I'm convinced this whole "napping in crib" thing is never going to happen. She sleeps just fine in her pack in play at night (as fine as a 10 week old can LOL), I have no idea why she hates the crib so much.
So daycare called me at work today because DS was having a rough day and cried for almost 2 hours straight. Shortly after they called I had to go pump. This was the result of my one pumping today....
Also for those with Medlea pumps, the Parent's Choice bottles from Walmart fit on!
That's what my mornings look like since I don't pump at night! It feels good doesn't it?
@pepperedmoth do you have the same picture on Facebook as you do here? Someone posted on a little boy many are following and I did a double take as it is the same picture.

Holy shit I feel like I deserve a gold star. Not only did I get out of the house ON TIME today, but I'm 20 minutes early to my appointment! I have been struggling with being on time ever since LO was born!
I worked 3.5 hrs today and it was amaaaazing. I love my job. Coming home to LO and my H was great. The hubs sent me pics while I was gone. I consider it a success!

My mom is currently taking me to the urgent care to make sure that I didn't tear my rotator cuff and to figure out why I'm in so much pain whenever I move my arm. I'm so nervous something is going to be wrong. Ugh.
Hope you didn't tear it! And I hope you feel better soon.

Some of you ladies are pumping rockstars. I usually only get 2.5-3oz total per pumping session. Max I've ever pumped in one day was 18.8oz (I EP).

The most I've ever gotten out of one side is 4 oz and that was first thing in the morning. B is BFing and gaining well so I know my supply is fine, but I'm jealous of a lot of the boobs here
I sent a pic of lo at the doctor with her new weight and saying she had 3 shots. Then I got a reply saying "I didn't know she had an appt today" Well I told you the Info what am I supposed to do text everyone every time we do anything?!? wtf
They gave me a steroid shot of a pain med before I left, in the ass of course and oh my goodness did it and does it hurt still! I had plenty of needles during pregnancy but this was by far the worst!
Steroid shots suck! If you need to get another one, have them put an ice cube on the site for a minute or so before the shot. It helps with the sting/burn of the dose. I hope the 'roids do the trick and you're feeling better soon!
@bjd316 Yeah, it's pretty common to get a bump, and I'm not gonna lie my steroid shot sites were sore for a couple of days (got 4 during this pg). The pain meds for the rotator cuff should help!
1.) I have invented a new diet plan. It is called the Nutella diet. You must eat 50% of your daily caloric needs in Nutella. I have been on this diet for a week. You don't lose weight but you DO feel great!
2.) MH came home in a horrible mood today (pulling crazy hours at work). I asked him to either help cleaning up from dinner and/or to help putting Arthur down, plus to help me change the bedsheets. He fed A a pumped bottle while I did the dishes, then fell asleep on the couch. I nudged him and asked him again to help with the sheets, which he did. Then he got all snippy and "couldn't you have done some of this when you were home all day?" I asked him, very sweetly, how he expected me to clean up from dinner before we had eaten dinner, or how I was supposed to put A down hours before bedtime.
He said nothing and stared at the floor, then slunk back to bed. I bet I get an apology tomorrow. If not, I am putting him on the Nutella diet.
@pepperedmoth I love you, and your amazing ability to snark so hilariously. Good on you for setting him straight.
I don't quite remember what this girl's relation is to my BFF, but she's a friend of mine on FB. She's due in December, and is now posting pictures of her US saying "Finally looking like a baby!" She can't possibly be more than a month and a half KU. Your baby is a blob still.
Even better, her friends that are also KU commented on the picture, saying "Ohhh he looks so cute!"
Where can I put all this snark I want to dish? I can't believe I was that dumb once. I vaguely recall posting pictures of Mia when I was still in the first trimester, and going "Awww, look how cute she is!"

Major thunderstorms just passed over us... Blah! I hate being scared! Good news is DH is home and off for a few days after 7 straight however, he's already asleep. I must think it's Friday today because I asked my sister what she was doing Tomorrow and she replied "work like every other Thursday" How do I not know what day it is
I have walked from the couch to the PNP about 15 times in the past hour to put the pacifier back in J's mouth. Tomorrow I'm either getting him a wubbanub or I'm resorting to duct tape.
Sometimes the early bird feeding is my favorite time. Fallyn just wants to eat and snuggle. So dang sweet... I love my little nugget
My 3ish am feed takes forever because he falls back asleep and keeps nursing, but he's so stinkin cute I can't even be mad. Then the 8ish am feed he just wants to smile and talk after. That's probably my favorite.
Have you ever watched real close your LO drift off to sleep? It's actually pretty humorous. Its like there is something in their body that can detect the very moment they close their eyes completely... And then something in their little brain yells, "wake up!!" ... And the process starts all over again..

Funny but not funny
LO was just doing this. It's like "eyes closing...closing...closing..ABORT"
I told MIL the date of our 1 month appointment then when LO was 3 weeks old she asked how it went. :-/
We reminded her of the date, then she asked 2 days after the appointment so we told her. She wanted height, weight, what shots... (10 lbs, 23 inches, no shots) 2.5 weeks later she says, "he's getting so big,...he must be over 10 lbs by now. 8-} We replied that was what he weighed 2.5 weeks earlier, so he should weigh more now.
@Cmmo14 glad to hear you like your ergo and no back pain. My 360 arrives today and I am so excited! I have been tracking the package online like a weirdo all week! (I have a small obsession with tracking packages. in my past life I must have worked for fed ex or something because it's kind of a problem how often I check to see where they are at)
Re: The Randomest Thread
Good news for us, ENT says M's lip and tongue ties are slight and recommended no procedure. Hooray. I feel much better now.
Re: pumping - omg. I feel awesome if I get 1.5-2 oz per side. Usually it's only 2 TOTAL. Damn, that's impressive.
@lakecountrygal, JFC!! I just got 7oz total...you are a rockstar.
RIP Dr. Irving Fishman - 10/1/19-7/25/10 - thank you for holding on for me.
You made my wedding day complete.

It almost made it into her hair this time, ladies.
