Does anyone else do that thing where they look at when their next EDDs would be if they get KU this cycle or the next couple? Next cycle would have me at February 14th, which is super cool!

@marebear15 Yes I do that because I am a control freak, and being completely out of control in this TTGP journey is turning me into a crazy person.    Also, the BSB meme that came after the NSYNC one bothers me because they definitely pronounce "me" correctly in that song... but I'm an over-analyzing fun killer sometimes, hahaha.

@marebear15 O yes, totally do that. If this cycle gave me my rainbow, I'd be due right around two people's birthdays who are super important in my life. 

@shamrocandroll I just showed my office mate, who studies internet folklore (I believe I just revealed this in TTCAL lol), says that the above meme "follows through" bc of the other memes, so she likes it. She also said she likes the "it's gonna be may" one because it's been so consistent on the internet--like, it's not like everyone is tired of it--SOMEONE posts/references it every year, and it lives on. I said "Like October 3rd! or May the 4th!"

@kagesstarshroom I'll have to agree to disagree with your "internet folklore" (still dying at that term) expert office mate on that one.  To me, the thing that makes the JT one funny is that he's 100% pronouncing "me" like "may" in that song.  But, I digress.  What's October 3?  I also enjoy Pi day on 3/14 because I am a nerd.

@marebear15 I like being CD buddies with you lol. I totally do the same thing - I keep a post it note of all the dates based off of my expected period and mess with my budget excel spreadsheet lol.

@marebear15 - oh definitely, I try not to but break down and look it up toward the end of the TWW most months! This last cycle would have been 1/1 I think waaahhhh.

@shamrocandroll - October 3 is Mean Girls! When her crush talks to her to ask her what the date is. "It's October 3."

@kagesstarshroom and don't forget April 25 -- the perfect date, not too warm or too cold, you just need a light jacket. From Miss Congeniality I think?

+1 on the calculating the EDD. Then I figure out my maternity leave days and when we’ll need to put the kid in daycare. I think we all just love to torture ourselves. But, a Valentine’s baby would be super cool @marebear15. Good birthstone. Also, all the toys are available on post Christmas sale for birthday gifts.

I've been spending the last few days trying to figure out when my FET might be. ER sometime around 6/11 and the plan is to have a FET in July so not only am I wondering that date so I can check EDD, but also because the week after 4th of July is a vacation for us and I think the FET might be around then. 😬. We might literally be having this all happen in the perfect window to not interfere with our vacation and championship competition come EDD lol but we're still not sure! And this is all assuming everything goes according to plan and it works on the first try.

And unrelated side note, why do so many damn people not plan way ahead and build their hospital bags more than a month in advance?? Why are all the KU people not planners like us? Drives me nuts.

I was mentioning to my boss on Monday that I'd have some stuffed packed way ahead of time because you never know, and how my sister even a month away hadn't even thought about it and I thought she was crazy since it was her first and she has no previous experience in what might happen (baby measuring right on target probably means nothing!). His wife was due May 22 but she actually ended up having the baby yesterday, 3 weeks early. His email to our department yesterday morning including mentioning that he got the bag packed Monday night. 😆 you're welcome boss! Lol

Just using profanity doesn't count as a TOU violation, it's only a violation when the profanity is directed at a person.  Because kels called her a bitch, she got a warning.

I had my bag packed around 37 weeks because I was positive I was going early (DD was measuring in the 89%). I didn't go until 41 weeks, so my bag was sitting around and I kept pulling things out of it and using them. When it came time to actually go, I had to repack it 🙈

Just chiming in to say I’m a big spreadsheet user and have one set up with all my cycle dates and columns for all milestones afterwards, including different sections if it is a natural cycle or an FET one... 
Might now have to add birth stones and star signs though ;-)

@marebear15 yep I'm pretty much his work wife... Lol we did a trip together last year and my reminding him to check in for the flight (we used Southwest) saved him from being deadl in line to board the plane.

And I guess, if anything, at least put a list together of things to pack so that you at least know what to quickly throw in the bag!

Am I the only one who used next to nothing out of my hospital bag?  Pretty much just my slippers, pillow, toothbrush, and fan.  Everything else went pretty much untouched.

The CD 1 Cocktail: Affectionately known as Shark Week.

This blood red cocktail is made up of 2 ounces 100% agave silver tequila, 1 ounce lemon juice, 8 medium blackberries, 5 leaves fresh sage, 1 teaspoon maple syrup, and 1 dash orange bitters. Side note: This drink is called Shark Week for a reason. Don't p***y out and only drink it for two days.

Step 1: Use your intense rage to muddle the blackberries and sage together in a cocktail shaker until broken down and fragrant. Or until your anger has waned because your arm is getting tired. Why don't women do more upper body exercises?

Step 2: Pour in the tequila, lemon juice, bitters, and maple syrup. Give it a good shake and pour over ice. OPTIONAL: Light the tip of a dried sage leaf just before serving because nothing says "stand far away from me" quite like brandishing fire. I mean, it didn't go super great for *GOT Spoiler*
