@WombThereItIs I did a Teal/Aqua and gray chevron room for the twins, Probably more neutral than girly though. I love the woodlands/brave look and its not too girly.
This room some home keeps collecting more and more crap, maybe it's just looking worse than what it really is, but lord I feel like this room is permanently filled with junk of some sort. But hey, I managed to get one of the cribs out at least.
@WombThereItIs DD and this LO will be sharing a room and we are team green. DD's bedding is grey, pink, and white and the bedding that I picked for this LO is more boyish than girlish. It has white, tan, grey, and navy blue. So I'm not going overly girly either way.
@WombThereItIs like @achays11 we're team green and our room is definitely going to have more of a masculine feel. If we do end up with a girl I may add some touches of pink to make it a bit more feminine, but I prefer more masculine styles anyway so I'm kind of just letting it become more of a "boy's room." And I know the baby is certainly not going to care.
@nda_roxybabe the ikea ribba frames have been my go to for framing prints for a few years because they're so affordable, but bought some a few weeks ago and they replaced the glass with plastic. Which is good and safe in case of a fallen frame but if you hang them in a place where daylight reaches it you get weird distortion on the print! I still kept mine but strategically hung them out of direct window light.
Our nursery is still a guest room but most of the art I've ordered is here! We're just waiting on one more print (of a blue plane, similar style to the boat).
Edited to delete the picture I posted because I realized my name and address was on an envelope in view. Hope none of you are super-observant creepers...
@RainyDays86 we have the same set - love it! Our theme is solar system, and this had the "world" feel that it went well enough. Your theme is super cute
I finally ordered the above dresser artwork last night and I'm ecstatic:
The Bottle Rocket one is a little odd for a nursery, but H loved it and I'm okay with. Also need to order this Royal Tenenbaum one and this The Life Aquatic:
@nda_roxybabe , I really wanted a rug, too, but we also have carpet! I tried one (like a 5x8), and I just couldn't get past it looking awkward, but I've seen it done well in other rooms. We ended up doing a sheepskin pelt in front of her crib. I liked it better than the rug over carpet. Sigh...I wish we had hardwoods in the whole house...
@nda_roxybabe , yeah, if you can get it somewhere locally that you'd be able to return it to, it's worth a shot because you might be surprised and like it. Shipping back rugs from online stores seems to be very pricey.
I'm so excited to share my progress! I went with popular mountains that are in Banff NP, and I'm so glad I put in the extra effort instead of just doing generic peaks.
ETA: and my favourite part! The bottom section I did with chalkboard paint so I can draw animals and stuff on it now, and kiddo can draw on it when he gets older. I had thought to do the whole wall in chalkboard but it was really expensive!!
@SKZW Thank you! I did! DH helped paint the white (the room was this weird beige/yellow before) but the mountains were all me. Took me four days! Taping it all out was the hardest part. Banff is so beautiful. I feel so lucky that we live so close. You should definitely make the trip - it would be totally worth it.
Where's my fellow Harry Potter nursery mamas?! I've gotten a few crafts done, but want to do more and am out of ideas! Here's what I've gotten/done so far, and doing the gold and white chevron bedding but which is waiting at my mom's house for when we go visit in a few weeks
@nda_roxybabe We have carpet also but we are in a rental, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to put the wear and tear on a rug instead between our animals and the baby lol. We will see how long I can keep it clean! This one we got from Wayfair I will try to remember to take a pic once everything is delivered and put together.
@RainyDays86 Thank you, I am just so excited and we recently moved and I stopped working for now, so I have had lots of extra time on my hands to get obsessive lol
@CherylE418 love it! My MIL had started making stuff for a HP themed nursery and we hadn't even said we wanted to do it! She just assumed lol she's very crafty and made some cute stuff, but we ultimately decided not to do HP. So cute though!!!

It is here but we won't be able to set the crib up for a while.
@nda_roxybabe our dresser has pretty nice drawer pulls included so I don't think we need any, but thank you!
I really want a rug, but we do have carpet... thoughts? Pics?

@CherylE418 I LOVE your HP themed room. So cute! Your little touches are so cool
@nda_roxybabe I wanted a rug on our carpet too but DH thought it would look silly so we didn't try.
