Everything hurts below my boobs. My stomach muscles feel like they have just given up at this point, my hips hurts, I get a lot of pressure in my crotch from everything just being loose due to relaxin, back hurts from supporting my belly, legs are swollen and hurt.....they say each pregnancy is harder in the body than the previous and I can defiantly attest that it's very true (#3 for me). Everything seems to be stretching and hurting more. At this point I just have keep saying to myself "the baby at the end is worth it"
BTW- are other people having a hard time figuring out when they need to pee? With the pressure I've been having in my crotch, it just gets lost in the mix.
Yes! This has been me mostly all pregnancy though. I usually just assume if my belly feels heavy, I should just go check and see if I have to pee.

I hope, for your sake, that your night sweats help decrease your swelling just a little bit!
I remember the night sweats after delivery last time...I often couldn't tell if it was night sweats or leaking boobs, or both! But either way, it just lasts a week or two. Those are some wild hormones.
Mama to Three Girls: Twins born March 2014 at 26 weeks due to preterm labor and our 37weeker born May 9th, 2016!
1st tri was awful for the nausea/vomiting/dehydration. 2nd tri was stressful/anxious that I was going to have another 2nd tri delivery.
Finally I made it to 3rd Tri!! All of the "taking it easy to prevent preterm delivery" during 2nd tri has turned into significant weight gain. whatever. Lots of pain in the crotch/vag/pelvic area. and of course my usual contractions/BHs/uterine irritability - all day, every day.
On the bright side, the heartburn is currently much better! and I will be 32weeks on Saturday!

I gave birth in March so where I live it's warmer and warmer by the day during that time. Night sweats were terrible that spring and summer!

Ow owie ouch ouch ouch lighting crotch has really got me feeling emotional right now. Having this pain added on top of my sleepless nights is making me yearn for the good-old-days of second trimester.
I'm having lightning crotch, contractions, been to L&D 2 times already, a little dilation, swollen feet, swollen legs, swollen face (sometimes), BH (on the daily), sore hips, achy back, back contractions, weirdo cravings (fish tacos and flour tortillas...not together and washed down with milk), increasing PVCs, pressure on my spine when LO does her daily yoga, thirsty for water, dry mouth, nightly HB, my weight is going up and down (but I'm still under 200lbs!! I went over 200 last time), forgetfulness, extreme tiredness (especially in the afternoons), dogs are on labor watch, doctor is on labor watch, I've lost my mucus plug and doc thinks it's to stay lost, peeing like it's my job....Maybe I should list what I'm not going through. May be a shorter list Come on Cinco de Mayo!

@TXmamatobe and @kbrands7 : maybe you can find some useful info there : https://spinningbabies.com/ ? Fingers crossed they'll still turn! According to my mum I turned just a few days before birth from breech, so anything can still happen.
Third Trimester? OUCH. Just Ouch. Tired. Everything kind of hurts. People keep asking me when it's coming and keep commenting on how "huge" I am. I apparently snore like 2 or 3 drunk big guys, at least (according to DH. Poor thing). And I am way too tired to get into any kind of nesting / cleaning frenzy once I get home. No nursery yet. NADA. I don't even care. Baby is going to sleep in our room... It won't mind if it's not finished yet... I can't open the Nursery updates thread, it gives me anxiety ;-) !
Thank you @mumbolino. I've been doing the spinning babies exercises for the past month or so, and seeing a chiropractor, but the little guy just keeps turning back. At this point, my chiropractor thinks our best chance is to get him to turn head down just before he runs out of turning room so that he's stuck in the correct position. The problem is that we can't be 100% sure when that is. DS turned breech at the end of 38w just a few days before my water broke, so I may still be playing the back and forth game with this one for a few more weeks.

I really hope you get bub to turn around! Sending you lots of twisty and good vibes !! X
I didn't want to start my own thread but this seemed like the place to post this... we would up in labor and delivery last night, I was having steady contractions (real ones, not BH) two minutes apart. They checked my cervix and I'm only dialated 1cm with 50% effacement. I was also negative for the test that tells you if you are going into pre-term labor (I can't remember the name of it, fetal something..). I got two terbutaline shots (so horrible- they make your heart beat really fast like you are having a panic attack. I'm still having contractions but they aren't rhythmic anymore, and they are less than 4 an hour. It was a terrifying night

Holy crap! That sounds scary!! Hope the contractions stop soon and you don't have to worry anymore.
@tripledaggerWed95976 I'm sorry you had such a scare, but glad that they got the contractions to slow down! FX that baby stays cozy in there for a while longer.
@tripledaggerWed95976OMG! That sounds really scary! I'm so glad you and your LO are OK and the contractions slowed down. T&Ps he stays in! Hope you can get some good rest today and over the weekend!!
@ladysamlady thank you!! It was SO scary, especially because they put me on the contraction monitor right away and we saw the contractions two minutes apart, but then they took FOREVER to check my cervix... We were sitting there thinking I was going to deliver right then and there!! I was so happy to finally find out that I was only dialated 1cm.
@kbrands7@TXmamatobeI just had my dr appt and asked about ECV... she told me it's not something she would recommend for me for a couple of reasons (FTM so abdominals are tight and apparently I have an anterior placenta which I was never told about...), however she did a quick sono and turns out the little guy has stayed head down, so hopefully he wont turn again but she'll check at my 36 week appt. I also asked how she feels about acupuncture if the baby does turn around and she said she definitely thinks it's worth a shot as she's seen it work before. Not sure if you guys are into that but I think I will give it a try if need be.
@babyfmama thanks for reporting back! I'm glad your little guy has turned and I hope he stays that way - I guess I'll find out more at my U/S next week!
@babyfmama Hooray for head down! I hope he stays that way for you! I'll have to look into acupuncture; I know my insurance doesn't cover it, so I may have to see how much it would be before diving into that too.. Thank you for the information!

Hey there - I went to an awesome acupunture place way back when for the twins in Mt Lebanon. $70 per session in 2013. They are a husband/wife and are the sweetest!

trebutaline is awful , I had it twice too ! worst shot ever
Omg it was SO bad, they didn't warn me about the fact that it makes you feel like you can't breathe and like your heart is going to explode. AND the nurse came out of nowehere and tried to put in my IV during the worst of it while I seriously was about to have a full blown panic attack because I felt like I couldn't breathe. the shot was by far the worst part of the night.. it was 100 times worse than the contractions!!
Uhh so, last night my entire uterus tightened up like a rock, literally the whole thing. Thought I was having a contraction but NOPE never went away, in fact it's still hard as a rock, all of it. Now, I'm used to my baby chilling on my right side all balled up and that makes the right side all hard and stick out, but this whole super tight entire belly thing is new...and super uncomfortable. The baby's movements are the same as they were before as far as sleep/wake, jabs in similar places, but because my uterus is SO tight every baby movement is intensified by like 10 times and they HURT. Anyone else?
@ncm0328 I remember L&D telling me they wanted to to call/come back in if my belly stayed hard for more than a few hours straight. Not sure why but it may be worth calling them ASAP to see what they say or your on call OB if it's been hard without any breaks in between for that long.
I thought I was going to be one of the lucky ones to escape the swelling. I even went on a plane at 32 weeks and didn't swell in my feet. Hit 34 weeks and my feet started swelling and by the end of the day they are squeezing out of my shoes. I'm still wearing my rings, but I suspect those days are coming to an end, too...
@vinerie I was the same! Hit 34 weeks and a few days and bam! Swollen feet! And I had just bought new flat shoes (I usually wears higher wedges). So praying it warms up here quickly so I can just wear flip flops. In the meantime, I bought a pair of compression socks, and have been elevating my feet.
Does anyone else feel like they are having trouble breathing when experiencing BH? Not exactly trouble breathing but just that oxygen is not reaching your brain? And also besides crotch pain, pain in your inner thighs? Towards the groin? I am having these odd symptoms at 35 weeks...
I started swelling at 30 weeks, but we're having a little heat wave and that's making me extra swollen! It feels like I'm wearing gloves over my hands.

I am 33 weeks and have both of these symptoms. The inner thigh pain has been going on for at least the last 6 weeks. I also get nauseous during BH.

Ditto this. Like... to the week, even. No swelling. 34 weeks. BOOM...swelling. I can still wear my wings, but I'm constantly checking to make sure I can get them off.

I know it's a typo, but the fact you can still wear your wings made me smile!

@barbieq101 yes I forgot to mention the nausea during BH! Ok glad I'm not alone but I won't be to ask my midwife about it until Wednesday so thought I would check here. The inner thigh pain has been going ok for a few weeks for me as well. I wonder why that is.
Nausea every morning if I brush my teeth too early...... And I hate nothing more than morning breath coz that make me sick! Win win really.....NOT!!!!! Some quite intense Braxton hicks yesterday, needed to pee while shopping and lil one feels so low down in my pelvis is feels as though he/she just might drop out. Was just trying not to pee too hard( would be the last place I'd want to have a baby). I am so aware of a head being "there", but at 35 weeks I don't think either of us are ready.x
