6w5d (measuring right right on track at 6w3d). We got to see the beautiful flicker. We were nervous about multiples because of the IUI but there was just one sweet heartbeat.

I didn't expect to have an US this early, but I went for my first appointment today and they went ahead and did one! 6 wks, 2 days EDD June 13. Heart rate was 118.
This was on Wednesday after experiencing some spotting. I was tracking 6w3d but the dr said 6w exactly. Everything looked good and they caught the heartbeat at 113bpm. I go back next Wednesday for my planned US to make sure everything still looks good
Does it have to be multiple losses? I experienced a mmc/0 live births, but still having an 8 week scan. I guess it's not like early scans/betas prevent losses (to my knowledge), but it would still be nice.
I work in cardiac sonography and am going to have to work very hard not to scan because I know it can't be mentally good to do in my situation, but I see all of these beta testing/early scans - does it help? Other than with hormone supps, can they actually prevent loss if they see something early enough? TIA.
Loving the pics, but so very envious at the same time! ❤️️

A vast vast majority of early MCs are due to genetic issues that make the embryo/fetus incapable of life. Early scans and betas may or may not find these issues, but they certainly will not stop a MC from happening in this case.
Sometimes weird betas or early scans can locate an ectopic so that it can be dealt with before the tube erupts, but that isn't even a definite (ask my friend who had back to back ectopics and lost both tubes). However if someone has multiple recurring losses, it tells the doctor to look into other causes, like progesterone or uterus shape issues, etc.
After seeing an empty sac last week, we had a follow up dating ultrasound today at 6 weeks 4 days. Soo excited and over the moon to see a baby and heart beat of 128bpm!
Had my second ultra sound today. I am tracking 7w3d but they said in a week baby is measuring 8w! Heartbeat went from 113bpm to 159bpm. The head is on the left and you can see little arm buds forming
6 +6 measuring 6+4 but keeping LMP so due June 15. HE 113...a little on the low side but no serious concern but getting another US in 2 was for precaution.
Had a second ultrasound this week...I was still in denial about there being two but I saw two flickering hearts on the screen. Measuring two days behind but the doctor didn't seemed concerned at all because their heartrates were good. I can't wait to watch everyone's growth!!!
No pics, but we saw a teeny tiny flickering heartbeat at what my ob thinks is roughly 5w3d yesterday; we were super surprised to see it so early. I'll go back in 2 weeks to hopefully see more (and figure out an actual EDD!)
Just got done with my ultrasound. with my previous loss I was so sure I would just see an empty sac, but we saw a little baby and saw the flicker of a heartbeat. My fiance and I both cried. I'm am measuring 6weeks 1 day which matches up perfectly with my HCG counts. not really sure when I ovulated because I am not regular. so happy but still cautious. Now determined just to enjoy pregnancy as long as I can.
7 week +3 got to hear the heart beat at 166. Had some bleeding so didn't but expect to get to see the little one today! Everything is perfect! My mind will be at ease for the next 10mintues lol

I'm so jealous of all of you getting heart rates! My RE's office doesn't have the equipment for that. Maybe next week we will get one at the OB!
