Also, that botb board. It’s like beating a dead horse at this point. Everytime I go back to check it there’s like 30 more comments. It’s been quite the distraction.

It’s so f*cking creepy that she’s concerned with her future child’s sex life. I don’t care what the reasoning is. No parent thinks about the logistics of their child having sex. Just ew.

I’m having a really hard time reading that post anymore. She just can’t find it in herself to be told anything different than what she believes. Also, I can’t remember who posted it, but the person who told her she needs emotional coaching wins the interwebs today.

@kbrown2385 yeah that's why I was just so done because she won't just come to an agreement and be done. No, she's got to argue against everything. The "sample size of 1 or 2" really got my eyes rolling. It's like she lives by the scientific studies which constantly contradict each other no matter what topic you're looking at.

Coffee is both good and bad for you. Same with chocolate.

Also, FWIW your fertility isn’t a f*cking cliff that drops off the edge of the world once you reach 35. It’s a gradual decline that starts at like 22!*

*I was also pre-med(ish) so that apparently makes me as qualified as she is.

It also rubbed me the wrong way when she said that she wanted a “grandfather’s level of involvement” for her sperm donor. I know for a FACT that DH’s grandfather watched him nearly everyday when he was really young. He loved DH with every fiber of his being.

To generalize that older men aren’t involved in their grandchildren’s lives is sexist and outdated.

@lillywonderland So agree with that! I know my mom was a single parent and my grandparents were involved on an almost daily basis because my mom was working so much!

@marebear15 I got 4 months too, I think the low ball it so that when you don't get pregnant in that time you buy the bracelet

@daisy0322 yup, sounds about right. Just like how they say you should get your oil changed every 3000 miles or 3 months. I typically go 5 to 6000 miles and 6 months or so.

They just tell you a shorter time frame to get you to spend more money!

@daisy0322 @inthewoods23 well, I did the quiz and it gave me a depressingly high number...and i've passed that...It seems to put a lot of stock in age.

I finally took that "quiz" and (using information from when we first started TTC) it said 26 months...which I already passed even though it's a hella long time
