ILs are in town which means Bs nap schedule is all screwed up. She's STTN for the past two days, which I think is because I've got her on a nap schedule during the day. Something tells me tonight is going to suck

I'm at the cabin with my in laws. One of my sister in laws has a 9 month old that weighs 22lbs and barely is sitting up on his own. SIL took a teething ring and ball that is ours and gave it to her lo who of course proceeded to put it in his mouth. Thank you ..the twins definitely need your sons germs! Get your own toys!

Ffsc? I couldn't give two shits less that a gay football player got drafted. He's a football player. End of story. Why is it a huge discussion that he's gay? Andplusalso, he did terrible at the combine and it's questionable if he even deserved to get drafted. So did he get drafted just because he's openly gay?

I may have agreed to our movie date night last night to be my Mothers Day gift. Growing up we didn't give my mom big gifts, it was mainly breakfast in bed, and hanging flower baskets.

The main reason I don't want my husband to go all out for me is because I have absolutely no effing clue what to do for his Father's Day.

@SomersIsles‌ this is the exact reason why DH now has a separate credit card for birthdays and holidays. I do all the bills and have accidentally ruined a lot of surprises. Hope you love your gift!!

It's harder to keep up with everyone's names and stories there, I agree. I do like seeing everyone's LO's more often on the FB group, though. If I weren't mobile all the time, I would look at that spreadsheet to see who everyone is all the time.

I just looked at the post. I have a ring sling, but I haven't used it yet. But I clicked on your FB profile (is that creepy?). I remember you mentioned our DDs look alike. Your cover photo reminds me so much of Isla. They're cute lol

@nkrone08 - the reason that it looks so easy on House Hunters is that it's fake.  You have to have already purchased the home or be under contract in order to get on the show.

I heard this once and it makes sense, both of them are always thinking of the same house they want to pick!

I've heard most of the purchasing shows are like that. Luckily I'm a sucker for the remodel before and afters. You can't stage those!

Today was my daughters rescheduled 4th birthday party (first was during surgery). I was heading out the door to pick up the last few things when my H called. He and his buddy were riding a couple towns over and his friend flipped over his handlebars. I had to go pick them up and therefore didn't have any decorations for the birthday party. It was such a half assed party. And poor guy broke his collar bone. They are training for an ironman.

@babylimas that sucks! My mom went over her handlebars a few years ago. No broken bones but the road rash was a bitch. Hope he recovers quickly.

Hey @Laura8388‌ does your angelcare monitor's sound stay on continuously or does it come in and out? Tonight is our first night in the crib and the sound icon is on, it's not on mute, good signal strength. Everything seems fine but I'm not getting continuos sound. It only cuts in every now and then. I'm afraid I won't hear her cry or fuss to know she needs me.

I feel like a whiner complaining about this but... Holland did not want to go to sleep. I basically had to smother her in lavender oil & swaddle the crap out of her. It took over an hour of fighting before she finally fell asleep.

Her eyes just opened and she projectile vomited (just milk) all over the pack & play. It miraculously didn't get on her sooooo I just scooted her over to the other side and am praying she falls back to sleep. That laundry can wait until morning. ESPECIALLY if it doesn't disturb the sleeping babe.

@theluckiest9‌ I don't have an angelcare monitor, but ours has a "sleep mode" I guess where the video stays on but the sounds goes off until it picks up so many decibels of sound then it automatically comes back on. Could it be something like that?

Quite possibly. My H went in there and turned off the white noise. He thought that may be causing interference issues?? Then he tapped on the microphone in the nursery and I heard it fine in our room across the hall.

When we tested it it worked just fine. Of course after we get her down and turn it on it's giving us problems. I'm a little nervous about her being in her room alone to begin with. I'm scared I won't hear her if she has trouble.

Thank you! That's so reassuring. I usually go to bed when she does but I've been sitting in bed staring at the video monitor worried. I hope she does ok. All her little noises and random movements keep me up or wake me up all night so this could mean better sleep.

It wasn't me but I actually got flagged for saying cream of wheat is gross. I just looked it was back in December, think the person was called SummerKraft. I guess I don't pay much attention.

I didn't know we could unflag people. I'm sure I do it all the time since I'm mobile and I'll hit it sometimes when I'm scrolling.
