So, each class at the Air Force Academy gets a saying that they chant/yell probably a billion times burning basic. And then later, just less often. I was class of '06 and the Haymen fire was burning during our basic training. We were also a red class (red, gold, blue, and silver rotate). That was our's. '06. Feel The Fire!
Page 2006 rando thing over.
I graduated in 2006 too! Our class song was "Photograph" by Nickelback. I am ashamed.

LO has a stuffy nose and cough. Poor kid. I keep thinking he's going to choke to death in his sleep, which is (probably) irrational.
We have red and white Fiestaware and an OCD DH. He wanted the dishes stacked in alternating colors. I said if he wants them stacked that way then he can do the dishes. Apparently, it didn't matter THAT much.
Mmmmm chili dogs. God I've been eating like shit this week. Not really sorry. These dogs are too good to regret.
I'm with you on eating like shit today. Open house night at school and I was starving. I walk into the staff center and see the PTO had set out 5 bins of snacks for us teachers. I wrecked about 2 bags of chips and 2 bags of cookies in mere minutes. That on top of working my way through the bag of kit kats a friend gave to me.

@RedDawnsRevenge I had no idea lol...I just figured that it'd be a cute way to follow their theme and interesting to expand my (very minimal) sewing repertoire.
Carlene fell asleep on her blanket on the floor of the living room. Our vicious fleabag was trying to get out of my way as I walked through the room and he backed up and sat down...on her face!
I was nice enough to call him off before I started laughing, so I'm only kind of a bad mom.
When I put my fiesta ware away, I don't like same colors to be touching.

My heart broke for DD today. First, she fell at the splash pad and scratched her entire face. She was bleeding every where so I cleaned her up, changed her into dry clothes and let her play at the regular park. Then there were two little boys playing that were so mean to her. One of them pushed and KICKED her! They had to of been the same age so it's not like he didn't know better. Then their moms did nothing. Absolutely nothing! I was livid.
Then when we were in the car she says "mommy, they didn't like me.." What am I supposed to say to that? I felt horrible for her. I know stuff like that is going to happen but it's still sad when it happens to your kid.
So sorry that happened to your sweet girl. Since I'm a FTM and haven't been through something like that yet, I don't know quite what I would say either, but I guess it would be something about how awesome she is, and just to ignore people who don't know that about her and treat her ugly. I hope she brushes it off and feels better soon!
Well she's already over it. Me.. I still want to kick that little fucker.
---------------- Yeah the urge to kick the little bitch would be high. And if the mom said anything you could be all 'oh I didn't think you'd mind since you didn't say dick when your kid was doing it to my kid'.
I'm going to be a really mature parent
My mom was that mother. She beat up this boy's mom and her best friend because he gave me a black eye and his mom tried to justify it. I was 11
My boobs can do math. Had my first day back at college tonight - that's a trip after 7 years - and the baby ate 5.5 oz for my hubby. Which is exactly what I pumped out when I got home. Well done, boobs. :-B

I've bumped from the computer a couple of times and am always surprised by all the extra crap you can see (siggies and what have you). Then I realize that people actually bump from computers on the reg. Seems kinda antiquated to me for some reason.
I moved here to Hell in 2007. On thanksgiving. DH was on crutches after is accident, and on convalescent leave from the AF. We had dinner at the vets hall, as we didn't have money for food. It was a great dinner, some day I'd like to go cook at the vets hall and reciprocate.
Ok this party in the middle of the night for 3 nights is old now. I can't function with under 5 hours of sleep a night and be a good parent to DS1. Ready for G to be over this cold.
I love my bf's sister to pieces but if this bitch blames me for anything else that Dylan experiences because he's EBF I might kick her in throat! No, that skin thing he has is NOT a result of something I ate today! I get enough of that from your brother when the baby has gas so just shut the fuck up. Maybe instead of making assumptions you should ask what it is instead of being quick to blame me

TP to her. Babies get weird crap wither EBF or EFF or mixed feedings!

EXACTLY!!! You'd think someone with THREE children would grasp that by now
2:30 party time in this house. I found DD laying on her back in the crib playing with her feet. And now she doesn't want to go back to sleep, because feet are the coolest.
@AcaAwkward my husband just gave DS 3 pieces of potty chocolate to avoid a temper tantrum even though he didn't pee pee. Can our husbands blend into one balanced discipliner?
Oh man, we really do need to squish them together to form a Super Middle-of-the-Road Dad! ...DH doesn't think it's good to "reward with food...won't she be just as excited about a sticker?" No, no she will not. M&Ms ARE HER LIFE.
I've been thinking about going back to work when we move, mainly for my own sanity and to have adult time. However looking at daycares online stresses me out and I give up.
Also FFTC, mentally I'm over bf now. In my ideal world I would stop. However I feel overwhelmed at the idea of bottles again. Also I'm worried that my easy weight loss will end. When I found out I was pregnant with DS1 I was 207 pounds. Now 3 years and 2 kids later, I am 161. I'm worried when I stop bf I'll gain the weight back. So I keep on breastfeeding.
So, I graduated high school in '11. Kinda embarrassing.
With all the problems we've had since DS's shots, we had to ditch the swaddle because it was hurting his stomach. He was in the zipadee zip last night and was up Every. Two. Hours. Ugh! It was the first night without the swaddle in months. The plus is that he didn't scratch the hell out of his face, so I guess there's that. I hope tonight is better. Ladies who went from swaddled to unswaddled tell me it gets better, I don't care if you lie.
H is going skydiving for the first time ever for a bachelor party this afternoon, 4.5 hrs away. I'm so antsy right now, and may even throw up before it's all said and done. It's not even me jumping out of the damn plane!
DH is getting pinned with his promotion today!! I'm so excited for him, but also a little sad that I'm missing the promotion ceremony. I have never gotten to go to one, he's always either deployed or at training when he gets promoted.
Taking care of 2 kids is completely kicking my ass. I don't know how you moms with 3-10 kids are doing it. By the time I read a few things on TB someone is crying/whining/screaming about something so off I go.
Graduated HS in 2008, BBA in 2012. My sister graduated HS in 1998 and got her bachelors in 2003. We both have daughters, hers is 11 months older than mine. She also has a son, and he's 4. They're both my godchildren, and since they're a military family, if (God forbid) anything happens to my sister and BIL, I magically have a family of 5, since I'm in their will as guardian. That scares me a little!
Travelling is so much more complicated now. We're zipping down to the beach for two days, used to be all we'd have to do was hitch up the trailer and toss a bag or two in. Now? Oh-em-gee. For such a tiny person babies have a remarkable amount of stuff!

With the possible exception of the equator, everything begins somewhere. - C.S.Lewis
@celticlullaby he'd get along great with my DD1 who wore her UGG boots on our walk this morning when it was 97.
