Reading all of the prodromal labor comments makes me wonder the difference between that and BH contractions. I'm just attempting to label all of my various discomforts while I wait for this thing to finish cooking. I wish my oven temperature could turn up to make her cook faster. Blerg.
I just sent MH a picture of me sitting on the toilet going poop. It's pretty sexy, not going to lie.
Cici's pizza poop... Fun...
Why?
Because he kept texting me question marks when I didn't answer a previous text of his (I forgot). So I sent him a picture of what I was doing. No shame!
Stop judging me, CandE!!!!
You can't tell me what to do... I do whatever I want.
"Our big boy went potty in his big boy potty twice today!" ... a status I just read on Facebook that made me want to barf. It was posted right after a picture of him on the toilet captioned "our big boy!"

Sounds like you definitely want to see the picture of me on the "potty", right?! I'll forward it right over to you! ;-) ;-)
Ha! Did big girl go potty on the big girl potty? How many times today??
Oh @desertsun! I burped yesterday after eating nearly 4-5 hours before and my husband could smell it from a few feet away. He usually can't smell shit! I feel yah.
@misskilljoy rice or corn chex, doesn't matter. It's for the crunch - the taste is from the coating. Whoever said crispix is right, basically the same thing, I've used that before.
D14 November, because I am finally not on mobile, how I feel in 3rd tri:

Sounds like someone's parents might need the "once you put it online, it is there forever" speech. Why would you do that to your kid!?
@jengallagher My prodromal labor has been pretty sporadic, whereas @misskilljoy has been having it more consistently. Mine is more 3-4 hour stretches of contractions that peter out and don't start up again for a few days. I've had them run anywhere from 8-10 min to 6-8 min to 3-5 min.
I wish I had better info, but even though this is my third LO, this is my first experience with false labor. Just my luck.
@jengallagher I went into pre term labor with my first and it was definitely not the same as real labor. I was having strange pains on and off and I just didn't feel right so I sent in just to check. I'm glad I did cuz once they had me on the monitors they saw regular contractions they had to stop them. Even tonight I was having contractions according to the monitor but didn't feel them until they swept my membranes and inserted the Foley bulb. Now they hurt like a bitch. Personally, the type of contractions have been very very different. You'll definitely know the painful ones.
Update on me, checked into L&D and the induction process has begun. Contractions in your back really don't feel good FYI.

Good luck, @leosmom25! Sorry to hear about the painful contractions--sending good vibes your way for a smooth delivery. Will be thinking of you today!
December '14 November Siggy Challenge - How I Feel in Third Trimester
I really hate when I am busy all weekend and don't have time to bump. I miss so much! I now really want milk in a bag, and I absolutely need to make puppy chow today. I'm laying in bed and no matter how I lay my limbs all fall asleep in a matter of seconds. It's so frustrating.
I hear you @Slaps--cramping kept me up a lot of last night. I'd stay home but we have contractors coming today so can't stay in bed. I have a checkup at 2, near work, so might as well go sit there instead of at home. Pretty sure my boss is going to be the next to give her notice, which might happen today as well, and I'd like to be there for that.
Still, I wish I could have some version of a snow day for adults.

I've only experienced prodromal labor with #4 and this baby. It's definitely different from BH. This past Friday I had a contractions that ranged from 6-10 minutes apart for two hours, and then began getting closer together averaging 5 minutes apart for another two hours. Sometimes 3 or 4, and they'd last for a minute. BH for me just feel like tightening, but these contractions, while not painful, were stronger and there was more build up that started in the lower part of the uterus. Starting out like a menstrual cramp with pressure that radiates to the top.
They eventually stopped, so it didn't kick me into active labor, but they got me from 3 cm to 5 cm and 80% effaced. So they did something. Now it's just a waiting game as to when active labor will kick in.

Ugh. I have the worst heartburn. Cici's for dinner was a big mistake in so many ways. You know it's shit when you can still feel it 15 hours later. :-(
Before I got GD, I was in a serious relationship with those chewy tums. They work pretty well and spare you that chalky essence of regular tums. Hope it gets better!
@metaphysique - thanks so much for the explanation! I've had some of the tightening BH contractions (though I tend to not notice them most of the time according to my OB's monitor). And one night I had very irregular, mildly painful contractions in my lower abdomen for about 20 minutes, but they went away once I changed positions. I'm so sorry that you and some other ladies are having to deal with contractions before your contractions! Yikes!
I had made lunches with leftover steak, potatoes and asparagus from this weekend. Apparently I brought the only one that had all the extra potatoes nothing else. I wanted to cry when I opened it up. I'm eating a stickers now instead of my steak and asparagus.
Here's hoping my BP isn't sky rocketed at my appointment today or she is going to probably hit me with something. Oops :-) It was so good. I can't even say I am mad about it.
If it is, just tell your doc the truth. You absolutely, positively had to have the chips and guac. It was a life or death matter. You chose life ... and guac. Nothing wrong with that at all.
Good guacamole is absolutely impossible to pass up.
Married on October 20, 2012. Began trying in January 2013. RE appointment & testing December 2013 - February 2014= Unexplained IF, possible endometriosis IUI#1- March 22 (100mg clomid, 75 mg of Bravelle, Ovidrel trigger) = BFP!!!
I usually just cut up an avocado, add some lemon juice and cayenne pepper, sometimes a chopped tomato, and eat with a spoon. Best lunch ever. For awhile I was eating this at least 2 meals a day.
I made two chicken pot pies tonight. I must resist eating both of them because I want to freeze one to eat after the baby is born. I might not have 68,000 mini muffins like @misskilljoy , but at least I won't starve for a couple of days...
