I'll be 30 when LO is born, and I have a DS that turned 2 on Monday.
I finished my schooling (PhD) in August, and have had a terrible time
finding a job. As a result, I'm kind of a SAHW. DS has stayed in school
to keep his schedule the same (and get all the benefits of socialization
that come along with his school), and I have plenty of time to look for
a job/craft/attempt to tame my wild wild yard.
DS took 14 months
to conceive (we got lucky riiiight before I filled my prescription for
Clomid with the RE). I had atypical PCOS, and super irregular and/or
annovulatory cycles. Pregnancy seems to have kicked my hormones into
whack though (I've actually been cycling regularly since PPAF returned
which is absolutely freaking amazing), and DH and I were stunned to get
pregnant on our first cycle trying this time! EDD is 2/15. I just used
OPKs and CF to judge ovulation though because DS is a super crap
sleeper, and I couldn't get reliable temps at all.
I'm a fan of extended breastfeeding,
cloth diapering, BLWing, baby wearing, floor beds, and giving babies
shot glasses. Not kidding on the last one, DS learned to drink from
Ikea shot glasses :-D
I enjoy a lot of fandoms, but I'm currently
stuck in a Harry Potter rut (and I don't particularly want to leave).
My last drink before I got my positive test was a Redd's Wicked Mango

because it's fan-freaking-tastic.

No one knows we were trying or that I'm pregnant.

I was a stay at home mom but went back to work for an awesome company. I work odd hours so I can be with my boys most of they day. It's a great compromise for now but I'm a bit worried about falling asleep at my desk once the exhaustion kicks in. O
