Although it's a coincidence that Seannasmommy shows up around the same time as Glynncoco, I don't think it's her either. There better be a reveal at some point though!

It's not brains or how to work an AE, it's the sense of humor behind it. It's someone who's teasing A14 regulars, poking fun at the crazies of the bump, but not mean spirited at all - there's no shit-stirring or real drama. I seriously doubt it's anyone with a grudge. It doesn't feel like seanasmommy to me, she seems too earnest. I'd totally believe it's MF, or a regular in this thread. I just really want her to reveal eventually - I think the whole prank is pretty hilarious.

I always just thought it was so random person....but the theory that it's a "super regular"-- I totally would buy into. Whoever has the patience to change fonts colors... and come up with that nonsense definitely deserves a hats off. OR maybe she is real

Side note: I made Creamy Spinach Artichoke Chicken Pasta...umm yum. It was basically like eating spinach artichoke dip...but since there was chicken I could use a fork and it was a meal:) and now onto chocolate ice cream and crushed thin mints...

hmmm, so far we have MF as a posibility, Wysbaby, man I missed most of that!!! how long ago was all that! who else are contenders? I agree, she bugs the hell out of me, but not because I'm mostly trying to figure out who the heck it is while laughing at her and the responses she gets and how innocent she acts!

Oh and just need to share, because its the RTT, I tried inhaling my coffee this morning, promptly coughing it back up into the cup and all over my shirt. I didn't bother changing shirts (it didn't show) and now all I can smell is coffee. Its 2pm, so another 2 hrs before I go home, and I'm starting to really hate the smell of coffee.

You just described my shower. I have exactly 7 friends coming, and about 30-35 of my mom's old friends and co-workers coming. (She retired over 10 years ago...so there's that.) I haven't met most of them. She's footing the bill, so I mean, whatever. Ever since my husband and I moved into this house and reno'd it, she's insisted on making excuses to have her friends see the house. (You should have Bill and Jan and I over for lunch next week! Okay mom.) I think this is her way of getting the remaining suckers in here.

Oh well! Smile and nod and accept all the lovely free things...that's what I'll be doing.

Ps - My theory isn't that it's a Southern thing...it's a bored old lady thing in this case. Good times

At least your mom and Jessie's MIL are the ones throwing the shower. My mom had the nerve to request that my sisters take some relatives off the guest list because she's currently not speaking to them. Mind you, my mom has absolutely NOTHING to do with the planning of my shower. Not once has she even thought to offer my sisters any kind of a helping hand in the planning. She seriously felt like it was ok to insist that my sisters accommodate her wishes and her words were "I don't care that it's not my shower, it's my daughter's shower and I shouldn't feel uncomfortable because I'm around people I'm not speaking to". Just typing this is making me super stabby! Oh and get this, she had the fucking nerve to ask my sisters to put her friend and daughters on the guest list in place of the three relatives she asked be removed. Aaannd now I'm pissed all over again. Sorry. I guess the point I was trying to make was; just look pretty and attend the showers that your mothers forget aren't for them *drops mic*

Shitty deal. I hope she comes around, and that your sisters are able to deal with her effectively. Try not to let it stress YOU out though, let them be the ones to handle it! Easier said than done, I know.

It it makes you feel better my mom just started talking to me today after over a WEEK of not answering my calls or emails. The reason? I said people couldn't wear their snowy shoes in my house. She got SUPER PISSED and hadn't spoken to me since...LOL I'm too sober for this shit!

Oh wow! My mom is a drama queen like that too. Sorry for calling your mother a drama queen. It's sad but I have to be honest; I love my mother very much but I do not like her. People don't understand that but it makes perfect sense.

Apparently he told her that whatever happened between us 'surely' must have been a one-off situation (no) and that he thought she'd 'be fine without therapy'. Her way of saying 'I'm not the problem, you are, see? A doctor said so.' Sigh! What can you do. I love my mom, but I sure learn a lot about how not to be with my child.

I'll throw my hat into the guessing game! I don't have anyone who I specifically think is PsyCoco, but my opinion on her has finally changed. I thought for a long time that she could be a really, really, misguided person, but I'm crap at picking out MUD anyway because I'm naive and always give people the benefit of the doubt. But the incessant sexual themes of her threads over time finally made me think she's going for a reaction, which would = AE.

I don't think it's MF because I know that chickie isn't that bored. And I picture the real GC being a person with nothing better to do than to paint fonts rainbow colors. I tried once, just to make fun, and that took ALL THE TIME!!! Either "she" is an obsessive compulsive, or has the patience of a saint.

ETA: But I'm with @dani+california. Can't stand the chick.

EVENING RUINED

i ran to the store to grab the shells to make taco salad bowls and the stupid store i went to didn't have the stupid shells. i almost cried right there.
all i wanted was those stupid shells.
so instead i bought fried chicken. it's sub-par grocery store fried chicken, but it was $5 for 8 pieces. DH and i both ate 3 for dinner and i also had a scone.
we're so healthy....

I think at this point GC being a real person would be the biggest surprise of all. I'm inclined to think it isn't MamaFantastic though, given that she'd have to be juggling AEing and her Etsy shop while third trimester pregnant. If it is her, that's mad dedication.

I just skim read that stupid UO/FFFC thread (read the first post on every about 5th page), there is only about 5 of the same people posting (OK maybe 10) and all they are talking about is sex, oh and some politics thrown in. Maybe its my lack of sex drive, but it was really boring!

I had hoped for some real drama, but sadly it was more like high school gossiping.

its an hr till I finish work, think I can quietly duck out early???

It just keeps GOING. it's entertaining but I can't see how the same 5 people have been going nonstop for 12 hours. I really want to post something INSANE on there just for shits.

I have to admit at first I thought she was cute/funny and just something to play with. But at this point the level of stupid is too much for me to take and it makes me so incredibly stabby. I know 100% it's my lack of patience and increasing tiredness. Maybe if the questions and comments from her bordered on ridiculous rather than just plain stupid it would still be fun.

I am having more fun watching everyone trying to figure out who it is now! It's a total game of clue!

This! With all the patriotic and political messages, I wanted to say something about how the thread portrays Americans to the outside world (sorry the gun thing really gets to me!), but I knew that would be seriously offensive, and I'm not funny enough to put it in a way that is amusing but pointed. Still, there is still part of me that wants to, just to really stir things up!!

Oh and did you see the RTT got a mention!! apparently at 1000 posts we will be automatically closed!
