My LO sleeps in a magic sleep suit too (it is truly magical!).  I worry about her getting too hot, but she only wears a diaper underneath and I make sure to turn her fan on.  I've checked the back of her neck a few times and she has never seemed too hot.

I hate this Michael Brown bullshit. It's not the first time something like this has happened. I'm not saying that to justify it, but I really don't think riots need to happen. Who knows what will happen now that the cop is not being charged.

Man!! I feel like I missed so much drama! I just spent the last 3 hours catching up. And I'll have you know LO has been sleeping so I should have either been sleeping too or having sex. Guess I'll just have to keep living through you guys and @lappyfoinker‌'s stories for the sex part of things.

My random for the day- We went to the mall tonight and I got a dress that makes me feel super sexy. But it's for LOs baptism. So I feel a bit weird hoping I get laid because of it. DH got some nice looking things too and it was all I could do to not jump his bones in the dressing room.

LO put himself to sleep last night around 6:30 and slept till almost midnight! Then he fussed and I just patted and shushed and he slept another hour before eating!! This is HUGE for us!!

Me too, but not sure if for the same reason. I think it is ridiculous and unacceptable the way people all across the country are acting.

I haven't been able to watch much news this morning so I'm not sure what everyone is up to.

When this all started the media was giving some statistics about white vs black in the town of Ferguson. It was saying the black population is the majority (by a landslide, I believe). It then said that blacks were pulled over by cops a bunch more than whites too. Well no fucking shit. If there are more cows than pigs on a highway, aren't I more likely going to hit a cow?!

I was raised (and still live in) an entirely white dominated area. I had one black student in my class out of maybe three in the entire school district (which is shared by two towns). He was super nice and I don't think anybody had any beef with him because he was a cool person. I KNOW racism still exists and is very real and horrible, but I do think it is easy for some to pull the race card and I think that is complete bullshit. "He killed him because he was black!" Well maybe he actually had a knife and was going to try to hurt him. That's called self-defense and I will support that no matter if you are white, black, brown, purple, orange, red, or yellow.

(I'm not sure if Michael Brown actually had a knife. I just hate the rioting.)

LO kept moving just her chin with a serios face. I laughed at her so much that she started crying. I picked her up and now her arm closest to my chest keeps going out as far as it will go (backwards). I can't stop laughing.
