Haha. Okkkk well I mentioned earlier that my SIL is unexpectedly pregnant, and I sent back all the maternity clothes she had sent me a couple months ago. Was sad to see them go, although obviously not mad at all at her for wanting them lol. They're hers.
I sent them all back. Except for this pretty ratty but super comfy pair of gray yogaish pants. I kept those. On purpose. Without telling her. I'm hoping she won't notice. If she does, I'll be like oh pregnancy brain and just send them over.
Also, random question, did I miss that @jessafishy does Dice with Buddies, too? @carries2018? @melarowan? Because I swear to god that the game just suggested I challenge a user named "therealjessafishy" to a game. It can't be a coincidence, right?
Hahaha I had a couple girl hand me downs that I had to give back after DD1. I kept a few things for DD2. Figured if they asked I'd say DD1 had a blowout in it lololzzz
I've been feeling weird and crampy today and read about a few recent twin pregnancy losses which made me really paranoid. It took me awhile until I used some shampoo as "gel" and then I found them. Phew!
You guys. My friend from college had her baby twin girls yesterday - at around 29 weeks. They seem to be doing okay right now, but they are soooooo tinyyyyyy. Her husband's wedding band fits around their arms like a bracelet. Take that in. Look at a ring on your finger and imagine a baby's arm that tiny...!
I'm torn between being in tears that they're here so early and being so excited and happy for them.

@bluejeanbabi05 I downloaded it the other night but it kept glitching on me before I could find the rest of the bumpies to challenge them.
Also, wtf to whoever took my SN there.

@natleilynn please tell them they have people they don't even know in their thoughts. Medicine ( and science!!) is so awesome now a days those babies are in great hands.
@natleilynn Thinking of them! Premies are scary, but 29 weeks is a pretty safe zone barring no other complications!

@jessafishy@canonmom413 they aren't hooked up to a million machines, which I feel like is a good thing. They look pretty good, all things considering. Just....so.....early.

@carries2018 that's me every day. I'm down to some really gross trail mix bars, a banana and a bag of popcorn. No chance I'll make it through today and tomorrow.

@natleilynn thank goodness NICU care has advanced so much! I'm sure they'll be in the NICU for awhile but ultimately be healthy and fine! .
I keep trying to keep my expectations for this summer low and flexible, knowing that unexpected premature birth like this is so much more common with twins (and/or bed rest at the end).
My MIL lives across the US and doesn't work. She has asked a couple times when she should come visit and that she's available to help before or after the babies are born. I KNOW we would need help if I go on bed rest since our closest family is an hour and a half away. Plus they all work. But since we don't know anything for sure, it's hard to tell her when to come. She also wants to be here when the babies are here to see them and help out. I think I just need her to move back home.
@curlyq423 i think in about 8-10 weeks when things are a little more clear you can have her buy a ticket. but make sure it is Southwest they are a breeze if she needs to change her ticket to earlier/later. but at least you can work around a little bit of a plan. also make sure she is on standby with bags packed ready to jump on a plane haha.
I'm probably way too excited for all the sales at the grocery stores the next couple days. I've had my coupons ready since Sunday and now I'm stoked to get $0.44 packs of hot dogs and stock up on cheap snacks because foooood
Oh my goodness, the last day and a half has been insane! Trying to catch up!
Talked to my OB yesterday, and it appears that my SCH has resolved! yay! BUT, the baby had a bright spot in his stomach that they say is probably a calcium deposit that will go away on its own. Come on baby...give your mama some time to relax her mind over here! I will see the peri soon and she will check it out. My OB said they see it all the time and is not a huge worry. I'm glad it's not a problem with his heart or something...I'm just hoping that it's nothing like they think!
it appears our next family vacation will be in Feb to Omaha (i know, i know...we are a bunch of wild animals with our selection ). it just occurred to me we will be a family 5 of and can't sit in the same row. and my fear of flying is already causing some panic. at least i can get crunk in feb.
Totally rescheduled my morning appointment. To be fair I've been feeling nauseous since last night and my head feels like it's swimming. I think it's just allergies but I could use the mental health break. I'm still going to see my afternoon clients.
June 2017 Siggy Challenge: "You had one job to do!"
Two weeks from today is our anatomy scan. However, one week from tomorrow we also have a routine scan and appointment. I'm really a hoping we can find out the sexes that day. I keep calling Baby A a girl and Baby B a boy.
I am steathily eating cookies in the same room as my children and they have no idea. This is why they pay me the big bucks!
That's skill! I always try to hide everything from DD. Then DH will come around and just start eating chips or something without being stealthy and DD then has a meltdown when I tell her she can't have any. Sigh, DH get with the program!
@natleilynn I'm glad the twins are doing well! Our friends had twins at 23 weeks. They were in the hospital for what seemed like forever, but now at 2 years old they are great. Technology, science, and modern medicine for the win!
DH has been handling DD's bedtime routine for the past few weeks because I'm worn out at the end of the day. She still wears a pull-up at night. I bought the Pampers version of pull-ups this last time because it was the same price for 5 more in the pack. Well these ones don't say "front" or "back" on them, but the image on the pack clearly shows the "big hello kitty" goes in front. DH continues to put them on backwards and last night DD actually did pee and it leaked all over her bed. Is it really that hard to remember which way is the front?
P.S. I'm super thankful and appreciative of DH doing bedtime. I can't stand reading to DD at night right now ... I just yawn and want to fall asleep!
Y'all I feel like I got hit by a truck. I've been working part time since last August. Well now I'm back full time and it's kicking my ass. I feel like I'm not getting deep sleep because I'm so paranoid that I'm going to sleep through my alarms and be late for work. I feel like I could take a 4 day nap. Is it possible to feel like you're getting sick from not enough sleep? Is that a thing or am I being dramatic?
Also, @natleilynn praying for sweet little babies!
@tyannej Your immune system can be down from not enough sleep (along with being pregnant), so it's eaiser to catch something because of that. Try and get some rest this weekend! I hope you feel better!
@curlyq423 thank you, I'm going to try to, I get off tomorrow at 12 so I'm leaving work, going to find a dress for this graduation I'm going to Saturday and then I'm going to go die in my bed until DH gets home
Re: Weekly Randoms (5.22-5.28)
I wish FFFC were tomorrow. I have one I actually kind of feel pretty guilty about and I need to confess my sins to you ladies

forgive me bumpies for I have sinned. It has been 5 days since my last confession......

Hopefully I'll be back for the rest of the week. I also thought @dumbledoredies was dumbledor-deees!
also + 1 on the un-love titting. I was actually going to post something about that lol.
