@honeyzoo how is this even physically possible?! I pump 4 oz after LO sttn and I'm all Woot Woot! Give me all the high-fives! Hon, look how amazing I am! Mom-star indeed.
I'm also jealous of the pregnant thread, but we're done. :-(
We're under flash flood warnings all day. I love a good rainy day, but I wish I could stay at home and cuddle my kidlets instead of being at work. Meh.

Is someone on here pregnant again? I don't get the envy. I do want another kid but I want my body back more. Diff'rent strokes I guess...
I don't experience a smoking craving anymore. SO vapes now, which I think is helping me. And plus I still remember all too well nearly puking my guts out anytime I went near someone who was smoking in my first tri. (Really, I do NOT get the pregnancy envy!)
@PoppySeedWindsor Glad you had a refreshing night and that you are seeking some help. Big hugs to you, you got this!
Re pregnancy envy: I'm happy to be working on getting my body back and I'm content with 3 kiddos at the moment....but I also can't wait to do it all over again in a few years.
~Missed MC at 8 weeks. D&C at 12 weeks on 4/17/13~
Yes someone on A14 is pregnant again. I do have a twinge of jealousy as well. Although, I had a tough pregnancy and a colicky baby, so knowing my luck that would happen again.
My asthma prevents me from smoking anything. I tried cigarettes a few times and I felt like my lungs were on fire. I sometimes crave them though because the smell is comforting (my mom smokes).
Thunder! I have heard a few rolls of thunder this morning. Apparently is coming down from the mountains to say hello. Wish it would have brought some rain. I love hiking in the thunder. There's nothing quiet like a lightening and thunder storm at 12k feet or higher. How crazy would people think I was if I baby wore both kids and went hiking?
Liam is wearing my favorite 0-3 month outfit today. I have put the rest away but I kept this one out of storage. Wasn't ready to let it go. Probably the last time he will ever wear it because it's getting a little too snug. Stop growing kid!!! (
It's kind of crazy how different brands have drastically different sizes. W is still in 0-3 Circo but 6-9 in Gap Baby. Carter's she's either 3 or 6 months, depending on the sub-brand. Weeeird and annoying.
Drake wears mostly 3 months From Carter's he can wear the 6 and 9 I feel like Carter's doesn't make everything the same I find baby gap s stuff really big he is still in 0-3 months from there and old navy
The watering nazi is out in full force. I'm glad I didn't trim my front yard tree this winter. I am one of the few people with a lawn, and it's thanks to the shade.
If someone asked me if I d like to be preg right now I don't think I can say no fast enough I love my son and my little family but I was not a glowing pregnant woman who just loves being pregnant
It will take awhile if ever to convince me to get preg again
@RedDawnsRevenge I wouldn't think you were crazy for wearing both kids, but I wouldn't go hiking in a lightning storm. The only people I know who have been struck by lightning got hit while hiking (or running in the mountains) during a storm. All 3 were in CO during the summer thunder season. Maybe I'm just overly cautious about it though. We had to attend safety briefings every summer in college mostly about lightning and learn the lightning crouch for in case we got caught out.
Got stuck on top of Mineral King once at Eagle Lake in a lightening storm. We were crouching under the damn for a while. Lightening striking all around us. I got it on video. Epic. In Yosemite/SNP/KNP the rule is to seek shelter if closer than 30sec apart.
The Child Development Center on base does hourly care. I got the paperwork filled out and turned in Monday, talked to them about him getting his 4 month shots, my child in my arms. Today I go to call to schedule drop-in care because I really need a break next week with DH being gone, and all of a sudden they only do hourly care for 12 months or older! WTF!

What the hell. Can you call the manager and complain? Even if they don't do it, it's wrong they have employees giving the incorrect info. Ask around to see if there is anyone to watch him just for a few hours if you can!
I can't imagine having my DH gone. It's hard enough with him here, on my own? No way.
I also told him someone was pregnant and he was like oh helllllll no. My feelings exactly husband, my feelings exactly...
I don't understand these people that have all these yummy lunches with luscious sandwiches and such It's one o'clock now and I'm just now having my oatmeal concoction I would love to be having kale salads or turkey clubs mid day
On the subject of DH's being awesome, I'd like to AW mine for a minute. I've been having trouble lately keeping everything together between work, baby, the house, and I finally sat down with DH and told him how I was feeling like I wasn't me anymore, and how I really felt like I was sacrificing the lion's share. He's really stepped up since, and has been super helpful and awesome.
Plus, Aiden stopped STTN when he got sick, so no one is getting great sleep right now. I woke up this morning thinking that he had finally STTN again, and DH said no, he woke up (never happens!) and tried to get Aiden to go back to sleep with a paci, and it worked! Most alive I've felt in weeks!
@jodibolivar Congrats! Glad that your DH got the job.
@PoppySeedWindsor I'm glad you enjoyed your night off. Motherhood is hard and sometimes we just need a break. Hopefully talking to your doctor will help too. You are a great mom!
Dr appt this morning for what I thought was an ear infection. Instead of going home with meds I went home with a bunch of literature on sleep habits and a lecture on why I need to try a "modified" Ferber method tonight. I know she's waking up and not going back to sleep because she can't soothe herself but I just can't bring myself to do it.
I will note that our normal dr is on vacation so this was another dr in that practice. This makes me even more torn on what to do.
@mamrotu73 You could try using a cake pan with parchment paper around the outside and underneath. Should make it so the pan releases the cheesecake without destroying it. I do that with brownies sometimes so I don't screw up my really nice nonstick pans. I'd just cut a circle to put underneath the cake, and then wrap a rectangle around the sides. You might want to leave some tabs on the circle that extend above the pan sides though - you can use those to pull the cheesecake out.
Can I get some of that A14 job juju? I can't keep working this job. I'm spending too much time in the car, DH is overwhelmed by the amount of solo baby care he has to do after work, and my house is in shambles. I need something closer to home that doesn't have crappy hours. The hunt is on.

If I don't care if it looks nice on my plate though, I could just make it like cheesecake pie though?
I'm not sure I have parchment paper. Unless freezer paper is the same thing. I have that for making stencils...
Baking dishes I own: Pyrex pie pan and casserole/brownie dishes, loaf pans, cookie sheets.
I bet cheesecake pie would work, although you might need to keep a closer eye on it for baking times. Bonus: If it falls apart when trying to eat it, you'll just have to eat the parts that fall apart. Translation: All the cheesecake for you!

@Xxlilies I too am just now sitting down to eat pretzels for breakfast/ lunch. I'd love a fancy sandwich. Or a burger. Yeah, definitely a burger.
