damnit I forgot to put on deodorant and we have a cornhole tournament at work today...anyone have a solution other than me running to the store?

Crisis averted, my work BFFL came over and did a smell check, turns out I definitely needed to go to the store, so now I have a backup deodorant in my office drawer
@tiffletons518, I totally forgot about your stress fracture. Find another half (for a few months from now) asap and sign up for it!
@tttwalters That's my new plan. There's one in August I found that's a wine one. You get wine after and the medal looks like a bottle topper. I'll probably do that one. Wanna do it with me? It's only like a 5 hour trek for you. Ha.
DD2 is laying on the couch next to me, she's contemplating a nap. DS is currently napping. I pray she falls asleep even though I know it means she will fight me to go to bed. H has been working stupid hours, and the idea of having even 30 minutes of peace and quiet sounds ahhhhmazing.
Ugh, E has an infected hangnail. How the heck does one keep that clean and dry?! I'm nervous he's going to need to take antibiotics because his fingers are always in his mouth. Yuck.
Calling the nurse later but any tips and tricks appreciated!
I would just keep layering it with Vaseline to try to keep the germs out.
My LO bit a button off the t.v. remote I had to fish it out of his mouth. He looked like he was chewing gum. So scary just a heads up!
When Aiden was little we had to bring him to urgent care on a Saturday for an ear infection. As I was looking up the address I realized our escape key on the laptop was gone. We looked and looked and couldn't find it. When we went for the appointment the doctor said 'any other questions?' DH and I kind of looked at each other and I was all "Sooo...he maayyy have eaten the escape key from our laptop." Cue quizzical look. She said to just watch for it to come out and if we never saw it, be mindful if he stopped eating or whatever. We never saw it again.

I had a similar moment when I realized the rubber nub off the doorstop was gone from LO's room. We haven't had any issues with eating or BMs, so for now I'm chalking it up to cat-sabotage.
My LO is fascinated by the door stop. He is batting at them and ripping them off the walls every chance he gets. I am constantly on high alert to make sure it's not in his mouth.
Oh.My.Word. The girls are fighting because "she touched my arm and I didn't want her to" and "but I just wanted to be close to her" which has resulted in DD2 crying. DS is crying because God forbid I'm more than a foot away and not holding him. I have no idea when H will be home and bedtime is nowhere in sight. I'm out of wine and it's cold and rainy, plus I don't want to take these maniacs out. I may not survive the night you guise.
I finally went to give a deposit for daycare for DD. We hung out there for a while, DD just loved sitting and watching the kids play. I got a really great vibe and as I was leaving a mother picking up her kid says to me very passionately "you will not regret sending your kid here". I can't believe only 2 more months at home with DD. Going back to work is going to be so bittersweet.
I was about to start rocking Grayson to sleep when I saw this. I threw him in his crib and ran down stairs to record it hope I caught some of him. Now back to rocking.
@Sympkin how are the sippy cup trials going? The past couple of days DD has taken some real sips from her straw cup, still provably not even 1oz. She recently discovered that she can hand things to me, so today she only wanted me to drink from it. Cute and frustrating all in one.
@melOHdy, oh no! That's is awful. I just had a dream this week that LO knocked one of my front teeth out (yes he's pretty rough). In the dream the dentist put a implant in my gums but my body rejected it and I had to get dentures!!!!
Most weekends I spend as much time with KJ as I can but I told DH that I needed some "me time" this weekend. On Sunday I am going to get a massage, taking myself to lunch and going to the movies by myself to see Divergent.
@kelly422 or anyone who knows Alex is definitely having an allergic reaction around his mouth. Is there anything I am supposed to do other than not feed him that again?

I don't know if this is UO but I really don't get the point of these inappropriate cartoons. Cartoons should be for children!! I just walked in and my son had put Sanjay and Craig on and the guy was shitting rainbows... Literally. The rainbow shits were propelling him into the air. Who the hell comes up with this??
::switches to Bubble Guppies::
I can't stand watching Cartoon Network because of this. If there aren't cartoons on nick jr then we don't watch cartoons!
We are back in the country and reunited with N! She gave us a huge smile when she saw us, which relieved some mommy fear that shed either forgotten us or would be holding a grudge for us leaving her.
Also, long drive tomorrow so I'll be catching up on everything then.
DH was watching The Hangover 2 and I got on a Bradley Cooper spiral. It led me to this site because yum. And then I realized that I think Cameron Diaz actually was doing it for me more than Bradley lol
Grayson is asleep already, SO is in the shower, and I've already gotten everything cleaned up for the night. I'm getting in bed with my kindle until SO gets out of the shower and then we're watching American hustle. Great Friday night
This talk about disney wants me to aw ds1. we just went to Florida to visit my parents (who winter there) and we went to disney. Here is he at Tusker's house character dining.

Already up twice since 7:30. Both times the only thing that would calm him down was nursing.
