I need someone to start a pregnant halter top fashion trend, because right now that's how 90% of my shirts turn out. And I'm too cheap to buy bigger clothes so close to my EDD. I also think it should be deemed appropriate for me to teach in a sports bra and pajama pants...I'd only be wearing slightly less than most of the undergrads in my class.
So did everyone's pajama/sweat pants still fit them? I think I was in maternity yoga pants before 18 weeks.
Oh no. I tried my big pair of pj pants the other night and it was ridiculous. I am thankful for my husbands clothes-both his lounge pants and his shirts. I usually wear a women's m/l in shirts and his men's XL shirts are the perfect length right now even though the are really baggy in the arm & chest area.
I usually am a small but I started wearing DH's sweatshirts(size large) with yoga pants. All of my original pants fit but I am loving the room in his clothes!

I've been in maternity everything since like... 12 weeks.
Also, jealous of everyone who can just wear their husband's stuff. My husband is waaaaay tiny and I am super curvy so... no. I would never fit in any of his clothes. Except unzipped hoodies I guess.

I so totally agree with you. MH is tiny, even not pregnant his stuff didn't fit me. I'd probably just cry if I tried any of his pants right now. Fuck pants.
D14 November Siggy Challenge: The feels of 3rd trimester...
Only the baggiest of my pre-preg jammy pants are still wearable. Many shirts roll up over the belly. Good thing I've got a nice little feater in there to keep me warm.
Kinda glad to be having a winter baby this time, though. More layers to better cover my pp pudge. I was still pretty big during the hottest part of the year with my first.
D14 November Siggy Challenge - How I Feel 3rd Tri:
Just got caught up! Here are my thoughts: - elf on a shelf is creepy and takes waaaaay too much effort - everyone loves us bc our boobs are so awesome right now. - my doggies are super cuddly too! I think it's bc it just got cold (it was 60ish today!) and they want to get under the blankets with me. - I had one tiny piece of meatloaf with a gallon of mashed potatoes for dinner tonight.
Wow, missed a busy day! I took advantage of the online sale and a rewards coupon I had at the Gap and now own three new pairs of yoga/soft/'jogger' pants. Otherwise I was in the same boat--even my stretched out pjs were digging in and it's too cold now to sit around pantsless (I'm a weenie about being cold). I also got a robe to wear at the hospital and I'm guessing live in when I get home with LO.
My cat has been super snuggly tonight, which, I agree with @amedbery, makes it so much harder to sustain trying to wean her off being the center of our attention. She's just so lovable.
And I needed it tonight--had an appointment today at just shy of 36 weeks, everything seemed hunky dory (even the unexpected swabbing for the step b test), then my doctor called later to say she'd just feel better if I had a sonogram to check the baby's size. It all seemed reasonable until I started overthinking why she would think this was necessary after the appointment. I'm trying not to dwell but it's hard to not worry! I hope I can get it done in the next few days.
December '14 November Siggy Challenge - How I Feel in Third Trimester
Am I the only one that likes my elf?? I think it's so much fun, and it gets my kids up for school because they want to be the first to find him last year he wrapped our toilet in Christmas wrapping paper... And even had a grand time making paper snowflakes and hanging them and himself from the ceiling I think he's cute!! ........and now I'm going to duck in fear of old muffins thrown at me!
@irish2014 You can watch it on comedy central's website.
Oh, on @ midnight on last Wednesday's episode, the opening video is a Starbucks exorcism in Texas. That is MY Starbucks! DH and I were catching up our episodes last night, and I said that it looks like ours. He was all like yeah, right, but I found a local news story about the video and it gave the address. Yup, our Starbucks. DH can suck it because my observation powers are awesome (and apparently I can now recognize the edifice of a Starbucks on cue).
@amedbery All hail the Doug Benson and Ron Funches. I want RF's robe he wore a couple of months ago, and HELLO, I'm bowlwoman. When will I be DB's tag team Thursday partner???
Regarding clothes: I'm wearing the same three pair of leggings when I have to go out of the house, otherwise I add yoga pants to the mix. Also, "no pants workday Friday" may also happen on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday... I also have only a couple of tops options for going outside, so some of my outfits have gotten pretty creative. I work at home and do video conferencing, so as long as I'm presentable from the neck up, fuck the rest.
I just woke up to poop (woo!), but now I can't go back to sleep.
And cute dogs, everyone! My cat just currently hopped up on the couch for cuddles on my bump (which she's never done before), so yay! Labor is coming!
@jengallagher - I'm sorry to hear that! I hope they figure out ways to keep the baby cooking longer, but it sounds like you've got a good team working on it. Ts and Ps to you!!!
My dogs have always been cuddly little AWs. If they are aware of a baby in my stomach, then it's clear they are trying to assassinate her with their spiky paws of doom all over my belly.
@3girlsnthepup you may want to try to break that protective habit now. Our gsd won't even let us touch hands without getting in the middle of us or jumping up between us, he will mouth one of our hands and pull it away. This is one reason he does not sleep in our room with us. It's not just with us, it is just people touching in general. DH had some friends over and they started wrestling, he jumped in the middle of them and bit one in the ass (not hard enough to bring blood, but it was hilarious). I have no idea where it came from and he is almost 3 at this point it is pretty much too late to break it. I am a FTM so the first few weeks I told DH he has to hold/touch the baby as much as possible when home to get the dog used to it and I am going to try and do the same through out the day.

@pooky08 is there any inanimate object that crib cat doesn't like?? For instance I previously had a cat that hated my electric massager that sits on a chair.. Whenever it was on a chair he didn't go near it... Maybe you could try that and break crib cat of that habit.... But it's cute to picture an adorable little kitty in a crib...
@pooky08 my cat slept in the cot with N, but only as he got older, she would be sleeping in the cot and as soon as the baby was put in she would get out.
You can get a net off amazon to put over your cot that stops here going in.
Not the tent style one, ours is just a net that goes over the cot flat, she used to sleep under the cot when we started putting that on.
My sister had the tent one for when her twins learned to "climb out" of their crib. Honestly greatest thing ever.

It's unseasonably warm and rainy in Atlantic Canada today. That means lots of worms are out. As I got in my car, I noticed one right behind my car tire. I said (aloud because I'm a dork like that), "I'm sorry worm, you're going to die." I got one leg in my car and then the wind blew the door shut on my other leg. Ouchhhhhhh! Karma IS a bitch.
