This dc weather is such a mess!! But got to leave work early and work on my SIL's shower gift! ( we have a joint shower this weekend). They are moving one month after the baby is born so we got them 3 gift cards for lowes, target and homegoods: a "nursery kit." These are the little rhymes on the cards... I am super dorky but I think they will love it!!!

My "psychic" mother is trying to convince me she knows exactly when kiddo is coming. He wants out early because he wants his Grammy, she says. And "her money" is on the 4th, not the 18th. I told her I wasn't interested in him coming early, and when I told her we knew the dates weren't off (dating ultrasound confirmed within a few days of when we had sex and I was supposed to be ovulating etc) and he's been measuring on track with his due date, she insisted that babies come whenever they feel like it and periods don't matter. Ok, mom.

Then she throws out this doozy: she is sure she had a period while she was pregnant with me, and I was a 44 weeker who weighed 5.5 lbs... Mom, that pretty much all points to you didn't have a period while you were pregnant with me. And you didn't feel me kick you in the first trimester. And my kid is not talking to you in your dreams. Stop it.

My mom makes me so stabby...

DH calls me a garbage disposal. I would be offended, but it's so true. I'm mortified at the amount I'm putting away right now. My past eating disorder is starting to rear it's ugly head and play mind games with me.

@cgoldian - Me too!  And the fact that I'm hoping to move before the baby comes is stressing me out extra because I don't want to start looking HERE and then have to start all over, but I don't want to start looking THERE and somehow "jinx" our closing.  I sure hope my 12 weeks of maternity leave is enough to find a place I like.  

About the "flushable" wipes - I've been told by more than one plumber that flushing ANYTHING other than toilet paper (including wipes, tissues, tampons, etc.) is generally a bad idea.

I will flush tampons until the day I no longer need them. hehe. Otherwise, I'd just wear a pad.

What is GC's due date? I'm around the same number of days, and due on the 13th, so GC must be around the 16/17th??? Unfortunately that puts paid to the idea of it being Seannasmommy whos original date must have been the 7th, but I do like the idea though!

I don't think seannasmommy is GC cause, honestly, (gulp I cant believe I'm saying this) I don't think she is um, smart enough? (ducks for cover). Though I KNOW I'm not smart enough to do that, so its not a diss at all! I think who ever GC is probably belongs in Mensa! And I think seannasmommy is sweetly naive.

Oh, must be you're not my tenant!  I actually wrote into the lease that she is not to flush anything other than toilet paper, and she flushed enough baby wipes and paper towels to clog the main line.  I could've kicked her in the teeth.

@aviola329 - Do it!  There is nothing that makes me sadder during this pregnancy than running out of milk.  I started buying 2 at a time and I've yet to have any of it go bad.

I'm seriously going to punch the next person who comes to my booth and asks me if I'm "almost finished" in the fucking throat. My friend is already 30+ minutes late to meet me for dinner and knowing him, he'll only be able to stay for an hour, tops. Plus, I'm PREGNANT! You sit your non-pregnant ass in a wooden seat: not my problem you got here after me! This booth is allllllll mine muahaha!!!
