So I've been reading "The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding" in an attempt to prepare. I sobbed at the part where they described what my partner could do to help. DH was talking to the baby last night and she would move every time he said something. I was really nervous he wouldn't be the emotional type and now I can't wait to see him with our LO....

So tired today--can't seem to get out of bed. Today is a low movement day for LO too, so it seems we are both exhausted.

But now I'm facing the conundrum: stay in bed or force myself out of it so that this Ben and Jerry's craving gets taken care of??

Why is it that when DH puts DD down for a nap, she doesn't get up once but when I do, she insists on getting up several times. Go to sleep child, I need some peace. Mommy is cranky!

I just wanted to give you hope that it could be nothing major, cause the thought of needing gall bladder surgery is scary.

I am SO lucky not to have any, thanks mom and dad! However my DH more than makes up for it in his student loans and he's still in school. Luckily he gets Army TA now so we aren't adding to the loans, but I still hate them.

My motivation went out the window, and now I am really reaching for something to put on my to do list that I have already done so I can cross something off. Somehow I feel like "nap" is not going to look accomplished... But "shower" is!

Augh, DH's step grandma is dying her body is shutting down and it's just a matter of time. All of her immediate family lives in BFE 3 hours from us in the country, hours away from a hospital. I feel horrible, but I'm just not comfortable traveling that far for the funeral. By the time arrangements are made I'll be 36 weeks. I feel like a bad person.

Most other people I would say go, but with your history this pregnancy it's probably a better idea to stay home.

So...my best friend called today to inform me that she, her husband, her four year old, and her two year old are coming to stay with us for five days at the end of the month! We are going to be packing and showing our house so it has to be clean and perfect ALL THE TIME. And it have no guest rooms so they'll all be staying in our living room! I don't get it, they won't even see the baby it makes no sense. Of course I love her to death and want to see her but that's a lot to deal with at 36 weeks pregnant! I really don't understand why she would want to drive 14 hours to camp out on my couch with two little kids either.

I am a little anti guests all the time but this seems crazy to me. Do yall have the type of relationship where you just drop in on each other? If not this seems crazy imposing and would piss me off.

No! She lives 14 hours away! I keep expecting her to call back and tell me she's just joking. I adore her kids but they have a lot of energy and I'm always cranky, and her husband is a truck driving, deer hunting, Jesus loving, gun toting, conservative Obama hating republican and I am the exact opposite of all of those things and I just cannot handle how pushy he is about what a hippie I am and why I don't eat meat. I'm worried that he's just not going to give me a break unless I put on some camo and stuff a dead animal in my mouth. I can deal with her but I'm stressed about the rest of them!
