Called to complain about the high price of my internet and possibly cancel it. Instead they somehow convinced me to keep internet, double the speed of internet, get cable, get two dvrs/receivers. How did this happen?! SO is never letting me call ATT again!

I hate most of the nursing covers I see in stores. I just need something to cover up a little. Not a full on apron. I did find one that you can wear a bunch of different ways and I already love it.

so I HATE when moms post multiple pictures of their newborn every day. "here is 80 million pics of day 1" next day "hers is 84 million pictures of day 2" seriously... I get it you are in love with your baby...but does he really need to be all over my newsfeed? I'm not in love with your baby. Hidden her from feed and seirously thinking about unfriending.

Tried to cut back on carbs and sugar today in fear of having gestational diabetes after failing the 1hr test miserably, and OMG... I feel sick. Dizzy, shaky, tired and headachy. Getting the feeling this will be a very rough transition, if it ends up being needed. =/

So I've been having a crazy number of BH at regular intervals for the past 10ish days. I decided to cut sugar out of my diet a few weeks ago, but yesterday had the glucola drink for my GTT and today ate a WHOLE BAG of sour patch kids. Not a single contraction in 2 days. I've decided this is a legitimate excuse to work candy back into my regular diet.

I had a playtex one last pregnancy. It was double and I sometimes just used one side at a time.

I would use just one side of my Medela PISA sometimes. I warn you that it's a little messy to try bfing and pumping at the same time. At least at first.

OMG I have a friend who does this with her new baby...EVERY. FUCKING. DAY. And the baby's 2 months old now. JESUS H. It's also her 3rd child, and you'd never know she has two other (older) children unless you happened to see one of the days where she posted a "big brother" and "awwww sisters!" pic of each of them holding the baby. That's IT. I can't wait til the novelty wears off and she can go back to posting fuckin selfies.

Trust me...they look like an apron when you don't have your arms folded and a baby in them, kicking and squirming around trying to nurse and adjust to a comfortable position. You'll be happy for the extra fabric when the baby keeps shifting it around.

Not a dumb question at all! The pump should come with little covers for vacuum tube connectors...you just connect a tube/flange to one for pumping, and put a cover over the other one to maintain suction.

We waited until 1 month to start doing bottles and pacis per my LC's recommendation. Apparently there could be nipple confusion and the baby could decide to reject your breast. However, I'm pretty sure that DS would have eaten out of anything that dispensed milk because the kid LOVED to eat and we never had any issues with bottle preferences or anything like that. I'm not sure if we'll wait that long this time.
