Is anyone using maxi pads for breast pads? I ran out of the latter and cut the former in half and it has worked fine...what does J13 think? Should I just get a box of maxi pads instead of nursing pads?

It's been too many days since I've been on this thread and there's no way I could read all the words. Instead, I'll just drop by with a picture of our Christmas dessert my mom made. She's pretty much the best.

Ok I'm going to maybe ask a really dumb question, and keep in mind this comes from a person who doesn't use pads regularly, but ... Why does it burn your breast and not your vag? I feel really dumb asking but I don't get it. All I could think was "ouch!!"

I love DH's extended family, big and loud and fun. However, some of their holiday food grosses me out a little. Anyone else eating 'pink cloud' with their meal? Also, everything is a casserole and is the consistency or color of a thick white gravy.

However I just ate about 2.5 servings of leftover dirt cake and it wasn't half bad.

My H has been on vacation all week. So, I've been really excited about getting to sleep in a day or two and having him get up with the kiddos since they like to get up at 6. Wouldn't you know, that they have all been sleeping until almost 8am all week. Of course that's great that I've been able to sleep in. But, a part of me (a really mean part of me apparently) wanted him to have to get up like I do every day. Lol.

He LOVED it! Made us all coffee and French toast sticks. My phone was out of storage so MH has all the pics. I'll take one this afternoon

It looks just like how it sounds, I believe it's made with jello, whipped topping and maybe marshmallows and it's pink. They eat it with the savory items like cranberry sauce. It looks godawful and even DH doesn't go near it. Maybe it's a southern thing?

Just have to share: after weeks and weeks of only napping on me, E napped in her swing with no problems while daddy was with her yesterday morning, so I said enough is enough! It only took me an hour, half of which I spent singing the same lullaby over and over for 30 minutes, but she is finally asleep in her swing! Now I can go take a shower!! Alone!!!!!

These are my new peeps!! Heck yes! Some spicy salsa over there. I haven't been hanging out there much. Let them weed out the weak and tear each other up. I will stroll in with all my coolness 2nd tri after all the craziness cools off.

Quite honestly though, I don't think she was being evil. I think she's just green (newb) and ignorant. She probably has no idea how "real" shit gets around here. She just needs to apologize and move forward.
