Good morning! Kiddo is three, but ever since the move wakes up 2-3 times a night. Pretty much only to make sure I'm there, but I really am not feeling getting out of bed just to go in her room, say "go back to sleep" and make my way back to my bed. So last night I tried out the walkie-talkie function of our baby monitor. The couple of times I'd tried it out 6 months ago DD freaked out. Well, apparently it has become an acceptable way to monitor mom's presence in the apartment, because she woke up 3 times last night and I could use the talk button to get her back to sleep every time. Woooo!!!
Also, she woke up at 5:30 and I successfully convinced her it was too early to get up and she went back to sleep until 7!
Of course, now I'm at work and not being productive. But hey. Win some, lose some.
We watched one of our fave shows last night and the episode was "The Breastalyzer". Pretty much the wife's MIL would constantly tell her she can't drink because she's breast feeding and give her test strips to test her milk and then make her pump and dump if it was positive. Obviously this made me have a vivid dream about breast feeding.... but it went really well sooo hooray?
I couldn't sleep last night, so I decided to treat myself to a decaf PSL this morning (it's also double star day so win-win). I got in the car and drove away and as I sipped my latte I realized it was just a plain latte and there was no Pumpkin Spice in it. Day ruined.

Someone stole one of our credit card numbers, and then proceeded to buy food from GrubHub and pay their Xfinity bill. Okay, I guess? I'm not sure what I would buy with someone else's card, but I don't think it would be Grubhub.

I had my debit card stolen once and was told usually they do something small (i.e. Grubhub) to test the limit and make sure the card works and then work their way up to larger purchases (i.e. Comcast bills).
Only, they're stupid cause both things they paid for are linked to their name and address. Now the credit card company has their information and they can get arrested for fraud.
I had my credit card number stolen earlier this year. They first charged a hotel reservation in like Iowa then tried to pay their cell phone bill with it. But it's a super low limit card so the first charge maxed it out lol. Criminals are smart but dumb.

We went to the state fair yesterday and I ate a ridiculous amount of chocolate dipped and deep fried food.... totally worth it though. And I bought some kettle corn that I'm now enjoying at my desk! yay!
So we were at my cousin's wedding last night and boy! that was the BEST food I've ever had!! The bride (I'm from the groom's side), apparently, is a foodie. She sure knows her food!! And I'm not saying that just cuz I'm pregnant. Everybody agreed. Tonight is the reception from the groom's side, I doubt my cousin did as great a job, but I'm excited to find out! Nom nom nom!!
@scifichick09 our state fair is in October and they always have crazy fried food stuff every year. I cannot wait!! This years award winning fried food list includes:

these are the crazy ones for the year. They have normal fried goodness too! I love the fair!

When my wallet got stolen a few years ago, they used my bank account information to pay for their electric bill, which was over 1k. They must have felt awesome getting rid of such a huge utility bill.....until they received their next monthly statement showing it wasn't paid.

Our master bedroom is HUGE so I started converting the empty space into a nursery. I moved some furniture around to make room for the crib, drawers/changing station, and glider. I cleaned out DH's closet, donated a ton of our clothes, organized our remaining clothes to fit into my closet. I built a storage system out of old Ikea shelving and moved that into DH's old closet to use as a mini closet/baby storage. Then I spent allll day yesterday doing a deep clean of our house.
Unfortunately, this burst of inspiration has come too soon. With a messy husband, 2 cats, and a dog, the house is bound to be a disaster again before the baby comes.
