@HoneyB1993 definitely take her in to the ER if your instinct says to, but just to reassure you it's most likely fine. G had crazy high temps like that for 3 days around 9 months with teething and absolutely nothing was wrong. It always got to like 104.8 and went back down. It was scary but babies can spike some really high temps. Trust your instinct if you need to go to the hosp though and hang in there!
@riansmommie, I'm jealous y'all have fun. Since having LO I avoid sex like the plague and if I drank any of that I would not be able to function the next day! Besides the wine I can handle that.
J ate most of what i gave him for lunch today. (he swallowed instead of storing it all in his cheeks) His chair and the floor hardly had any food on them! Woohoo! Maybe hes finally getting the hang of it!
Can I add.... I HATE when he gags. Geez louise its scary.
Yay!! M did too!! Although we went out for lunch and the waitress fed him A LOT. It was kinda weird.
@Steamboat1679 mine is "tomorrow morning before work." Because, you know, he totally wakes up early to help out around the house and is a great morning person. (Need sarcasm font). Plus he uses like the largest possible plate or utensil for his post dinner snacks which drives me nuts because of how much more sink and dishwasher space it uses. Like he used a full dinner plate for half a brownie last night.
I will tell my DH to call yours. He is responsible for putting dishes away so he avoids using them. Sometimes he will take a piece if chicken or brownie or whatever and eat it standing over the sink.
Random Canada vs. US thought. I can't believe you still sign for credit card purchases in the US. Chip & pin all the way (we insert the card and enter a PIN number like for a debit card). Do you guys at least have the thing where you can just tap the card for a small purchase?

Some retailers don't make you sign for small purchases (under $25 generally, though it varies) - so you just have to swipe your card and that's it. The tapping card thing never really caught on here.
Aaanndd I just check the paint DH gave me to use- after I finished. He have me freaking Matte paint. This isn't trim paint! Asshole.
DH bought glossy paint to paint over a patch in our hallway. Obviously our hallway is matte. Apparently the guy at the paint store told him to get glossy when DH didn't know what finish to get. So for now we have this weird spot on the wall. Sigh. So I can totally empathize.
And I almost forgot to add ( and this was the whole reason I got on here in the first place) ...
I'm super bummed that I've had to start wearing a sleep bra again. LO keeps tweaking my other nipple when he nurses at night and it is surprising how much it annoys me. Or not surprising, he's really rough! Sleep bra might not be as comfy, but it prevents me having to hold his other little roaming hand so I can remain more half-asleep.
I'm sad. I had a half marathon that I had wanted to do this Sunday. But, then various versions of the plague hit my house and I haven't run in over a month. Well, I've run once. And, of course the weather is supposed to be PERFECT for it Sunday too. Boo.
@steamboat1679 Do you mean just go for a run that day or sign up anyway and just not try and PR? I fully intend on going for a run that day and I've seriously considered doing it anyway and just walking some of it. But, I'm afraid that I won't make it. Lol.

what is your energy levels like right now? Back to pre sickness?
There are 116 new entries on this thread since I was last able to check in and then I feel like a tool commenting on shit that is sooooo 12 hours ago lol So, it's not that I don't care but I wonder if my feels are still relevant
Roxanne (the song by the Police) made me cry on my way to work this morning. My dad was the silliest, goofiest guy and when we were little (too little to understand WTF that song was about lol) my dad would sing it so loud and so exaggerated and me and my brother would crack up. My issues with my mom are real and I have anger about the way she treats me so I choose not to have a relationship with her (she'd have one with me if I let her). With my dad, he just has apathy and that makes me so sad because we don't have an issue - he just doesn't care. I miss him and I hate that my kids don't know him because he was so great with kids always and I know they'd think he was awesome if he could pull his head out of his alcoholic ass and realize what he's missing. /violins
Hugs @elmoali I'm so sorry. It's great you have happy memories of your dad but terrible he can't be there for you and your kids now. I hope he does pull his head out before it's too late.

Yah. I'm actually feeling pretty good. I have worked out every day this week with one rest day, and it felt great. I keep having this battle with myself in my head, "You could just run a few, walk one, run a few, walk one." "Yah, but it's THIRTEEN miles" "But, you know how adrenaline pumps during a race" "Yah, but it's THIRTEEN miles." haha. I'm just afraid I'll get to like mile 8 or 9 and want to hurl myself into the lake :P

That is how I felt about my first half and full marathon. If it is going to be a nice day out, I would say do it. You can run at one time the distance you run in a week. You will hate yourself the next day, but I think you might be more upset if you don't do it. At least your next half will be better!

Well, my H is being the voice of reason here. His response when I told him I was considering it, "Don't be an idiot. Do you not remember the stress fracture from November where you couldn't walk for a week and couldn't run for 2 1/2 months? Really want to do that to yourself again right as it's getting nice out?" I hate when he's right.
@subliminalrabbit My dad is your mom in that situation. They divorced when I was like 22 (I think?) and he started treating me like an adult friend rather than his kid. I think, when our parents' marriages dissipate we just revert back to wanting to crawl into our parents beds and cuddling.

You put in your zip code. Terribly secure, I know.

My heart hurts for you @honeyb1993. I can't imagine having to take LO to the ER. Hope she gets all better soon.
Glad to hear she's at least feeling somewhat better. Poor little thing.
ETA: sorry that you're having to go through this. Good thoughts heading your way that she gets well soon.
Nothing wrong, just flexing the lungs for the past 15 min
