My brother ordered something from Amazon and forgot to update his shipping address. His package was shipped to his old apartment and signed for. After some hell raising at the not so close neighbors the boyfriend gave up the package. I told them if they really needed a car seat cover they could keep it...lol. They hadn't opened the package but the box had Britax logos all on the box.

Who are all these folks having babies and heading to the hospital, maybe I just don't frequent the threads they post in. Happy to lend a prayer where needed, just didn't recognize the influx of A14ers recently..

Me too! I've already got stars over the "no no parts". I went with more of an S&M themed shoot, I wanted to really bring out the rough side of pregnancy.

I came home and the breast pump that I ordered was sitting on my counter with the Victorias Secret swim catalog on top. It made me realize how over having boobs I am. There are way too many expectations for them.

I just watched a "Waiting for me" video my parents made in '84. My dad passed away in April 5 years ago...first time I ever watched the video (he made all the home movies onto dvd right before he died and I could never get past the first few minutes). SO crazy to see my parents in the same situation me and DH are now. Laughing, hugging, talking to a pregnant belly...It was really emotional--- so blessed to have it. I haven't been able to watch a video with my dad in it...really hard to hear his voice. SO needless to say, I am a hot mess right now. @kseccomb17 that post about your friend is heartbreaking. Sending thoughts and prayers.

DH just got an awesome new job that he is starting in 2 weeks (great time for a career change, right?) The increase in pay/benefits is awesome, but it's seriously the worst timing for having a new baby. I've already paid a big chunk of my deductible for this year since I made a trip to L&D, so I figured the majority of my bill would be covered. Now I have to pay 100% of my deductible on the new plan before getting coverage for delivery. Plus, my maternity care is all billed at the end, so it will be spilt and I'll end up paying the entire deductible on my old plan. Ugh, FWP.

I don't know what's going on today, but my entire belly is just sore. Sore when I'm sitting, sore when I lie down. Not a great start to my baby shower weekend! My mom is also trying to get me to come back with them on Sunday and spend a week at their house which means a five hour car ride each way. Ugh. I think James is still transverse because not only am I feeling kicks super low (i.e. under the FUPA) but they keep finding his heartbeat below my belly button too. What's the point in being so tall if your son insists on snuggling into the bottom of your ute???

Is anybody else waxing? How far before your due date are you scheduling your final wax? Ideal would be 3-5 days before, but it's nearly impossible to plan for obviously. I'll be bummed if my March wax ends up being the last one if I go into labor early.

even in my daughter's album at home, I've got stickers over her privates. I can't imagine posting a pic to a bunch of people on the internet. Rant: over. :-<

I used to shame my dog for eating anything that fell on the floor while I cook. I guess I will appreciate her Hoover skills more once this baby is here and she sucks up everything that falls off the high chair!

I am so exhausted from grocery shopping! DS wanted a car shopping cart so I got one, and halfway through the front left wheel went crazy and wouldn't turn correctly. The rest of the store I had to manhandle it. I worked up a serious sweat and I'm pretty sure my hands are going to have bruises on them. Stupid car carts

I had a mini panic at work today that I wasn't pregnant and it was all just a dream. And When I looked down I couldn't tell I had a bump because I wear such baggie clothes at the farm. It took like ten minutes for me to reassure myself I really was 34 weeks along.

Fudge. I have gained 6lbs in 2 weeks. Doctor wasnt concerned so I am not, but my overall weight gain is making me sad. Opened my eyes to the fact I really do need to start eating better. Darn.

I think I read this last night and didn't respond, but I might have. That's crazy! What a small world! We went every year to help my grandpa on his farm. And of course we spent a day at the corn palace, went to the dairy queen and the doll museum. That was about it....haha

Just got to have a teaching moment. Called two boys over after hearing them shout "You're a girl!" at each other as an insult. We had a nice little chat about what it means to use gender identifiers as an insult, and what it communicates to girls to hear their gender used as a way to degrade boys. They admitted they didn't think girls were of less worth than boys, and they hadn't thought about it that way before.

@kseccomb17 - EVERY baby is different!! I don't know/remember your story, but don't go into it feeling negatively. My GF just had her 2nd baby 2 weeks ago. With her first, she had zero supply, baby wouldn't latch, tons and tons of issues. She decided her boobs were "defective". The new baby is nursing like a champ and gained over a pound in 10 days! You never know what will happen!!

Ditto this. With my first, I didn't like bfing and stopped after 2 months. With DS, I went 10.5 months! This time I'm shooting for at least a year.
