sees the word "kick" on a card and kicks does NOT mean he can read!!!

@Vinny424‌ I'd be upset too. My cousin watched DS at my house for me one day and I can home to it kinda cleaned and the pantry rearranged. My cousin thought she was being helpful but it rubbed me the wrong way. My cousin is a little different though, so she would have probably thought it was awesome if the tides were turned. I just had to keep reminding myself of that....lol.

@MrsW26‌ love titting out of sympathy over the mom thing. My mom LOVES to rearrange my house when she comes to visit. She also loves to say things like, "you know what you SHOULD do?" And then proceed to tell me about something that I'm doing that would be much better her way. Argh! X(

Wait. After he peed in a closet, he got drunk again? I gotta be honest, i'm floored. Had it even been 24 hours since the first time? I would be absolutely livid.

Yeah, idk what his deal is. He drinks slowly.. Not like pounding them like a frat boy or anything but I guess since he hasn't had anything in a few months it hit him a little too hard. I admit I am pissed off right now. I'm going to have a talk with him about it tomorrow.

DH once tried to walk through the window twice because he thought it was the bathroom.  That was pre-baby though.  Now he confines his extreme drunken shenanigans to when he is TDY.
