I figured we can all come on here and formally introduce ourselves instead of posting "hello" boards! Post your name, age, and anything about yourself!

I am Ashley, 19 almost 20. I've been with my SO for 2 years and though this is completely unexpected we're trying to make it as positive as possible! He's 21 and a corrections officer, just got promoted to lnt. Today actually!! So proud of him! I go to cosmetology school and graduate in September! And i currently work at target. I'm from Kentucky, I have the cutest dog known to man named Archer. I'm due February 10th and I'm getting really excited about it already!

Hi, I'm Kimberly. I'm 33 and this is my 2nd pregnancy. I had my son, Asher, in Nov 2011. He was 8 days late (I managed to avoid being induced which was important to me). For the record, he was one of the stupid rare cases of dropping during labor. I had docs telling me they thought I'd end in a C section since he hadn't dropped. Granted, if it happened again, I would still have a low threshold for a c section because, though I was lucky, that isn't always the case.

Anyhow, I'm an ICU nurse in a unit that primarily focuses on neurosurgery and neurology cases. I actually just stepped down from being an Assistant Nurse Manager as I kinda hated my job, and needed the time for myself/going to grad school part time for my Family Nurse Practitioner degree. I have 2 bachelor's degrees in Biology and Nursing. I started as Licensed Paramedic before nursing school and still keep my license active, though I don't use it. (needless to say, I science). I've been married since January 2009 to the guy I had been dating since 2005 who I met and made out with at a New Year's Party celebrating 2001. 

I am a huge nerd and like telling stories. I love my dogs (I almost punched people when I was pregnant with my son who dared say I wouldn't love my dogs anymore. Eff them). I have plenty of quirks, but the worst one is my inabilty to shut up.

Hey I'm Elise, I'm 25 and momma to 18 month old twin boys. I'm a stay at home mom and absolutely love it! I got my bachelors degree in music performance but haven't done much with it since having my twins. My husband and I are high school sweethearts and have been together almost 9 years and married almost 4! We are very excited to be having another baby!

Hello, you can call me Noel. I am 31, married 5 years and I have 2.5 year old. I also live in the PNW, although it is true that it rains alot I love it. I work in management, nothing really interesting to share there. 

My husband is a stay at home dad. We have had this plan since we got married and it has worked out really well for us. We currently plan to have only two kids so this one will probably be the last. It is odd to think of this being my last pregnancy. 

My son has a speech delay, he has only a handful of words and has been in early intervention since 18 months. He is an amazing little boy, I couldn't imagine my life without him. Right now he doesn't have any diagnosis and his delay doesn't appear have a reason. 

I don't have a lot of hobbies currently, working full time and parenting a toddler don't leave me with a lot of time. My husband and I love walking and do this daily. I like doing crafts but mostly end up with big ideas and half completed projects. My DS is starting to get into crafts so this has a lot of fun for me.

@NoelBird my son has a speech delay, too. I had him in early childhood intervention until he turned 3, at which point he converted to therapy in the school district. He rated poor on speech and cognition. He's been in the Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities. Though he's slowly gained more words (and he talks a lot, none of it discernible English, which I know some children don't do that, so I'll count myself lucky), I think he's still severely behind.

Hi Ladies, I'm Jenna. I also live in the pnw:) I have a son who will be 21 months on the 10th. I currently work full time and am doing online classes through a local college. This will be my last child, and I will quit my job to be a stay at home mom for a while. I can't wait as I'm burnt out with my current job:)

Hi- I'm Jen I live in the Rocky Mountain Region. I just turned 30 and DH will be 40 in the fall; we will be married 5 years this September. We have 2 boys ages 2.5 and 13months who are at such a cute age right now (starting to really play together). We also have a slightly neurotic Labradoodle who is like a giant lapdog!

I am a SAHM and wouldn't change it for anything. I have a degree in physiology and worked as a personal trainer before DS1. I still do some consulting and love to chat about all things fitness so hit me up with any questions or if you just want to chat:)

We had a mc in early May making me nervous about his one. FX for our 3rd take home baby!! DD 2-12 (though I never had a real af after mc do this could be off a little)

Hi I'm Leeann. I'm 28 years old and live in New Jersey with my boyfriend. We just bought a new house and moved in over the weekend. We have a 3 year old daughter already named Lucy.

I'm currently in grad school for an MS in School Counseling. In the meantime I work full time at an office job that I haaate. But I only have a few more months of school to go! When I'm at home I'm pretty lame and enjoy cooking, researching Pinterest ideas that I'll never do, and watching HGTV and The Bachelor (currently The Bachelorette).

I'm Jamael (ja-MEL). I live in the Midwest. I'm 27, my husband is 26 and we got married May 2012. We were high school sweethearts, so we dated 7 years before getting married (this year makes 10 years together :-) ) My husband has a Bachelors degree in Finance and Accounting and has done really well in that, but has recently made a career change to nursing. He's half way through nursing school and just started his new job as a Clinical Technical Assistant this past Monday. I'm so proud of him!

I have a Bachelors degree in Geology, then decided to switch to education 2 weeks before I graduated (so at least I finished) and just graduated with my Masters in Educational Technology about 2 weeks ago. Still working on my teaching license though. I work at a hybrid school (half virtual, half traditional).

H and I have been TTC for 6 months. I had a super weird cycle this month so I was really ready to give up on this one. I've been ready for kids for about 5 years though! We have 2 cats, a 4 year old girl named Marlie and a 2 year old boy named Dolce. They are both exceptional kitties! Way better than the average cat!

Hi my name is Brittany. I'm 26 and my husband is 27. We've been married almost 7 years and live in Ohio. My DH works as a Train Dispatcher for a small local railroad and I am a stay at home Mom to my DS who will be turning 2 this month. We have been trying for over a year to get pregnant and had pretty much decided that our son would be an only child. I have PCOS and even with medication my cycles aren't close to manageable. So, this pregnancy is a huge surprise!
I had a miscarriage in July right before becoming pregnant with my DS 3 years ago so I am racked with anxiety about this pregnancy. I've already had a dating ultrasound due to not really knowing when I ovulate. I was too early for them to find a heartbeat so until I hear that quick little rhythm I know I'm going to be a weepy mess.

Hi! My name is Cassie. I am 28 and DH is 29. (Where did the time go!?) We have been together for 9 years and married for 5 in August. We have a lab named Sage and the sweetest 2 year old boy. 

I am a retired leasing consultant. I love real estate and would love to become an agent someday. I now stay at home with DS. Honestly if I could I would just keep popping out babies and never stop being a stay at home mom This LO will be our last though. 

We get a little stir crazy sitting at home so I am a member of a mom's group and we try to get out of the house a lot. Sometimes even if it means just window shopping at Target. In my free time I love to bake and be crafty. I also like to waste hours on the internet and watch TV. Although now that it is warm out we've been enjoying the park and walks a lot more. I'm looking forward to reading all the responses and getting to know you all more!

Hi, I'm Tigerfish227. I'm 29 DH is 36. I have 2 wonderful stepsons age 8 and 10 but this will (hopefully) be my first. We've been ttc since September and I had a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks back at the beginning of March. I work for a cell phone company (I won't say which one so that I can't get into trouble for saying anything that isn't approved by marketing) I'm in a retail store but I mostly handle the operational side of things like inventory. My job allows me to have my phone and tablet on me most of the time so I'm usually on here throughout the day.

Hello ladies. I'm Taylor and I'm 25. This is my 3rd pregnancy. It was a surprise but a good one. I've been having issues for almost a year now so I haven't been trying to get pregnant. The dr told me that if I wasn't pregnant by June then I would be considered infertile and I found out on May 28th I was prego! I'm due Feb 3 and am 5 weeks today.

Hey! I go by Angie, but my name is Angelique. I am 27, will be 28 in August, and DH will be 30 in July. We've been married since October, together for 8 years.

I have my masters in school counseling and am searching for a job in this terrible market here in So. California, DH is looking for a teaching position also! We both finished school at the same time ...

But it's cool because in the meantime, I work at a school for a kids with autism and I looooove it... I wish I would have started before I did my degree, although I am very excited to someday land in a school and do my first passion of helping students!

This will be my first child and DHs second, he has a 9yo daughter that hangs out with us every weekend. We also have a beautiful Beagle girl and a bitchy cat (6 and 3 yo)

I'm super into crafts and DIY so I'm excited for these months of prep, and over the moon to finally get to be a mommy, kids are my life!!

Hi, I'm Shea (middle name)--I'm 32, DH is 31. We've been married for almost 7 years. We have a 5 year old daughter and 2 big dogs. We both work in healthcare--he does marketing and I work with an inpatient rehabilitation facility. I'm wrapping up my masters in healthcare innovation in less than 5 weeks, which I'm pretty excited about. 

DD has been asking for a baby brother AND sister for about a year and a half. I've been ready for quite some time, but DH wasn't. He surprised me earlier this year by saying he really wanted to have another baby...so here we are!

Hello ladies! I am Jenna. DH and I are both 36 and about to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. This is my 6th pregnancy. I have an 8 year old DD, a 3.5 year old DD and an 18 month old DS.

I have a BSW and am a "retired" social worker. I specialized in child welfare specifically CPS. I have also worked with Veterans. I am now a SAHM.

This will be our last kiddo so I really want to enjoy every minute - at least after the first trimester.

Hey y'all, I'm the Rose half of my screen name. I'm 23 and DH is 33. DH has 3 beautiful children, ages 9, 12, & 13 and is pumped to have a baby...which is great, because infants freak me out a little. I'm an army medic and DH has an interim job in retail while he searches for something more permanent. PG was a bit of a surprise but his excitement is helping me adjust. He loves vintage video games and flea markets, I like sewing, crocheting, and cooking.

Hello, Mamas! I am thrilled to be expecting my first LO.

DH and I will have been married for 2 years in August. Soon after marrying, we began NTNP (and I began secretly hoping), only to find that we weren't creating any "happy accidents," month after month. When I reflected on this (and panicked), I took the liberty of transitioning us to TTC in March, and, after one very brief CP and a super-long Vitex cycle, here we are--hoping with all of our hearts for a healthy nine months and beyond.

I'll be 30 this month (in truth, this is part of why I'd begun freaking out a bit), so I'm beyond grateful for this birthday gift from the universe--or DH, depending on how scientific I want to be at the moment. DH, 31, works in the tech industry here in the Bay Area, and I'm finishing my PhD in clinical psychology (last year, at last!), so I'll be "walking" with a bundle of joy in tow, FX/knock-on-wood/etc. Talk about dreams coming true. (Oh man, I'm tearing up now. Goodness gracious.)

SO happy to be communing with you beautiful people, especially as we try to keep this secret for as long as we can stand it.

Hello! My name is Heather and I'm 25. DH is 33 and we have been married for 4 years. I have an almost 7 year old stepdaughter, an almost 4 year old son, and a 1 year old son. This will be our last pregnancy. 

My husband owns and runs his own networking IT company. I will be finishing my BA in elementary education in December and cannot wait to finally graduate.I have been substitute teaching, but since I start student teaching in the fall I won't be able to do that.

Hi my name is April, I'm 29. This is my 3 pregnancy. I have 1 baby boy who is 14 months old, he was born 3-14-14. I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks on Easter and I am now 5 weeks pregnant this time. I have been with my husband 14 years married almost 3. We just sold our house and are currently building a new one. He is 30 and a civil engineer I was an emergency room nurse until I had my son now I am a sahm. We also have a 4 year old golden retriever.
Looking forward to getting to know you ladies and celebrating all our milestones to come!

Hi everyone!
This is my 3rd baby (plus one m/c between babies 1 and 2.) Its going to be another high risk pregnancy for me. My fist was born at 33 weeks very unexpectedly and with my second they had to stop labor at 28 weeks and put me on strict bed rest but I made it all the way to 37 weeks before I had him.
It's extremely likely that I will have more bed rest and for sure lots and lots of appointments, shots, and the like.

But until that happens I'm going to be enjoying as much time as I can with my sweet boys who who are 4 and 2.

Hi, I'm Jenny from South Dakota. I'm 29 and dh is 31. Dh and I have been married almost 5 years. Together for 7. We are both registered nurses and work on the medical/surgical/pediatric floor.
We have two wonderful doggies, 5 year old yorkie and 10 month lab. We are big into Ducks Unlimited, hunting and fishing.
I love sewing, baking and diy projects. I have way to many baby sewing projects saved on pinterest. This is pregnancy #1 for us and I am super anxious.

@overblueskies i think its great that you joined this group!!! I dont think your age will make it hard to relate with the other women in the group. If anything you might find them/us to be more of an outlet for you! I know a lot of young women your age aren't having children yet so it might actually be harder for them to relate to you then you to relate to us. Make sense? Welcome & Congrats!!!!

Hi there! my name is Michelle but i go by Shell or Shelly mostly. Today is my 32nd birthday!!! DH hubby will be turning 33 this year. We've been married for almost 5 years and together for 6 an a half. We are so excited to finally be expecting. We have been ttc for over 3 years. We tried IUI's with stimulants without success. This was our first month trying IVF and we got so lucky!!! our EDD is 2/2 but that could change since there is a possibility we could be having twins!!!! 

I am currently a warehouse manager and have been with my company for over 10 years. I'm hoping that once our little one or little ones get here that i will be able to work part time or be a stay at home mom. DH is a design engineer and loves what he does. 

As far as hobbies DH loves brewing beer and he's very good at it. For now my taste testing days are over lol. I'm an avid reader and can read 200 books a year or more. I really enjoy just being low key most of the time. I also enjoy making crafts and spending time with the people i care about!

Not at all! For everything pregnancy related at least. Later when we separated from the board and everything wasn't all babies, it was definitely more difficult. Mostly because they always talked about things like divorces or buying/selling houses, moving, etc that I had no experience or insight in. But that's what makes it better too because then you can ask about those kinds of things if/when they come up for you.

Looks like I may be the oldest in the group! I'm Kristen and am 34, DH is 36. This is our second. We have a five year old daughter, Ainsley. We also have a dog, Ruby, and a cat, Audi.

We live in Tennessee and I work from home as an Intructional Writer. I am a huge sports fan. We watch just about everything. My fave is college football because I graduated from Alabama. Roll Tide! We've also become huge Nashville Predators hockey fans over the past six years.

I also love working out. I wasn't active at all during my first pregnancy and can't wait to see the differences in this one.

Hi, I'm Jen and DH and I are both 35 and this is my 1st pregnancy. We were lucky in that I got KU in my 3rd cycle TTC, though I owe a HUGE thanks to the ladies over on the TTGP board, because who knows how long I would've tried blindly before learning to chart/temp and really take control of the process. 

DH & I met in college and have been together for 15 years this October, married for just over 11. We have 2 cats (Rookie's 13 and a grumpus, Minus is 1.5 and a little asshole, but we love them both) and Elsa, our dog, who has all the energy a not-quite-2-year-old mutt should. 

I'm a copywriter (that's a writer who works for an ad agency or marketing department, writing things like store signage, web sites, emails, TV and radio scripts, or anything else that falls under advertising or marketing). My current job has me working for a restaurant company, so writing about food all day has a tendency to make you hungry!

In my personal life, I love going to beer festivals, but that doesn't jive with being preggo, so... I like zombie movies and crafting, too. Can't wait to get to know all of you better. I definitely feel like the odd one with the combo of my age and that this will be our first child!

ETA: I'm in the midwest.

Hey guys- I am married to my highschool sweat heart. We have been together since I was 16 and he was 17. We have a 5 yr old little boy and a 3 yr old little boy at home. I had both naturally and we will be team green on our 3rd and final baby this time. Might try an epidural this time though:) I'm 31 yrs old and my husband is turning 32 this Friday.

Don't forget @mrsJG3! She's 36, I think. It's always such an awesome surprise when someone knows what I mean when I say I'm a copywriter. Most people either have no idea or think I have something to do with copyright law.
