On another note, who ever posted that recipe for the natural body scrub, I LOVE IT. I finally finished it today because I bought some lavender EO yesterday and it smells so good, as well as make my skin feel so soft. I'm hoping this might help my dry skin issue. 

How did I miss this?  Can you share the body scrub recipe?  The stuff I bought is running low and I'm gonna need a body scrub again soon.


I used I cup of brown sugar (or you can use raw sugar), 1/2 cup of coconut oil, some vit E oil and a few drops of lavender essential oils.

I melted the coconut oil first then added the rest. I put it in a small Tupperware container in the shower and just scrub it on my stomach and legs. It feels greasy but your body absorbs it and feels good when you are dry.

@fourthnlast - That just happened to me... I was cutting up a cucumber and a piece dropped and my first thought was "fuck it, I'll get it when I sweep the floor anyway".  I so effing lazy nowadays.

I dropped a pretzel yesterday while packing lunches. I said fuck it and kicked it out of my way. I have to sweep at some point today.

Also Ikea on Saturdays is a horrible place. If they weren't having a sale, I would have waited until I go on leave next month. 

I agree 100% that Ikea on a Saturday afternoon is the worst. I honestly feel like cattle being herded.

I ask because a friend of mine is type 1 and wants to TTC soon and is afraid it'll be hard on her body or her diabetes will be all out of sorts. But if your on #4 must mean it worth it and not too terrible.

I was just diagnosed in October. They still aren't sure how my body will respond after delivery, but are hopeful I can ease back on the insulin. If your friend has her blood sugars/insulin regime under control before pregnancy, that's ideal. I am closely monitored with this pregnancy - i see my ob, high risk ob's at the hospital and an endocrinologist, but so far, everything is going well.

Woke up, called in a to-go order, picked it up ten minutes later, stopped at the Starbucks that's only three blocks away (love my brunch place, but their coffee suuuuucks) and brought it all back for a pj reading date with the hubbs. I came downstairs and DH was making my last box of Annie's Mac and Cheese.. I was so mad until I looked in the pot and he put all this delicious bacon in it! Omg this is a new invention and I'm in love!! :x

Or

Get in your favorite sweats and eat ice cream and know you're pregnant and beautiful and soon you will have throw up in your hair anyway..

I am in serious need of a nap! DH is supposed to be painting the nursery. Only 1 wall, so it won't take long, but he has yet to start on that. He did clean the office though, so that's nice! I made a grocery list, but I haven't made it to the grocery store. I'm going to fall asleep here! Maybe I'll go after dinner at some point

My dad outed our name on fb... My stepmom was mortified and apologized a million times. It's not a big deal that he did because no one reads his fb anyways haha.

I've asked every time for people to not post ANYTHING (name, weight, the fact that they're born, or picture) on fb until I have a chance to.

Also! I scored an amazing deal. I found a swing on kijiji (kinda like Craig's list) for $30!! It's barely used and retails for $170! So excited to put my little girl in it
