Headed for my second IUI and hopeful this one is a success, because we will have to take a break from TTC for a while if it doesn't. Thinking IUI will be on the 30th. I find out Tuesday for sure. We are using femara, gonal f and trigger just like last time. Good luck to all you others TTC!!!
Headed for my CD 11 scan to hopefully trigger tonight. I started looking up research into IUIsuccess and progesterone suppositories significantly improved iui success - I have heard a lot of ladies mention these but my clinic has not brought it up. @katie121209 this is my third cycle and it's the first time I'll be doing the suppository. I'll start them Tuesday. Not sure why I didn't have them last time.

@mummysmomma I'll ask at my next scan. Unfortunately I didn't have any big fillies today so have to go back in 2 days. Throws a big wrench in our schedule as DH will no longer be able to go with me on the new iui day. I'm nervous to go by myself because the last one was very painful
@katie121209 sorry it was painful. One of mine was slightly painful. They had to switch speculums three times.... Is it the same Doctor everytime doing your IUI? My RE has multiple doctors so I know what ones I like and do it so easily. Like this AM he was in and out of my room in less then 10 min. One younger Doctor took forever... Had trouble finding the right spot. Our bodies aren't the most helpful either. I know now for my right side I have to keep fluid in my bladder. Goood luck on folly growth.

General IUI question...what cycle day did you ladies have your IUI or wag the day are you planning to have your IUI??? I am currently cycle day 5. Had my baseline on CD 2 and have a follicle check and blood drawn on CD 11. Will have follicle check ultrasound everyday after CD 11until we trigger then two days of consecutive IUIs. My concern is that my husband leaves on a business trip CD 17. So the latest we could IUI would be 15-16. My ER made it sound like ideally IUIs would be CD 12-13 or CD 13-14 so I would hopefully Be in the clear. What has your experience been with the CD of your IUI? Has anyone gone for IUI after CD 16?
@PCOSat25 - It all depends on what medications you are on, if you are doing trigger shots, and just whatever the heck your body wants to do. If you're on clomid, the later you take the clomid, the further back O can go. You can research potential ovulation calculator dates if you really want to obsess over it (I did). I've seen people on here range from CD12 - CD21.. it just all depends. Sorry it doesn't give you an answer you want. You will have a much better idea after CD11 ulrasound.
Ugh I am nervous. It is my first cycle with this medication so I just have no idea what to expect! I did letrozole CD 3-7. Follistim CD 7-11 and Estrace CD 8-11. When I was using cloned I did CD 3-7. I believe the one cycle I had an appropriate follicle we triggered on day 14 for timed intercourse. My RE kind of just said we would have to wait and see what CD 11 Looks like on the U.S. Before we know more
Well Ladies... I took a HPT last night (actually 3 of them lol) and they all came out positive- 12dpiui! It was my birthday yesterday, so I figured I would test early... because if it was positive, that would be the absolute best birthday present ever. Good luck to all of the October IUI's!! RE sounded a little discouraged but wants to see me again on Thursday to check the progress and if the one increases to at least 16 then we'd trigger, if it doesn't then she wants to start me on 100MG of Clomid for 5 more days. Has anyone experienced having to do a second round of meds in one cycle? I'm just feeling a little down (this is first monitored cycle so I really don't know how my body grows, and with PCOS it's never the same) and just wondering if this happens often.

Yes I did 2 rounds of letrozole, the second being an increased dosage like u, which totally threw me for a loop. I was convinced that something must be wrong if we had to do that. But the meds worked and my stalled follicles and hormones increased. And then 14dpiui I got a BFP! Those doctors definitely know what they're doing, so trust them fx for you!
Had my IUI this morning! This was the first frozen sample we have tried. Hoping 3rd times the charm!! Go for Progesterone test on Nov. 2nd and Beta on the 10th!

@RMM1204 Thanks for that. Trust is hard...it's so scary not knowing really what's going on and the obsessive controlling monster that lives within struggles constantly to let go...something I definitely am working on, especially since there really isn't anything I can do to control it.

Him: Minor Varicocele, low morphology, slightly low count
History:
Beta 5/9/2016 BFP!! Embryo transfer scheduled for April 28, 2016 and beta test May 9, 2016 (day after Mother's Day!) Transfer Meds include: Lupron Depot (4/1), Minivelle Patch (every 3rd day), Estradiol (3x daily), Amoxicillin, Progesterone in Oil, Methylprednisonlone. Lovenox and baby asprin added after transfer.
3/22/16 - Sono Saline ultrasound cyst to be aspirated on 4/1/16 if not cleared up by 3/29 US - It cleared on its own Retrieval 3/4/16 - 26 eggs retrieved, 23 mature, 20 fertilized, 14 embryos currently frozen Starting IVF Stims on +/- Feb 22, 2016 HSG scheduled for 1-26-16 - All clear "beautiful uterus" (though inverted)
Switched clinics and now prepping for IVF in February / March
Went for a natural cycle, no meds, since I was supposed to develop follicles on the side where my tube closed. CD10 went for blood and sono, 1 follicle on my open side at 14. No clue what to do next. Don't want to waste an IUI.
@vnegron87 hi, i am in the same situation. I was on letrozole2.5mg cd3-7 . I went for us on cd11 then on cd14 hoping that i would be able to do my first IUIbut my follicles are around 10mm and lining was 4.5mm. They called me yesterday (cd14)and put me on second round of letrozole 5mg this time. I was very upset yesterday but i read few places that it is not too uncommon. I will go back on Thursday for us and bloodwork again. Thanks @RMM1204 for your reply! It s really good to know that i might still have a hope for this cycle. FX for you @vnegron87 , i hope we grow some follicles this time good luck for everyone who goes to IUI tomorrow.
@ZoeFer i was so scared and concerned and discouraged after my visit on Monday but thanks to the ladies here settling my nerves and reading up on it, it doesn't seem so discerning and scary anymore. Tomorrow's CD15 scan to see if I'll be triggering or uping my dose. GL to you with the letrozole and hopefully you get a couple of nicely sized and ready follicles. When do you go in for your next u/s?

@vnegron87 I totally know this feeling. Every time I face a problem, I get so discouraged . But reading about how everyone here is overcoming their problems gives me hope and strength, as well as knowledge .

I am a little nervous that I developed cysts, I have had a bit of pinching and some very light spotting - which I have never had at this point in my cycle. So we will see what the doc says about that.
Trying to pretend like I am not even doing the IUI this month. It has made all the waiting much easier so far.
