Does anyone have any Christmas gift ideas for their parents / in laws? Mine never “want” anything and I’m struggling so hard to think of anything. I wanted to try to go today and take advantage of the sales but I’m the worst with gift ideas...helppppp
@b_1029 my mom and DH's parents always say the same thing. They prefer time with us over stuff, so we get them things like theater tickets, or little day trip things like @lillywonderland said.
@b_1029 Both sets of parents are super difficult to buy for too! I echo @emeraldduchess. We’ve done tickets before, and they always go over we’ll. Recently, we started making these elaborate gift baskets. Both sets entertain, so we go to Marshall’s/TJ Max and get the high end nuts, spreads, etc. Then, we put some personal touches too - Smaller gifts that they’d each like (some wine/booze related @lillywonderland 😂) One basket per set of parents. It’s fun because it always has different stuff, but they use everything in the basket.
I can't guarantee participation (I'm really slacking in baking lately) but it sounds like a fun post.
I'm mad at UPS. They delivered my neighbors package here so I'm assuming my vitamins and sephora packages went there. I'm just hoping they found them yesterday and brought them inside. Its approx 20 here and I ordered liquid foundation.....

DH just asked me if there's any way to speed up ovulation so I can ovulate today or tomorrow. I didn't know whether to laugh or make him order a copy of TCOYF. No honey, I can't ovulate on demand. SMH...he's supposed to be the chill one in this relationship.

@nomangos23 sigh yes I did and while one attachment worked amazingly, I think I have a curl type that just isn’t suited. I have very fine hair but a lot of it, so I’m very very prone to frizz. I feel like I couldn’t get everything dried thoroughly and then my roots would dry like 2 hrs later 😂

@marebear15 I would call it a curling wand. But from the reviews I've seen you start with slightly damp hair so not only does it curls your hair, it dries it.

@marebear15 Ok so maybe you can't find it because it's called a airwrap, not an airwave. They have several different attachments. I use the brush attachment and the round brush attachment, then get my finicky roots with a flat iron. I don't use the curling wand attachment. That was a horrible experience. It basically styles your hair with hot hair, which I've never been able to do with a standard blow drier. It's been awesome for me.
@chichiphin I used DevaCurl back when it first came out, around 2006/2007 and didn't really notice a difference in my curls other than they felt super dirty all the time. Like you, I have a lot of very fine, curly hair. My curls are 3A-ish depending on the humidity. I feel like our hair types are pretty rare. Do you have a routine you are happy with?

@chichiphin I used DevaCurl back when it first came out, around 2006/2007 and didn't really notice a difference in my curls other than they felt super dirty all the time. Like you, I have a lot of very fine, curly hair. My curls are 3A-ish depending on the humidity. I feel like our hair types are pretty rare. Do you have a routine you are happy with?
