Glenn Close? It's been in my queue forever. Good huh? That may be the push I need to finally start it.

It's good! My DH started watching it first and I got pulled in. It's good!

  • @libberlulu I have been wondering the same thing. My LO never nurses for long during the day unless he's falling asleep for a nap. Every time he nurses at night it seems like he's doing it from hunger. I've wondered if I send DH up at night and he didn't get to nurse maybe he would eat more during the day. I just feel uncomfortable trying since LO is already pretty small. I think if he was a chunk I'd be less concerned but who knows.

  • @heartlikemine3, we're in the same boat. E is tiny and he really chows down during MOTN wakings, so I hesitate to try and wean him off them.

I know I wish I had a little chubby boy so I didn't worry so much! He was 5% at birth and I've been trying my hardest to fatten him up
;) . But all I really want is to STTN again. Oh the sacrifices we make for our LO's!

  • @nachellebeck good point I guess size has nothing to do with it. I think they all just eat better at night with no distractions. LO has his first little tooth poking trough and has already woken up once its going to be a long night I-)

  • DS eats 6-7 oz every 4 hours, his last bottle with a jar of food at 8, then doesn't wake to eat again until 8-9. I only give him solids twice a day.
  • You may WANT something different by then, even if the standards haven't changed, which they always do lol.

Quit spying in our house. Every single word of this.
  • @jancandance Were we separated at birth?!
  • On the road again, blah. 6 and a half more hours until we are finally back to the comforts of our own home. Leaving Columbia SC right now and praying Jameson doesn't pitch a fit about being in his car seat for a long stretch again.

  • I finally decided to join in this thread. @nursemommy13 you can always lend out your car seat until you need it again. The one we are using is from a friend who's baby is 1 year older than DD, it worked out perfectly, I'll be finished with it right when she's expecting #2. I trust that my friends would let me know and replace a car seat if they got in an accident.

  • fun! @nursemommy13 The only chance my LO has at being flower girl is probably my brother too, but he's having a little girl in a few mo so she probably has no chance after all. :P Everyone else is already married.

  • We got together with DH's cousin yesterday day. They have the perfect baby who never cries no matter what ("only if I forget to feed him") takes long naps and STTN. They are nice people so I can't be pissed. But it still made me feel like the worst mom ever since my baby is always unhappy and cries whenever someone else tries to hold her. I kept telling myself it will get better as she gets older. Nope. No luck.

Late night confession: I want a woven wrap but I haven't gotten one because I don't know how to use it. That's a bad reason. I love my ring sling and the ergo (so much!!) but I just also really want to try a woven wrap! (Also- they are so pretty!)

I joined the Babywearing swap on facebook and I'm about to get a nice Didymos one! I'm kind of intimidated by it, especially the back carries, but I think I'm going to go for it! There's tons of tutorials on how to use them so it might be easier than I think!

I feel the exact same, I want to go for it too... Still figuring out exactly how/where to get one. I'll definitely check out the FB page. Thanks!

  • @wasnotwas

I may just have to bite the bullet & go cold turkey.
    Ugh.
Just give it a shot. Have your H commit to trading off trying to soothe him. @nykkolaughs gave me the kick in the pants I needed and he doesn't seem worse for the wear
