Thank you guys!! Fx for everyone still waiting!! Silver lining....AF came already so will be able to start new cycle asap (we are going away November 7th so wanted to be able to get a cycle in before we go). I'll turn back into a pin cushion for the next 2 weeks....ughhhh.
Thanks @Krista537@erica0901 then it sound about right because 10/26 will be CD 12. Taking Clomid CD2-6, I'm trying not to be too excited but hoping for the best. I guess we'll be cycle buddies :-)

@laur2444 im so sorry! im right there with u.. af came yesterday for me. im devasted as well.. i for sure thought this cycle was gonna be it for us since it was the 1st time we had multiple follicles. good luck to you on this next cycle! it helped me in the past to jump right into the next cycle.
we are taking a 6 mo break b4 starting the ivf process. good luck to everyone & fx for all you to get bfp's asap!
HPT was a BFN and started spotting tonight, the night before beta. Well this cycle was a waste even with clomid, injectables, back-to-back IUIs (one fresh, one frozen) and progesterone....feeling like crap.
So sorry @laur2444 , @greengypsy , and @Kimmie0812 on the BFNs. Having hope dashed is the worst. Be kind to yourselves. I'm truly sorry not to see more BFPs.
So sorry ladies on the BFNs. ( I hate the bad news and I know the feeling. It's not fun when you get that call or see the ugly symbol on HPT. Internet hugs >:D<
Married: 8/29/2009 TTC- since we got married (off and on) TTC with focus: Since July 2015
Currently had 2 rounds of failed IUIs, failed TI monitored cycle December 2015: Starting 1st IVF cycle January 2016: Retrieval March 2016: Pending Transfer (I have 3 PGS tested embryos waiting for a womb) April 2016: BFP, the old fashioned way.
Thanks ladies I appreciate the support! Fx for some BFPs this month. I'm going no meds this month since I will most likely develop on the side with the closed tube. So decided to spend the next 28 days doing things that make me happy!! I'm going to try and log 1 happy thing a day that is only for me!!!
I think that sounds amazing @kimmie0812....if this round doesn't work we will move to IVF in January when I go on my husbands insurance so I think that's what I will do the month of December! I love it!
So i write this hoping to inspire everyone to keep fighting the fight- because the war isn't over till WE say it is. Every cycle is a battle, not the war. Today, I officially found out that I'm KU!!! Just got the call with my beta results. I'm over the moon, but also scared shitless because I know anything can happen this early one. My fx are crossed for everyone always. Now I'm gonna go back to staring at my computer screen and try to stop shaking
@RMM1204 thats awesome, so happy for you! @Kimmie0812 i thinks thats a great approach...its always great tklo have some you time and "we" time with your partber as well :-D

@lilmissslp yes it covers 2 cycles! Apparently Connecticut law says insurance must cover 2 cycles, but doesn't have to if your company is not headquartered in CT, which mine is not, so that's how mine doesn't cover it. Open enrollment for his plan starts in November so I would get coverage starting January 1st, so hopefully I could jump right in. We are also going to make an appt this week with a fertility specialist that is a patient of my husbands (he's a dentist lol). He's supposed to be awesome, and I think we'll feel better moving forward with a doctor that is more invested in us. I go to yale now, and while I like the staff I've only seen my doctor at my initial consult and when we made our plan of action. It kinda stinks knowing she would have no idea who I was and I'll be on my fourth cycle. We will see how everything works out!
Wow @laur2444 that is amazing! I'm so happy for you! I live in NC and it is one of the states that doesn't require infertility to be covered. I think it's really unfair. That will be nice to have a couple months off but it also isn't too long. We'll prob wait until June and that feels like forever. Good luck to you!

Hello ladies! I hope you don't mind me posting here. We are 13 months in of TTC and just met with our OBGYN to discuss DH SA (sperm count normal, 41% motility, 16% normal) She is sending me to get tested for PCOS as my cycles have been getting longer and I am getting multiple LH surges throughout the cycle. As well as have a HSG (I think that's the name) X-ray. She referred us to talk to the fertility specialist about IUI after we get test results back. This is all new for us and I don't have anyone to talk to. I was hoping I could follow your threads and see how you all feel as well as the results of you IUI. Best of luck to all of you for some positive tests.
Welcome @leonard&tina !!! Hope you get everything figured out and come up with a plan. I know I feel so much better when I know what the next step is....at least you feel like you are being proactive and doing something.
I go tomorrow morning for CD 4 baseline and hopefully jump into round 4....at least I had a 16 day break from being a human pin cushion
DH told me today that if this round of IUI doesn't work (our second) that he doesn't think we should do another. He feels the success rate is low (unexplained infertility.) On his two sperm analyses his morphology was 4 and 5% and he's afraid his sperm isn't able to penetrate the egg. We have no insurance coverage for treatment so he thinks we should save towards IVF instead of IUI. Sorry for the rambling it just made me sad to think about IVF as the next step.
Follicle scan this morning. RE says she expected them to be larger considering my estrogen levels. I'm not sure exactly what that means, but it doesn't sound good. She'll likely want to scan me again Friday, then if those little suckers decided to grow I'll probably trigger over the weekend. If not... who knows. ::Sigh:: This sucks.
@ErikaMG seems like we are on similar schedules. I went in for my scan and bw today and only had one follicle measuring 22mm. I was one clomid this cycle so they expected more follicles but said the size of my one looks good. I go in for more bw and another scan on Friday to determine when the IUI will be- most likely Friday or Saturday.

@erica0901 - I'm on IUI #2 as well, this time with Clomid. That's great that you have a good-sized follicle! I have two around 15mm and six other baseline follicles, but nothing at the size they should be. Same thing happened last month, though that cycle was unmedicated. I have plenty of follies, they just don't want to grow! So frustrating. Anyway, good luck with your IUI... FX that this is the one!
Has anyone had bad cramps on progesterone? I am going to start off by saying I know these cramps are not pregnancy symptoms or signs. I'm only 5 dpo today, so that would be highly, highly unlikely. All yesterday evening (4dpo) I had AF-like cramping. I woke up around 2:30 am with horrible cramps. They were radiating to my back and into my thighs. Luckily I was able to fall back asleep about 30 minutes later and when I woke up they were gone. Now, I feel very sore and heavy just above my pubic bone. Has anyone experienced anything like this on progesterone? Is this a bad sign or symptom of anything else (like endo)? I'm wondering if maybe I had a cyst rupture? It wasn't painful on any particular side. Truly just like very bad AF cramps.
I'm take prometrium 200 orally twice a day.

@riveridgional - I did have cramping days 4-7dpIUI, and then started spotting on 8dpIUI. I was then put on progesterone after the fact. Hoping it is something good going on with your body post ovulation. When I started spotting, the cramps stopped. FX for you!
@katie121209 - I'm sorry your going through what you are going through and FX that this IUI works for you. I have one blocked tube and similar to you, our doctor took us the IVF route. We ended up cancelling our 2nd IUI because they were on the wrong side (the blocked side). It's definitely an overwhelming choice to make, and there are lots of details to understand to the IVF.
Well IUI #2 was a fail and AF, that unwelcome nasty witch, arrived today. I'm taking a break for the next few months to try and gain some cash & lose some pounds before we get married in January. I'm much better emotionally this time. Maybe the process has drained me to a point of no tears left. How are all my BFNs holding up? My hopes are with each and every one of you.
@rnthatruns0923 I am so sorry to hear that. Really spoil yourself one your months off. You deserve it!!

Just put all your energy into planning that wedding and enjoy it to the max!! Sorry about the bfn, I hope you have a peaceful break from the process
@rnthatruns0923 so sorry for your BFN time off is a good thing I think though....I was planning on starting my 4th IUI cycle today, and when I went in found out I have 3 rather large cysts and lots of fluid in my ovaries. The doctor said that's totally why I've felt like crap the past 3 weeks and couldn't believe I haven't felt sicker....I need to sit out this cycle and will go back November 17th to see if everything is clear and start another cycle. While I was so upset at first and cried the car ride home, when I thought about it I realized its a blessing. I need to regroup. I've felt like a zombie these past few months and have just been miserable and down. I need to take a time out and relax (on top of it all, we have a Florida trip with friends in 2 weeks, and I'd really like to be able to drink and have fun without the hopes of maybe being pregnant weighing on my mind!!). I hope everything goes good with you and enjoy your break as well!!!

@Piperella I also have one blocked tube. Have you considered the procedure to try and clear out the block? My RE strongly suggests that and after my failed IUI I'm considering
