I've turned into a huge Flip or Flop fan, it's one of my favorite shows right now.

These kids of mine keep throwing the screen door open and then let is slam behind them. I leave it open so I can keep an eye on them playing and sit by DD (who apparently sleeps WAY better on the couch during the day than her PNP)...but if it slams shut one more fucking time. I'm going to lose my shit.

I had my 6 wk appt yesterday and tr doc said everything was back to normal. Can I just say how effing awesome it is that we can squeeze out an 8lb10oz person and have our elastic utes and vajs be back to normal

Wine slushies for only $6?!? Im in love!!! The kiddos and I had a lovely lunch (wine slushie) date with a friend who's a kids' librarian. My ds loves her and was sooo excited to get her own library card! She fell asleep with it at naptime.

I love when dd starts waking up. Fuss fuss fuss, big man fart, back to sleep. Repeat about ten times. Silly girl.

Attempting to avoid going to my grandmas this weekend while still seein family=impossible. Grandma and aunts all smoke so I told my mom I wouldn't bring dd there, well it's just awful because I want my grandma to be able to see her, but my mom won't clean her smoke free house and my family won't drive out to my house because I'm an hour away. So the most likely compromise? Meet at my aunts bar. Great place for babies. When will it be nice enough for a cookout so I don't have to deal with smokey houses! And the next problem will be getting them to wash their hands/use a receiving blanket on their clothes when they're holding her. I feel like such an asshole blatantly exposing my child to third hand smoke but I can't just not see my family.

So over mommy wars. Yes I "gave up" on Breastfeeding. It was either that or continue to resent my child and want to throw her out a window every night. Yes I "took the easy way out". I'm still pumping because I feel so guilty she isn't getting bm. And I've been crying every day about it.

I honestly thought I had friends who would be there for me, not lecture me on my choices. And now I'm Sitting here lonely and crying. I think I'm going to have to cut ties with this friend.

Bragging moment: I feel like a pro, just did a seamless transition from pacifier to boob because I knew her sleeping without eating first was a trick. As soon as she pushed the pacifier out BAM boob was in, no fussing in between. Gonna be bedtime soon! Way too excited about that

So LO was grunting like crazy last night so I took her to the couch. I ended up laying on my back with her laying on my belly nursing.

Completely hands free and no back strain! I like side laying but this was even more comfortable. Anyone else use this position?

@nicole mackenzie‌ we started doing something similar just yesterday!! I was just reclined in the chair all the way and used a pillow on my lap so Penny wouldn't slide down. Was pretty comfortable actually.
