@cmmo14 no crying! The original ergo is still awesome sauce!! I stumbled on the 360. Didn't even know about it until I saw a blog post about it (but naturally had to have the newest) I feel the same way about our bob stroller. They are coming out with new colors and an all black and the handlebar moves...damn it!
Just loaded up lo in the rain (outside city parking) into the car. Drove 25 min in traffic. Shopped at whole foods. Ate lunch there. Drive back. Got everything up to our apt. By myself. It's a huge win. I'm usually super anxious if alone. Now she's sleeping in her car seat. Is that ok???
Isla is sleeping in her car seat right now, but she's right in front of me. I never take her out if she's sleeping, but I keep my eye on her.
I wore Colton around the grocery store today for the first time! It was so much easier than having him in the car seat and using 2 carts. And it didn't even hurt my back
The liquor store on the way to my inlaws is out of my current fav wine. We are heading to help them finish packing and move (they moved to Colorado at thanksgiving and just bought a house last week. Rented while looking for what they wanted)
Well hell. I just went back to pump only to realize I left my pump running for 3 hours. I left it running to clear the condensation in the lines then forgot about it. Mom fail du jour
I'm getting my drink on tonight. I have plenty of pumped milk (over 100 oz in the freezer.) and DH is home to watch LO. I'm having trouble pulling the trigger though. I've had one drink and my second one has been sitting in front of me for an hour. Damn you mommy guilt.
I have a glass of wine in my hand right now. The most I've had since delivering is 3 and that got me a little tipsy. Weaaaak.

We have been getting carpenter ants in the bedroom and had the exterminator out to verify they're carpenter ants and not termites and get rid of them. I just discovered sugar ants all over the laundry room. Fuck! I hate ants in the house!

@WisconsinCheese12 that's called 'banditing' and it's really common. Some races discourage it but some don't mind. Unless their website says "no banditing!" I wouldn't worry, esp since you're already donating. (Also I don't like that charity, but that's a whole 'nother story!)
So I had an interview yesterday and a call back interview this morning. I got an email from another firm for an interview next week.
I should feel relieved and excited. I'm just depressed because no matter what with my commute it'll be 12+ hour days and I'll pretty much never see my baby again. DH and I tried to figure out a way that I could stay at home and it will literally never be possible-he would have to double his salary to make it feasible. I'm being totally irrational but all I can think of is all the firsts I will miss and how he will be seeing more of my mother than of me because he will be asleep the whole time I'm home. I won't even start until September and its making me miserable now.

I've only had one a couple times. One of the times I had a Long Island (my favorite) and I got tipsy. I was slightly annoyed that my tolerance has become so low.
Think of all the money you're saving though. Makes you a super cheap date. I'm enjoying a sailor and diet Dr pepper right now. I literally cannot remember the last time I had this. I'm enjoying it way too much.
I just attempted to make a pot of coffee and after staring at the pot for no less than 4 minutes wondering why no coffee was dripping into the pot, I realized that I never poured the water into the tank. I'm either an idiot or in dire need of sleep.
I feel like such a loser cuz im not gonna win anything with the M14 awards thing. FML I never win anything
I feel like I deserve a badge anyway because I was a badass during labor. F this I'm out! JK y'all are the only friends I have!!! Haha
Everything about my labor and my baby was average and normal. No awards here either.
ETA: although i'm not complaining! I'd take an average labor/baby over anything else!
Yea thats a good thing you still deserve a badge. We all do xo

I'm going to lose my mind. DH is playing hockey tonight, and thankfully DS1 is at my parents. So I'm home with the twins and I can only get them to sleep if I'm holding them. It's basically rocking, holding, cuddling one to sleep. Set that one down because the other starts fussing. Pick up fussy baby and rock, hold, cuddle. Then repeat. For three hours. FML.
@FarmBoysWife that sucks!! But no crying over spilled milk. (Ok a few tears can be shed over breastmilk) and wtf are you doing up this late? Isn't it way past midnight in Vermont?
I just spilt all but 2oz of fresh pumped milk (about 4.5 total) all over the floor.
I cried and the cats are licking it up now.
Ducking cats. I hate cats. I hate BF'ing. I hate pumping. I hate lyfe!!!
I'm trying to decide if you meant to say ducking cats or if that's a typo. Kinda hope it was intentional... It's like the new version of the asterix... Just use an adjacent letter.
Don't cry, your cats are now super cats full of liquid gold. Perhaps you boosted their immune system and brain development.
I feel like an idiot. How do I search just our board? I have the dropdown menu with M14 selected, but when I hit Go next to it, it searches all boards. ???
I basically search twice. Do the first one and then when the results page shows up, I search again with March 2014 selected again (click the down arrow next to your search term) and then it works.

Ugh, hang in there mama! That was a lot like my day today except I had the toddler home too. I had wanted to go run a few errands and while it probably would have been good to get out of the house there was no way I was going to have the patience for it. Hope the babies gave you a long stretch of sleep in the end!
We just switched to size one diapers... I'm just now realizing that only the pampers swaddles had the wetness indicator strip! Now I'm debating about returning all the diapers in my stash for swaddles. Any opinions? Am I just being spoiled?

@FarmBoysWife ::hugs:: I did almost the same thing the other day. WHY is it so damned easy to knock over those bottles?
Oh, because Murphy loves BFing moms.
Soooooooo.... H and I tried sex for the first time, since I got cleared yesterday.
All I can say, is "eff that". We tried, it hurt in a different way, but almost as much as when I lost my virginity, and I didn't even get off because MH was lazy about it. >_> I think I'll be waiting a couple more weeks. H can make do with his own hands for a bit.

When I use disposable I judge wetness by how dense their crotch feels when that gel stuff swells up from absorbing the pee
After hounding DH for tracking down those dumb miniature screwdrivers so I can replace the battery is Roberts bouncy chair (god forbid it won't vibrate or play hush little baby....)... I discover it needs C batteries!! Arrg!
@AriaAmante143 thanks! I will try those @WisconsinCheese12 we are using those blues one right now, and I am not a fan. I may just exchange them as needed.

Another question- since Ryker sleeps almost all the way through the night now, does he take many daytime naps?

Sucks when the person you're pissed at is the person you want to comfort you. She's cuddled on my chest, but when she sees my face, she gets mad.
Hope everyone feels better soon @Cmmo14
@mndynitetragdy that's how I feel getting dressed too. Now I want cookie dough.

How do you working mommas cope?
I'm 90% positive that mia is starting the teething process. It has to be to early. I'm not ready for this.

At least the milk didn't go to complete waste, right? My boobs feel like they are going to explode, but I really don't want to pump.
I suppose I can swing by Target today...
