Introduce yourself: Liana! 34, Live in Los Angeles and work in the cannabis industry :)
Due date? 7/18!
How did you find out? Was waiting for my period to start, felt starving in the am, had cramps and was excessively tired- and my girlfriends got me to take a test- booom- early but line was v strong right away
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) Married for 4 years and we had just “stopped trying” since i have a lot of work things coming up- and we have been really happy. I have a 4 yr old dog that is my first baby. I work in the cannabis industry and already miss smoking a lot and am not sure how work events etc will go now… easy to hide not drinking but you can’t exactly smoke a fake joint ;) i love to dance, hit the beach and go to the movies
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) First appointment is on 11/17- i am intensely tired. So intense. I have slight cramping and a rager headache. Also my sweating has been out of control
GTKY Fun fact: Tell us what you would choose if you could only eat one thing forever. Eggplant Parmesan w a side of plain angel hair. Or avocado rolls. Forever and ever.
I am not usually one to join chat rooms or groups but feel like this will be great. Hiiii!
How did you find out? I am a little bit of a crazy tester so I started testing way too early and all of them were negative, so I stopped and have been waiting on my period. It was due this past Tuesday so I finally broke down and bought more tests just to see and it was positive!
**TW**
I had an early loss back at the beginning of last April and then we had a lot of life changes so we decided to take a break and then we finally decided we were ready to start TTC again. I did not expect it to happen so quickly.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I am 27, I got pregnant at 19 with DD who just turned 7 and also have a DS who is 5. My husband is my high school sweet heart and we have been married for 7 years. I was a lurker in my BMB with DD but was active in Aug 16 BMB. I work as a banker for a major bank. We live on the east coast near the beach and I could never imagine moving away from the ocean! I love to read and spend more time than I’d like to admit on tiktok lol.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I am excited and nervous and crossing everything that this is a sticky babe. I have not made my first appointment yet, I will probably call next week sometime. *TW* I never fully processed our loss in April and I’ve been dealing with it recently as we are coming up on what would have been our due date in December. So I can’t tell if the timing is good or not, but just taking it one day at a time.
GTKY Fun fact: Tell us what you would choose if you could only eat one thing forever? I love pizza so I think I could eat that forever as long as it is all different types.
Introduce yourself: Hi! I'm Sarah. I've been lurking for a couple weeks now and exited to finally be able to post!
Due date? 7/26/22
How did you find out? Took an hcg test this morning and got a faint postitive! I'll take another in a few days.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I'm 32 and I've been married to my husband for 6 years. We have a 3.5 y/o son and a 1.5 y/o dog named Pepper. We moved to Cincinnati from northern KY summer of 2020 and I left my job as a medical assistant at an ob-gyn office because I didn't want to do the commute across the river. Been a SAHM since. 😊 *TW* Just experienced a loss in September (I was on the April board for a few weeks) so I'm happy for this positive and praying it sticks.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) No appointment yet, I'm going to wait until next week to call and make one just to be sure. I'm pretty in tune with my body and I definitely feel like I'm pregnant. (Lordy, the pregnant farts. 😳)
GTKY Fun fact: Tell us what you would choose if you could only eat one thing forever. Sushi! There is such a variety that I don't think it would ever get boring. My favorite is a nice spicy tuna roll with maybe some avocado and some other stuff mixed in there. Reeeally considering having one last roll. 🤔
Introduce yourself: My name is Courtney and I am Canadian
Due date? July 19th ish (haven't seen health care provider yet)
How did you find out? Impatient during the two week wait and testing frequently 🙈
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I'm a high school teacher, I have a son who is almost 3 years old. We recently moved back to my hometown for multiple reasons, but being closer to my parents for extra help with childcare has been amazing for our family!
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) Feeling OK - more excited AND more nervous this time around, because I know more about what to expect 😬
GTKY Fun fact: Tell us what you would choose if you could only eat one thing forever.
Pasta, for sure. I love Italian food, and most food actually. I love to cook and try new recipes as well!
Hi! First time posting here and I'm so excited to be here! Introduce yourself: I'm Cindy, 39 and first time mom! My fiance and I have been trying for years and had just about given up when I finally got a positive test on 11/9! I am so excited and equally terrified due to being High Risk because of my age.
Due date? 07/14/2022
How did you find out? I was 6 days late and convinced that I was going pre menopause when I finally tested and got 3 positive tests
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) No other children but 2 dogs and a cat 🙂 I'm a Human Resources Director for a drug and alcohol rehab center, my fiance just started his own business 6 months ago doing remodeling. We love to be outdoors hiking or spending time with our fur babies.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) My first appointment was yesterday but my first ultrasound is November 24th. I'm currently 5w1d. No symptoms really other than absolutely exhausted and a little more emotional than usual.
GTKY Fun fact: Tell us what you would choose if you could only eat one thing forever. Right now I would definitely go with French Toast haha
Introduce yourself: Hello I am very cautiously introducing myself here. It is very early and I am a wicked superstitious person but.... I want to be here! I'm from New Hampshire but live in Vermont now.
Due date? July 26th or so. I haven't had my first appointment yet, calling tomorrow.
How did you find out? We've been TTC so I test regularly. I *swore* I saw something on 8DPO which is crazy because that is wicked early. But it my eye caught *something* that wasn't stark white. The lines have been getting darker each day.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I just turned 31 and my husband is 40. We have an almost-5-year-old boy and a 6.5 year old dog (a boarder collie pitt mix). We just moved from our home state to the next state over last year and it has taken some...adjustment for me. I work for a large outlet center (34 in North America) in the corporate office remotely and MH works in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics for the local hospital. We like to spend time outside and try all sorts of different craft beers (I will be on hiatus from this haha). We were both runners in our past lives and try to run when we can. We like playing basketball too! I bowl regularly and enjoy true crime podcasts and horror movies.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) First appointment TBD - calling tomorrow. I've been extremely nauseous for like 3 days which makes me worried. I didn't have that with my first and I hate puking haha. I am cautiously optimistic and hoping this pregnancy sticks and is smooth. I am very very nervous about my mental health however. I have anxiety and depression and am in the process of getting diagnosed with ADHD and possibly OCD. I'm not on any meds currently. So I am nervous about how I will navigate pregnancy and my mental health - also, recovery when it comes to body image.
GTKY Fun fact:Tell us what you would choose if you could only eat one thing forever. Oh pizza. 100% pizza haha!
How did you find out? Took a test since I was late. Immediately sent DH to the store for more tests since I was convinced it was a false positive. Nope!!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) Been with DH over a decade and we have 2 kids, ages 3.5 and 1. Nervous but excited to have babies so close in age!
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) Really, really, really anxious. And TIRED! Super nauseous if I go too long without eating.
GTKY Fun fact: Tell us what you would choose if you could only eat one thing forever. Pizzaaaaa! 🍕
@2022momof3 My oldest two are exactly two year apart (by one week) and this baby will be nearly exactly three years from my middle boy.
I LOVE them being close. It comes with challenges for sure, but they are such buddies. I think having them close is the way to go 😊
Hubby and Me Friends since 2008 Started dating: July 1st, 2013 Engaged: July 1st, 2014 Married: July 1st, 2016 R born: July 8th, 2017 N born: June 30th, 2019 Baby #3 Due: July 7th, 2022 (maybe I only ovulate in October XD)
Hey All, I’m Brittany. I’m 32 (33 a week from Tuesday) I’m kind of a Bump veteran. Been around since 2012 though not always super active in the community. I like to lurk and read intros and birth stories mostly 😅.
Due date?
7/5
How did you find out?
Well… every time I’m pregnant I lose all sense of direction. Last week was a sh*tshow every time I drove anywhere so I finally decided to test. The hubs and I were in bed late last night and I yelled “SH*T!” And scared the crap out of him when I saw the second line 😆😆
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
My Husband and I have been married 13 years this past month. Our anniversary is when we conceived thanks to a little mishap where we decided to just forgo the whole protection thing one time.
We have 4 kids. DS 8, DS 5, DS 3 (turning 4 at the end of the month) and DD 2. I’m a terrible pregnant person. I’m determined to really enjoy this because we are done after this babe. I love my kids and love being a mom. I recently took a leave of absence from my upper management position because I proved I can work and climb the ladder but realized I want to be a mom more. I homeschool and love to knit/crochet.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?)
I’m tired. I’m actually happy to be having our 5th. I love being a mom but I’m not excited about being pregnant and definitely not looking forward to dealing with other people and their comments on what’s happening. We don’t plan to tell many people for quite awhile because I don’t want to deal. I haven’t called to make an appointment yet. At some point I will, I’m just not sure when. Got to let it sink in a little more.
GTKY Fun fact: Tell us what you would choose if you could only eat one thing forever?
I don’t even want to think about one food forever lol but I like Mediterranean so it would need to be in that vein.
Introduce yourself: ashley! 👋🏻 also posting cautiously, but i want to be here!!!
Due date?: 7/29/22 (though i will have a c section at 39 weeks - so maybe 7/22/22?)
How did you find out?: i have been getting very faint positives for 2 days. i believe i am 9/10 dpo (very early but got dark positives around this time with both DD’s).
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
i have two daughters - summer girls (July and August) + i am a stay at home mom! i like to go on walks, read, and shop!
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?): i reached out to my ob this morning to hopefully go in for a beta tomorrow. 🤞🏻 i wake up in the am with a pounding headache and nauseous but it goes away, repeat at night. i haven’t told my hubby yet because the positives are so faint - i want to be sure so i’m a little emotional.
GTKY Fun fact: Tell us what you would choose if you could only eat one thing forever.: hmm… probably pizza 🍕
hoping i get the opportunity to stick around and connect with everyone! ❤️
Due date? July 26-ish, though my first 2 were both early
How did you find out? I was expecting my period yesterday and since we were trying to get pregnant I used a cheapie test last evening. I will probably keep peeing on sticks because I have a bunch that expire soon 😂
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I’m a SAHM with 2 boys - 6 and 2. My husband and I have been together for 10 years and married for 8. I enjoy reading, watching British period dramas and love animals.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I had to nap this morning but I give up coffee for the first trimester and my toddler had me up for 2 hours last night so that might be why! I’m also wanting to eat allthefood but my eyes are bigger than my stomach and I get full quickly. Having some mild cramping too.
GTKY Fun fact: Tell us what you would choose if you could only eat one thing forever. Brownies
@lilibea I feel you on the hiding it at work! There’s a *lot* of social drinking that goes on when I’m on work trips and it’s tough to hide not drinking! Can’t imagine having to not smoke and work in your industry. I’m curious…are you in production or marketing?
Introduce yourself: hi everyone. I’m introducing here very…anxiously?
Due date? July 30
How did you find out? Tested, and continuing to test because I’m kind of in shock.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I am married for three years, together 9 years. Late twenties, stay at home mom. I have GBG, DD1 just turns 4, DS is 2, DD2 is 9 months.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I’m a little bit in shock, scared, anxious, and confused, excited. It’s a mixed bag.
GTKY Fun fact: Tell us what you would choose if you could only eat one thing forever. — so random, pho Vietnamese soup. Sooooooo gooooddddd.
How did you find out? We have unexplained IF. This was IUI #4 (and
our last one before taking a long break from treatment). I took a FRER yesterday
morning and saw a very faint line. I didn’t truly believe it since I’ve heard
that FRERs have been terrible with indents lately. So when the line came back
darker this morning I decided to dunk a digital too. And that also came back
positive!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job?
Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) DH and I are both in our early 30s. We have
been married for 6 years. Live in the Midwest. I work at a large university
doing research in nanotechnology. We have a son who just turned 2 (Sept19 BMB. I
literally made some of my best friends from that BMB. We still talk every day).
It took us 2 years and infertility treatment to conceive him as well. He is the
light of our lives, and really all our hobbies revolve around him now lol.
We enjoy being outside in
the summer. We used to have a camper but sold it last year (since the resale
value was so high). We plan on buying a boat for next summer. Hopefully we can
get our hands on one of those lol.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any
symptoms? Emotionally?)
I’m still in shock. And exhausted lol. I was up at 4am and couldn’t get back to
sleep. That and no caffeine has me dragging today! I’ll go for my first beta on
Friday so maybe I shouldn’t even be posting here yet… But the line progression
from yesterday to today looked really promising. Just need to remind myself to
take one day at a time.
GTKY Fun fact: Tell us what you would choose if
you could only eat one thing forever. Pastries. Does that count? If not, then I
guess I’ll go with chocolate.
*TW* TTC history

@LJMoon6 hi friend!!! I can't remember what I said for my intro but I'm totally team pastry. Looking back.... yup I definitely talked about pastries haha.
GTKY Fun fact: Tell us what you would choose if you could only eat one thing forever. Tiramisu might be the one thing I would never say no to. Oh and maybe hash browns. Or any breakfast food for that matter. Pastries are the best. And by pastries I mean cinnamon rolls!!

How did you find out? I was late by 1 week and I was getting anxious so I took a pregnancy test from when I was pregnant with my 1 year old, it was expired but it turned positive so I ran to the closest pharmacy and I am indeed pregnant for the 4th time in my life.
Tell is about yourself: I have three boys, 7, 6 and 1 so you would think we did this intentionally but I am in the process of getting preclinical hours for my masters and would have wanted to wait another year. Husband is and electrical contractor and I am an elementary school teacher. We like to bike and go to the beach.
How are you feeling? I am feeling stressed and overwhelmed. My husband and I were not ready for the third baby and now we are having a fourth. I need to look into other options of birth control.
GTKY fun fact: If I could only eat only one thing forever it would probably be stroop waffles 😋
How did you find out? We had been TTC for about a year and for most of that time I had been using ovulation test strips and using an app. So I was very tuned in to my cycle! So when my period was a a few days late I took a test. In general I wasn't a big tester, i would just wait for my period to come. But in this case I had a feeling it would be different!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My husband and I got married a few years ago, we've been together 9ish years. We live in New England. I work for a co-op grocery store, he is a teacher. I love to garden, hike, read and make delicious plant-based meals.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) Still in shock! Excited and hopeful, with the reality that it might not work out. I will feel a little on edge until the second trimester. So far, I have some mild aches, my boobs are sore, and I need to eat often and in small amounts. This is my first pregnancy so its all new! (Though I've been obsessively researching pregnancy and birth for a few years now!) First appointment/ultrasound is in early december!
GTKY Fun fact: Tell us what you would choose if you could only eat one thing forever. Peanut butter! It's the perfect food.
Edit: because...wait... I SWORE I read you said you were from New England. Then I re-read and realized I mashed up two posts 😂. Sooooo... Welcome @zinnia19 - fellow New Englander here!
How did you find out? I was doing IVF and i took a test about 6 days past the transfer, and it was a verrrry light positive. I took another test 3 days later and it was a bit darker but still fairly light. I was cautiously optimistic. My first beta was 86, which is on the low end, but it grew 150% in 2 days, so I think we are off to the races.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I have been married for almost 10 years, and we have a 2-year-old daughter and 2 giant dogs (Rhodesian Ridgebacks). I am a college professor (economics) in New England.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) Very nauseated, off and on. Emotionally I'm a little all over the place. I have had 4 losses along with my one extremely uneventful pregnancy, so it's hard for me to be too excited/optimistic until I am further along.
GTKY Fun fact: Tell us what you would choose if you could only eat one thing forever. Honestly probably really good bread. Maybe tacos? Pastries are also up there.
How did you find out? We've been trying for a few months and did not expect to have early success as I'm 38 and he's 39. Been using OPK's and I was looking for my period to start last week. It didn't, and I've never missed a period in my life, so took a test and voila!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) The husband and I have been together for 11 years, married for 2 1/2. This will be our first (and likely only) child! We have 4 pets, 2 cats (12 & 17 years old), and 2 dogs (8 & 2 years old). We live in the DC area, I work in theatre and he does web development. We like to do all sorts of things with our pups (beach vacations, hiking, etc.), play board games and video games. I like to garden and do crafty things like knitting, crocheting, and cross-stitching. I'm also into running, yoga, and other exercise and have been known to run distance races and obstacle course races. None of those in my near future, though!
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I'm vacillating between excited and terrified :). No appointment yet, I'll call soon. I've been cramping a bit and bloated, the most unpleasant symptom so far is some unnecessary gassiness!
GTKY Fun fact: Tell us what you would choose if you could only eat one thing forever. Oooh tough one. Toss up between cereal (if I didn't have to pick just one), or potatoes, because they are so versatile.
How did you find out? Was testing starting at 8DPO and got that second line (albeit, vvvfl) at 9DPO. Decided to remain chill about this bfp for a few days because I have a history of loss. Currently waiting for my second hcg level to come back to confirm doubling, so here's to hoping!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) Been married for 7 years to my husband. We have two children - DS is 4yo (O17 BMB) and DD is 2.5 next week (M19 BMB). We have two senior dogs and I work as an attorney.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) Waiting on my hcg results and as long as they doubled, we'll set my first appointment. I'm hoping they'll bring me in early around 6ish weeks because of my history of loss (including ***TW** a MC/blighted ovum just in October at 7weeks). Symptoms have mostly only been fatigue and some cramping here or there. Got my first bit of lightning crotch yesterday and that is a feeling I do not miss.
GTKY Fun fact: Tell us what you would choose if you could only eat one thing forever. Lately, my answer would be TikTok pasta. Yum.
Hi! @laeberge3 My kids are basically the same age, 4 (July17) and 2 (June17). Welcome!
Hubby and Me Friends since 2008 Started dating: July 1st, 2013 Engaged: July 1st, 2014 Married: July 1st, 2016 R born: July 8th, 2017 N born: June 30th, 2019 Baby #3 Due: July 7th, 2022 (maybe I only ovulate in October XD)
Introduce yourself: Hello!! I’m Kaylin - I just turned 31 in October and this will be my DH and my first baby! We are super excited and nervous all at the same time.
Due date? July 21
How did you find out? On what I can assume now was implantation day, I was very sick to my stomach, but had no other symptoms of anything - I found it quite strange. We had been TTC for about 6 months and I was convinced I was pregnant. I have been taking progesterone (which keeps my period from starting) so that wasn’t going to be an indication. My OBGYN told me to wait to test until 14DPO….but my best friend invited me over for a wine night when I was 11DPO so I thought I should test that morning just to make sure I’d be okay to have wine. The faintest line you could imagine showed up that morning, so no wine for me! I waited 2 more days and took a digital test, and it immediately said “pregnant”!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My DH have been married for 2 years and we are currently building a house, fingers crossed it gets finished before July! We are from Michigan and we love to travel - we will be going to Hawaii and New York before the baby comes!
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) My first appointment is on Dec. 8th for an ultrasound and consult with my doctor - my ability to wait has been nonexistent and my emotions in having to wait for that confirmation of the pregnancy have been all over the place. Currently I am incredibly tired, and I have some slight nausea that comes in waves and really feels like intense acid reflux (which I struggle with anyway).
GTKY Fun fact: Tell us what you would choose if you could only eat one thing forever. If I could eat once thing forever, it would be sushi. I’m actually super bummed that I will have to stick to only the cooked stuff for the next 36 weeks!
Introduce yourself: Hello from another New Englander! I see a few of us here which is cool. I grew up in and still live in NH. I'm 31 and this will be my 2nd child. I am really horrible at keeping up here, but I'm going to try really hard this time around! I know I'll need an outlet as my closest friends are childless and it will be nice to have people to connect with.
Due date? 7/20 ish
How did you find out? Just took a test this morning after being very suspicious all week (possibly denial). We dealt with unexplained IF for two years with our first and were in the "not preventing but not exactly trying" stage this time around so I'm definitely in (happy) shock.
Tell us about yourself: I will very briefly be in the 2 kids under 2 camp when this one comes along. My DD was born Oct 2020 and she is almost 14 months old! MH and I both had siblings close in age so we definitely wanted the same. MH (34) is a PM for an Environmental Engineering company and I'm a retail manager for a gift shop. I'm very nervous about 1st tri falling in the busiest month of my year dealing with crazy Christmas shopping, long hours, and grumpy people. I'm really hoping I won't be as sick as last time. I love pets and have basically a zoo. In my free time (haha, what's that?) I like to craft and sew. Haven't done much of that this past year, hoping to find some time to atleast make baby a quilt.
How are you feeling? I haven't gotten in touch with the doc yet, no big rush this time around since I know the appointment won't be for quite a few weeks. I'm not having any crazy symptoms yet, but have been dealing with a bad cold for the past week which probably overshadowed anything I would have been feeling anyway. Definitely feeling hesitantly excited at this point.
GTKY Fun fact: I will eat grilled cheese all day, everyday!
Introduce yourself: Hi, everyone. Excited FTM here
Due date? July 1st 2022
How did you find out? My husband and I had started trying a month prior and then my period was late. Waited 6 days before taking 3 tests.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My husband and I are engineers. We live with our 2 dogs and cat. Hobbies include hiking, martial arts, and going out with friends.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I am experiencing some nausea and am so exhausted. All I want to do is nap. I had my first OB appointment last week and will have my 1st scan next week.
GTKY Fun fact: Tell us what you would choose if you could only eat one thing forever. I couldn't. I'd hate it passionately within 2 weeks. I need variety. If I had to pick a style, rice bowls since those are easily customized with different toppings.
Re: Introductions
Due date? 7/18!

Married for 4 years and we had just “stopped trying” since i have a lot of work things coming up- and we have been really happy.
Emotionally?)
First appointment is on 11/17- i am intensely tired.
Hiiii!
Due date? July 20th
How did you find out? I am a little bit of a crazy tester so I started testing way too early and all of them were negative, so I stopped and have been waiting on my period. It was due this past Tuesday so I finally broke down and bought more tests just to see and it was positive!
**TW**
did not expect it to happen so quickly.
GTKY Fun fact: Tell us what you would choose if you could only eat one thing forever. Oh pizza. 100% pizza haha!
Due date? July 8
Pizzaaaaa! 🍕

Hey All, I’m Brittany. I’m 32 (33 a week from Tuesday) I’m kind of a Bump veteran. Been around since 2012 though not always super active in the community. I like to lurk and read intros and birth stories mostly 😅.
Due date?
How did you find out?
Due date?:
7/29/22 (though i will have a c section at 39 weeks - so maybe 7/22/22?)
How did you find out?:
i have been getting very faint positives for 2 days. i believe i am 9/10 dpo (very early but got dark positives around this time with both DD’s).
Emotionally?):
i reached out to my ob this morning to hopefully go in for a beta tomorrow. 🤞🏻 i wake up in the am with a pounding headache and nauseous but it goes away, repeat at night. i haven’t told my hubby yet because the positives are so faint - i want to be sure so i’m a little emotional.
GTKY Fun fact: Tell us what you would choose if you could only eat one thing forever.:
hmm… probably pizza 🍕
hoping i get the opportunity to stick around and connect with everyone! ❤️
Brownies
Due date?
Introduce yourself: Hi! I’m LJ.
Due date? July 29th
How did you find out? We have unexplained IF. This was IUI #4 (and our last one before taking a long break from treatment). I took a FRER yesterday morning and saw a very faint line. I didn’t truly believe it since I’ve heard that FRERs have been terrible with indents lately. So when the line came back darker this morning I decided to dunk a digital too. And that also came back positive!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) DH and I are both in our early 30s. We have been married for 6 years. Live in the Midwest. I work at a large university doing research in nanotechnology. We have a son who just turned 2 (Sept19 BMB. I literally made some of my best friends from that BMB. We still talk every day). It took us 2 years and infertility treatment to conceive him as well. He is the light of our lives, and really all our hobbies revolve around him now lol.
We enjoy being outside in the summer. We used to have a camper but sold it last year (since the resale value was so high). We plan on buying a boat for next summer. Hopefully we can get our hands on one of those lol.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I’m still in shock. And exhausted lol. I was up at 4am and couldn’t get back to sleep. That and no caffeine has me dragging today! I’ll go for my first beta on Friday so maybe I shouldn’t even be posting here yet… But the line progression from yesterday to today looked really promising. Just need to remind myself to take one day at a time.
GTKY Fun fact: Tell us what you would choose if you could only eat one thing forever. Pastries. Does that count? If not, then I guess I’ll go with chocolate.

Due date? July 17
Spouse/partner?)
My husband and I got married a few years ago, we've been together 9ish years. We live in New England. I work for a co-op grocery store, he is a teacher. I love to garden, hike, read and make delicious plant-based meals.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?)
Still in shock! Excited and hopeful, with the reality that it might not work out. I will feel a little on edge until the second trimester.
So far, I have some mild aches, my boobs are sore, and I need to eat often and in small amounts. This is my first pregnancy so its all new! (Though I've been obsessively researching pregnancy and birth for a few years now!)
First appointment/ultrasound is in early december!
Due date? July 24th

Hi! I'm Beka.
Due date?
~7/23/2021
How did you find out?
We've been trying for a few months and did not expect to have early success as I'm 38 and he's 39. Been using OPK's and I was looking for my period to start last week. It didn't, and I've never missed a period in my life, so took a test and voila!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
The husband and I have been together for 11 years, married for 2 1/2.
Emotionally?)
I'm vacillating between excited and terrified :).
I work at a brokerage/consulting services firm.
Between work and kids I’m pretty tired, hence my minimal intro, but I’m so happy to be here! I’m in CA.
congrats to all the July mamas!!!
Due date? 7/26ish
Spouse/partner?)
Been married for 7 years to my husband. We have two children - DS is 4yo (O17 BMB) and DD is 2.5 next week (M19 BMB). We have two senior dogs and I work as an attorney.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?)
Waiting on my hcg results and as long as they doubled, we'll set my first appointment.
Yum.

Due date?
