  • the bachelorette i think will be a good season, the first episode always makes me want to crawl out of my body out of awkwardness. but i can see some dramaz down the line. there is already one morality police on there. he is such a dweeb.

@carries2018  Bachelor in Paradise is the BEST.  They better be doing another one of those this summer!
  • bachelor in paradise is my jam.
All of this. I don't really watch bachelor but i am an avid bip watcher. Mostly because I would have loved to be on that show when I was younger lol, how fun does it look.

  • I have found this first episode boring so far. But I've never been a huge fan of the first episode. I also love bachelor in paradise!
  • i would go home on the first week. i would be too busy judging all the couples whilst getting crunk on the beach all day forgetting that i actually have to make a connection myself.

  • @carries2018 you made a connection with alcohol, and that's what's important!
  • I would only go to hang out on the beach and drink. Making a connection? Hahahahahaha no.
  • @jessafishy She has a way with words!
  • For those having a repeat csection, what anesthesia were you given? An epidural or something different? With both of mine, I had the epidural before the csection was decided so I already had an epidural.

spinal. it didnt make me as thirsty but it did make me itch but they just gave me benadryl after. overall it was easier/better i would say. all i remember with my csection with DD1 was being so thirsty. like i cared more about getting water than my baby laying next to me haha.

I just posted my very first thread.  I hope I didn't let anyone down.  I was nervous, it was my first. I went slow.

    Wait where? Am I blind?

  • This would be my first c-section, so no clue.  Do they give an option as to how they numb you up?

I had a myomectomy in 2014, so kindasorta a c-section in where they cut, but I went completely under and didn't leave the hospital with a baby.

  • @Brambles23 i am sure they give you options. i forget the reasoning but they prefer to do spinal for some reason. but talk to your doc about it. you are completely awake. and i was chatting away about lyfe with my doc whilst she put my organs back in. its all very surreal haha.

  • @carries2018 Does the spinal feel different from the epidural in the insertion process?  I definitely had an epidural with DDs, but now I am starting to question what I had with DS, as it was inserted while I was on the operating table.  The side effects were the same for me - wide awake but shivering and somewhat itchy.

  • @aprilsarahjune i bet that was the spinal. it is the same exact process. just on the operating table. it must work faster or something? it didnt make me shiver as much as the epidural but i think i was a little chilly. i remember they put blankets on me for both.

  • ok google says - the spinal works faster and is more dense/reliable. epidural you can feel tugging. Also the epidural needs to be left in for a drip, where the spinal they can just do a 1 time injection for a specific block of time. don't make me site my sources bc i got my information from forums so could be all wrong. but i feel like that sounds right/what i remember.

  • I'm all about the gluten all day e'er day!  Especially during this pregnancy, I need all the breads. But we are going to a going away party for some friends Thursday and she is gluten free.  I'm bringing dessert, so give me all the yummy gluten free dessert recipes that you love.
  • @carries2018 Thanks for looking into it.  Very interesting!

  • Okay, I swear I saw a thread where @mrs_fogue was asking about a paleo/gluten-free dessert recipe and I can't seem to find it now.  This is what happens when I look at TB on my phone and later try to pull it up on the computer.

Anyway, I like this recipe a lot.  It's super easy and peaches are in season right now.  I forgo the rosemary though.  https://fedandfit.com/2012/08/04/paleo-peach-cobbler/
