Thanks @ntdane and @bandteacher. It of course got better 2 minutes before DH got home, and then they slept beautifully last night (only up once). Hoping for a better day today!
Wanna take bets on how long until she drinks again?
We decided she treats rehab like my H's grandmother treats church - she goes because it's the socially acceptable thing to do, knows the basic teachings, but gets nothing from the experience besides a few new friends.
Oh man that didn't last long hopefully things will be drama free despite the early check out
Can I just brag a second? Baby went to bed at 930 and it's 7am and he's still sleeping. There's light at the end of the tunnel y'all. They got to sleep eventually!
It occurs to me now, sitting alone in a restaurant with LO, with an upset stomach after having eaten my meal... What do I do if I have to sprint to the bathroom to hurl? .____. I can't leave LO at the table, and although my siblings work here they can't exactly rush out to watch her while I lose my lunch.
Not that it's going to happen, because I said it won't, but hypothetically. Interesting thought...
I believe I would qualify for a 'personal best' badge.
This time around I had my biggest baby, shortest pregnancy, shortest induction, shortest labour & delivery and shortest hospital stay after birth, least weight gain during, fastest return to pre-preg weight/shape and I was only sick once (if I hadn't been sick that day at the end of August, I wouldn't have known I was pregnant until December at least).
I feel the same way! That and Criminal Minds. I sat down to watch my normal marathon of Criminal Minds the week after we got home from the hospital and the first two episodes involved missing kids. I absolutely bawled through both of them.
Deleted pp..Paranoid about privacy...yet I use my full name.. Don't know how to change it../ : @Jennibeanjld would you be willing to delete the quote that you used for me? Sorry.. I just wanted to vent but now feeling guilty that I put it out there... Emotional wreck!
Totally funky looking but it's so hard to cool the backseat in the summer. When its 95 out temps in the car can reach 145! Where I am temps in the summer don't drop below 100 even at night. It's gross! Then add in rear facing to that and its just miserable for them.
You're in Arizona, right? My Mom is moving to a suburb of Gilbert to be a midwife in June. We keep teasing her & my family about not being able to get out of the pool all summer. No chance that's near you, is there?
I can no longer watch Law & Order SVU, especially when it involves kids. Pre-Asher no problem. Now it just freaks me out.
Same here. Same with violence in general, really. And there was some movie that had an opening scene that made me cry and it stayed with me for hours. City of Angels, I think. It had Nicholas Cage. I couldn't change the channel fast enough.
Sooooo I had to go watch the csection on YouTube because of this. All I can say is I'm glad I watched this after Addie's birth and THANK GOD FOR EPIDURALS! I also now completely understand why I was in so much pain. That was intense.
I've scrubbed in on lots of c-sections and am so glad I didn't need one, because I'd have know exactly what they were doing while it was happening. 'Oh, now they're resecting the abs' 'Now they're plopping my uterus out of my abdomen onto my belly' 'Oh now they're shoving it back in'. These are things no one should be thinking while it's going on!!

I stood in on one too. And i had one, so nothing was shocking to me, but it still hurt like a mother.
@WisconsinCheese12 if my h shaved his facial hair he would look 12 too. Don't feel bad! Its great to be young. How old are you guys again? We are around the same age. My H is 26, i am 24.
The last two nights I closed (Wednesday and Thursday) I didn't get out til after 1015 and I had 4 straight workdays. It wouldn't be a huge deal except we usually time it just right for LO to be hungry when I get home. I don't know how people do it with crazy schedules (@farmboyswife). I hope your plan gets you some sanity. And I hope I get moved to another store soon because I'm learning I can't keep leaving my baby 4 days in a row. Thursday he did not want out down the whole time I was getting us ready.
@WisconsinCheese12 mh and I have the same problem with looking so young. Everytime we go out with only ds3 we are always getting congrulated on being new parents and what not. I get a kick out of their faces when I tell them that we actually have 3! I get carded for everything!
Out of boredom I am trying out a pintrest idea I thought looked fun! It's a listerine foot soak. It smells interesting I will let everyone know in 30 minutes the end results!

I run into problems when I'm out because I have the twins in a huge double stroller and DS1 is potty-training. If I'm nursing a baby and he needs to go I have to try to unlatch a baby, cover myself, and get all of us to a bathroom stall where we all fit ASAP. It's quite the circus.
Ok Listerine foot soak made my feet feel tingly in a good way, they are super minty smelling, they feel relaxed, as for exfoliated I guess maybe a little. But man the whole living room smells minty!

Ohhh is it supposed to make them soft???? I was just thinking I needed to do that weird sanding thing... It creeps me out to sand my feet with that foot file but they are so soft after.
It did a little I guess they are still tingly though I kinda like it! I didn't use my stone thing on them I wanted to see what just soaking them did.
I've been smearing mine with Vaseline 3 times a day and wearing socks non stop. It's really helped my feet get softer--they've been such a mess since Layla was born.

I've been in on a few too and that was definitely part of what was going through my brain. I think I asked the anesthesiologist at one point, "oh, do they have my uterus out?" Not sure if knowing made it better or worse.....
I put my big girl undies on and left my baby with my aunt while my husband and I snuck out to a movie. Apparently she took a bottle like a champ even though I've never given her one, AND the 3 oz of breast milk I left with them was not enough. Having a proud mommy moment!
Tonight I jokingly looked at DH and said want to try for number two? ( I was just cleared for sex yesterday BTW) he looks at me goes... "Ok, why not?" I panicked at the thought of having two so close together, but turns out he would be totally on board... Now it's got me thinking!

Isla was born on my dad's birthday. I just said to Joe, "You know if we got pregnant this month, there is a chance the baby could be born on one of our mom's birthdays (Feb 13 & 14)."
That's a little funny...only a little because my LO peed on me this morning. Through her diaper.
I'm so frustrated. I have really bad hemorrhoids. I pooped this morning at 9. It's now 2:15 and I'm still in freakin pain. So I finally said enough. Time for the doctor. So off to the clinic we went. Except there are no doctors in until 4:30. Great. Just in time for witching hour. This sucks.
Re: The Randomest Thread
And my cousin is the last girl on the video. So it made it extra special!

@WoodShopGirl
But thanks for the support! ( ;
Oh well. These are good awards too!

It's almost as bad for me as target
