For us its that I can't finish so it makes DH feel guilty that he is the only one to get full satisfaction out of it. Doesn't matter how much I tell him I don't care and that I miss the closeness,  he can't bring himself to not feel the guilt.

I agree 100%.  I started prilosec on Friday and it is life changing.  No more reflux and I can sleep again.  It's magical.

Is heartburn and reflux different? I know I have heartburn. The weird thing is I have it when I lay down and I have small burps. If I sit up I can seriously burp like a man and it goes away.

@thomas930 uggghhh I feel your pain - same issue for us. But SO doesn't feel guilty, it's more that he can't help but feel insufficient even though we both know it's just a super fun pregnancy set back... Either way, it sucks not having that bonding time anymore. I miss it!

@Mamamonzo Heartburn and acid reflux are both caused by acid splashing up into the esophagus.  I know that people with heartburn feel the chest pain and those with acid reflux feel the burning acid in their throats.  I've never had the chest pain with reflux but maybe some people feel both?  The same medications are used to treat reflux and heartburn and I have learned that different medications treat these conditions in different ways.  The one that seems to work best for people is prilosec or omeprazole, which is a proton pump inhibitor.

Decided to start compiling a list of ingredients for freezer meals to start up next week. I just hate the idea of grocery shopping and putting them together but I know I'll love myself for it later. Yay, me. 

I just feel like we'll get sick of eating slow cooker food but I'm sure it'll be better than eating take out every day or cereal that first week or two.

DH came home with the best news tonight.  Earlier this week we did our taxes and were shocked that instead of getting a nice size refund, we have to pay that much money IN to the govt.  Cue financial stress at trying to figure out how to pay for our tax bill.  Well, DH just found out he is receiving a bonus at work tomorrow that will cover our tax bill.  I'm just floored and so incredibly grateful. It definitely has lifted the grumpy funk that has been hanging over me this week.

I have the same thing! Ill be laying down and feel this almost trickle feeling and start freaking out. Ive checked and its not fluid or pee so my guess is its super fun, and not at all disgusting discharge just flowing freely from my vagina. Midwife also said this is really common. Awesome!

I tried to follow seannamom on IG to see if there were any gcisms, but she blocked me. She does have 4 emoticons on her profile page though. I thought it was strange that she posted that her due date changed by week to April 1, but she had posted previously that her dd was April 4. My OB won't even think about changing a dd unless you are measuring off by more than 3 weeks.

This happened to someone I knew, though she didn't have fertility issues so I'm not sure if it was her bad or just a contraceptive failure. Her daughters were born less than a year apart.

Well there are other ways that he can make sure that you finish? DH usually goes oral or toy if he finishes first. I don't complain.

Instead of double-posting, I'll just say this here: I tried some bushwhacking of the Amazon between my legs tonight... holy fuck, is that hard!  I'm not sure I've huffed and puffed so much this entire pregnancy, and despite using a mirror I have no idea if it's anywhere even close to shaped or symmetrical.  Guess when my OB does the GBS swab on the 21st and it grew in patchy, I'll understand if she starts laughing. :P

Maybe, but I'm really timid about anyone other than DH or necessary doctors seeing my twat, lol.  Plus, I've never had that area waxed, and I don't want to wind up stuck to the ceiling like Garfield if it hurts too much. ^_^;;

So weirdest thing...I got a text message from my ex-boyfriend from before I met DH today. We did not break up amicably and he proceeded to spend a great amount of time drunk dialing me at 3am during the beginning of mine and hub's relationship. Needless to say my husband loathes this man and would probably punch him on site if he saw him. However I haven't heard from him in well over a year. Today I get a text message saying "Hi Meg, It's Patrick, this is little Leah Michelle" with a picture of his 3 month old baby followed by "Callback # 708*******".

Seriously dude? WTF? First off, we are both married now and it has been 6+ years since we dated, why would you think it would be okay to randomly send me a picture of your kid and secondly, why include your phone number? What? You want me to call you back so we can reminisce? Uh, fuck no. You were a dick then, you cheated on me, called me at all hours of the night for months when you knew I was living with someone and now you want to trade kid pics and catch up? FUCK YOUR SELF.

Whoa.  My half-sister posted a status on her FB praising our dad and saying that he's the most loving, giving person she's ever known.  I'm wondering if she's stoned or something, because my memories of him are nowhere near that realm.  I grew up fucking terrified of him, and the day my mom told me she had filed for divorce from him was one of the happiest days of my life.  *insert Twilight Zone theme music here*

It's always the crapbags... I had an ex who was verbally/emotionally abusive to me (called me names, made threats of physical harm, you name it) that would seriously try to contact me every damn time he was single. It's like... Are you kidding me? Fuck no I'm not interested. I'm never going to be interested. Thankfully I haven't heard anything from him since the last time I shut his ass down (right when I started dating DH).
