  • I feel like a complete asshole. Sil might be having another ectopic pregnancy. At least she isn't unaware of it like when she was with her first pregnancy.

Why woud that make you feel like an asshole? Did I miss something? I mean, it's awful for sure.

I mentioned a few pages (few days ago) back that I didn't like it for selfish and pathetic reasons.

  • I'm not really a huge dessert fan at all. I could take 'em or leave 'em. I'd rather eat cheese. Is that weird?

    Yeah, probably.

With you there. I don't ever get dessert, but sometimes I get a cheese plate.

    Yeah, probably.

I've been known to make my dinner a block of cheese with a loaf of crusty Italian bread.

Humboldt Fog. Get it at your local whole foods, let sit at room temp for thirty minutes, then eat for dinner. You will thank me later.

Omg yes. That is my fav cheese! We get it at Kroger in the fancy cheese dept.

  • All this dessert/cheese talk makes me so sad to be dairy free.  I want it ALL!!

There is no such thing as "too early" when it comes to alcohol.

    Eta rephrase.

  • Mimosas got under way at 10 when DH went to the store to get paper towels and coffee.
He also came back with this:

  • We were all sitting at the table talking after lunch and my socially awkward BIL sat on the couch, reclined the footrest, and played on his phone. Andplusalso we brought our RNP and while I was wearing LO to get him to sleep my sister put her baby in it without even asking if I was planning on using it! I had to eat while wearing LO and hold a napkin under my food so I didn't spill on him.

  • My "uncle" (he married my aunt a few years ago and is way older than her, almost 80!) proceeded to say hi to me and then ask me if I was breast feeding and if I had to supplement yet. Ummmm, beyond awkward Thanksgiving conversation....

I seriously don't understand why people are so obsessed with how others choose to feed their children. My MIL is the same way and my FIL just asked if my daughter was ever going to grow. Ugh.
  • Here's my random;
I get it, I was on maternity leave, so didn't have much time to participate on our BMB, or on the Internet as a whole.

So I don't understand why I was kicked out of an August group on here. That seems wrong, unless I did something wrong? I racked my brain for what it might be, but couldn't figure it out. :(

  • I am hiding in my room pretending to feed the baby. Lol...he's really having tummy time on my bed and trying to eat the remote! Everyone has left except my BIL who is staying overnight. He has no kids but is always advising me about LO! And he hogs the TV. And he is eating all the pie! After I emerge from hiding I am going to go hide a piece of pie :)

The A14 Depression Support group. I joined back when it started, just checked because I found out some of the ladies who are in the FB group as well as the support group were removed from the support group. And, I found out I was removed, and no idea why. Just a guess because I happen to also be on the FB group.

Yup, I have a ton of them.
  • DS will be 3 months tomorrow and we upped his oz from 4-5 to 6 due to him waking up hungry at night just over a week ago and now he sometimes doesn't even seem satisfied with 6 oz. he will cry for more and down another 2. 6-8 oz a day seems excessive for a 3 month old. I'm kinda freaking out about it.

Same here! We upped her to 5oz about two weeks ago because she'd cry after it was empty. Now she's starting to cry again-will be 3 months on the 1st.

I've been following a Canadian chart and it says 6oz is okay now. I'm scared she won't drop a bottle if we upped it, though. That gets expensive!

May I ask which Canadian chart you are using? Would love to check it out :)

  • I am sooo tired. DS2 is getting over RSV and was super restless last night. DS1 then woke up at 3 am and threw up everywhere. He didn't go back down until 4:30 and woke up at 6:20 for the day. I want a redo on my holiday weekend!

  • Why do people raise the pitch of their voice when talking to babies. Not only is it annoying, but you sound ridiculous. IL's did this the whole time.
    IL's left this morning. Hallelujah.
