Yep, I boil then sautee mine - in bacon fat if I had the presence of mind to start up bacon at the same time. =P~

Not gonna lie, I have a jar in my fridge that was made for and specifically contains bacon fat... On demand goodness for frying whenever I need it

Feeling super bummy today. DS1 starts at a new daycare on Wed, so I took him for a few hours to play this morning and get to know the teachers. I fucking hate it there, and now I'm totally depressed about making the switch. Due to DH's new job, it will save us about 45 min/day in drop off/pick up, which means more time with the kids at home. And it's about $500/month cheaper once we have 2 kids in b/c DH gets a corporate discount. Ugh, I just don't know what to do now

just woke up (again). it's after 10am.  feeling glorious. SOOOO thankful to be working half days now, and since i literally spent an hour working from bed this morning, i really only have to cram in 3 hours later today.  i'm thinking 2-5pm sounds like a good shift, eh?

What don't you like about it?

When I arrived there were already 10 toddlers there and only 1 teacher (legal ratio is 7:1). Another teacher showed up about 45 minutes later and everything was pretty much chaos the entire time I was there with kids standing on tables and  just being out of control. By the time the 2nd teacher got there, they were up to 14 kids (including DS1), so running at the max ratio. It seemed like "freetime" the whole time that we were there, whereas they had told me on our tour that they had a structured curriculum with learning/project times. We take him to an awesome daycare now where everything is very structured and routine with lots of education throughout the day. 

To make the problem worse, when I dropped DS1 off at his regular daycare afterwards, the teacher was sitting at a table with 5 of the kids doing a painting project. All of the kids there are so well behaved and it was a much calmer/more relaxed environment for sure. DH is taking him for a few hours tomorrow morning, so at least I can get his perspective. Maybe i'm just being overly worried.

Well, it's official.  LO is 10.8th percentile for growth, so she has been diagnosed "growth restricted" and I will be induced at 37 weeks.......which is in 9 days!!!  :-SS

I guess I won't be deep cleaning the house, freezer cooking, or finishing the nursery.....yikes!!!

Ok, so I am wayyyyy too tired this am. Was sleeping really really well, then DH woke me up at 4am cause he was wide awake. Stayed awake till 530 (after DH made a midnight snack!) then dozed for about an hr till my alarm went off.

I work on my own in an xray department, do you think anyone will notice if I close the door and crash on the xray table???

@Fireflygirl12 I am convinced that GC is a regular - she appeared not long after all the mean girls stuff, so has to be, and she's well up to date on topics even though she doesn't post often, and she does the things that irritate the most (colours, spelling, grammar). I both love and loathe who ever it is, and if they never reveal I will be very angry.

Just got back from the OB. Ultrasound went well--baby is measuring about 5lbs, 75th percentile, and wiggling around happily. Still breech though, so we had to have the C-section discussion. My doctor is awesome, so I'm feeling pretty good about it, though I'm hoping he'll turn.

My blood pressure is down and I lost another 3lbs (after two appointments in a row of gaining about 5lbs in two weeks). Doctor is happy, baby is happy and I am happy. Bring on the Mardi Gras treats tomorrow!!

I know!! I was just there this weekend, and had planned to run to the store on my way back home, but a neighbor of my parent's stopped by with a shower gift and hung around for an hour.  I'm thankful for the gift, but I really wanted to boot him out so I could run to the bakery and get some good paczkis before leaving town.

My mom's coming to Columbus this weekend though, and she knew I was disappointed I couldn't stop, so she's bringing me a couple when she comes to town. I love my mom - she understands my need for quality gut bombs

HA, as crazy as I think AEs are, I definitely don't think I have the talent to pull it off. I usually bump mobile and there is no way I would remember to sign into the correct account before posting. I already have to reset my password almost every time I get logged out since apparently I can't ever remember it. AEs definitely have some smarts and spare time.

Haha that's me too! Man I wish I was smart enough to  have an AE that bad its good!. Now I want to scope out everyone siggy, see who's due the same day!! but then someone that smart will have chosen a different day....

If you don't like the vampires and stuff, try her series The League.  Same sexy times fun, but with assassins, slaves, thieves, that kind of thing. ^_~*
