Alright.. I'm just gonna ask it bc everything is deleted when I search. What happened to our former mod? I'd had a crazy busy week and when I came back on TB everyone was voting on who would replace her and I couldn't find out why.

Last night was the first night in 2.5 weeks that we slept in our bedroom instead of on the fold-out couch in the office, surrounded by the contents of our bedroom.

We had some work done on our bathroom and closet and now it's almost finished and I had a glorious night's sleep. With a pregnant belly and snoogle thrown in, real Queen-sized bed easily trumps full-sized bed.

I'm getting less alarmed by the increasing number of posts on the baby announcement thread--this may be a new phase of denial, and I'm embracing it. In the next two days, I'm planning to wash all of baby's things and get my nails done and go to yoga and have a movie night with friends. Oh and make padsicles. And pack my hospital bag. Totally doable, right?

Also - to the heartburn sufferers: it's been 4 days and my heartburn hell is not nearly even close to as bad. And i ate pizza... And hibachi... And pulled pork... I have really eaten like crap since this kids been born hahha

Cake is the high point of my morning.

- upstairs neighbor brought someone home last night and it has been a fuck fest at 2am and 8am this morning.

- brother is arriving in 2 hrs to visit for the weekend and just found Diva Dog threw up in the nursery/guest room. (Guess she was just as pleased with the neighbor's sexcades)

I was woken at 4 am by feral cats apparently having some kind of battle royale in the back yard. And then at 7 am, they were at it again, and woke up my kiddo. 

Not nearly as interesting as the sexcapades happening at your neighbor's, @CandEChicago. 

I am now at my desk at work, happily munching on a bacon egg and cheese biscuit and slurping down a mocha.

Tonight is our last date night before the baby comes. It is so weird to think that in (approximately) 14 days I'm going to have a baby! Fancy dinner tonight. I'm even going to shave my legs!

@rshamos sounds like fun! I'm impressed with the leg shaving. Right now I'm on the couch with cat, drinking water with a straw because I'm too lazy to sit upright. Ah, Saturday.

I just got my flu shot yesterday, I totally forgot about it until I woke up this morning. Thankfully, mine isn't that painful, just a little uncomfortable! I did have a terrible night sleeping though, I wonder if it had anything to do with the pain and I just hadn't realized it?

Aaaannnnnd of course while washing dishes a cup fell randomly out of my cabinet, hit my phone, flung it across the room causing the screen to shatter into a million pieces....  ~X( FML!

I HATE lazy nurses. I'm 9 months pregnant came into work on a Saturday to catch up on some stuff. Show up on the floor to do one dressing with one patient cuz my boss asked me to. This nurse was like are you doing so and so? She is always trying to get me to do her work. Turns out she didn't do dressing scheduled for yesterday cuz she heard I was coming today!

End rant but I still HATE lazy nurses!

Trust me, all Canadian kids/teenagers figure out how to drink directly from the pitcher without pouring it into a glass. And when you buy 4L (a teensy bit more than a gallon) of milk at a time, it is WAY easier to manage when it's split into three bags than when it's all in one jug!

Now I gotta convince myself to go get some milk. I swear to god its like 99% of my calories these days

I imagine I dont know because he is transverse and still really high? He turned head down for like 1 fucking day and now he is transverse again.

Milk from a bag tastes better. Where I live, I can only find it at a gas station convenience store so we dont get it often.

It took me like 6 hours to check out the birth announcement thread because I was so panicky. I am not ready for a baby.

I mean, item wise I am 100% ready.

I am about a month behind on laundry, and I need to deep clean my kitchen and steam clean carpets.

Not at all! Easier to pour than jugs, and unless the bag was put in the pitcher by my husband, the bag stays put and doesn't fall out or anything.

Plus size to milk coming in bags: you can actually freeze it that way. Thaw it, shake it up, and it's fine to use. Good for when they have crazy sales on milk, because it is stupid expensive.

We never, ever have sales on milk. We go through about 2-3 gallons a week, at $4 a gallon.

Agreed. I think it's because the milk stays sealed in a bag until you need the next one, so it tastes fresher? Or at least your brain tells you that. Who knows!

Maybe its because we go through it so fast but ours always seems fresh, lol

I have tried raw milk, though and it was gross. It may have been all in my head, though.
