This has been breaking my heart for the past few weeks, and i just needed to get it off my chest.. i'm not sure if any of you saw this, but it's just so sad, and i thought these babies could use extra prayers... i didn't want to make a full thread for this because it's so sad and with so many new moms i didn't want anyone to read it that might not want to...anyway...prayers to this family..and i will hug my babies and husband tonight just thinking how lucky i am!

Re: eyes, MH and I both have hazel (green-brown) eyes. LO's eyes went from dark blue to, now, plain blue.
It's quite possible they'll stay blue or hazel (blue-grey) as MH's dad has hazel (blue-grey) eyes so MH definitely has the blue gene, and I probably have the blue gene as my little sis has blue eyes, and there's some thought that hazel eyes are caused by a combo of the brown and blue alleles.
Anywho I'd love if they did stay blue or grey as that was the color of his namesake's eyes!

I don't watch daytime TV. Ever. Maybe that's a FFC? I freaking canNOT stand my H being home all the time because he has the TV on constantly. Drives me insane!! Besides the financial aspect, it's a huge reason that I'll be relieved when he finds a job and is gone every day.

Oh yeah eyes; DH has beautiful eyes hazel if I had to pin them down to a color (he also has the longest eye lashes I've ever seen I've always asked if I can put mascara on them to see how long they would get but it's always "no") I have blue eyes Fallyn's eyes are beautiful blue for now. She def has daddy's eyelashes too!
@lnvane00 I'm the same way! Someone posted a belly pic last week at 8 weeks with the caption, "Baby says hi!" I had to bite my tongue (fingers?) to stop myself from saying that it's just bloat.
I had an issue with my cousins wife who at 33 weeks, her ultrasound "proved" the baby is 6 pounds already which is "big enough" and she should hurry up and get out here to meet us. One of her friends was then commenting that she has to be born quickly so she can have a cuddle before she goes on vacation. I also had to bite my tongue to not tell her how awesome "cuddles" in the nicu with a premmie baby covered in wires and tubes are.
..... Smoke coming out of my ears.
Too many stupid people in this world

If I get anymore of those formula coupons I will gladly send them to someone. I have been throwing them away, I didn't think anyone else could use them because my name was on them.
So many of you are posting your lo's in their bumbo seats and i don't think my squishy is quite ready with her head control yet, who else has an 8 week old or older who isn't ready? Are we behind. Maybe I need to crank out more tummy time with her, we do it for about 10 min a couple times a day or until she gets upset.
I've been feeling this way, too. LO is seven weeks and I don't see her being ready for a bumbo seat anytime soon either.
Not on here but I think it saw her post or like something on the FB group.
How was the wedding yesterday?? Your hair looked great!
Thanks! It was good, I left after the first dance, was away from my baby for 8 hours and that was more than enough!!!! It was snowing so pics were fun in a strapless dress and flip flops
Hi Ladies! Thanks for the shout out :-) I feel so loved. I lurk every so often but fb is just MUCH easier for me. Hi to those not on fb!!!! Miss you all. Perhaps one day I'll come back full time :-)

They only one who's been in the bumbo at our house is DS1...he'll be 6 in three weeks. DS2 is 9 weeks and he doesn't have the neck control yet.

This is not okay. You need to switch to another provider. We're losing 3-1
I know what the score is - I get updates on my phone. I see that Subban is having another good night.
And I magically got it to work. I started chatting with a Comcast rep online and she was going through her standard "try this, dumb person" list. One of them was to unplug the coax cable from the wall & plug it back in again. Either that was all it took or she reset my signal before she said she would.
Whatever. I've got my hockey game now!
Glad you can watch! Maybe you'll bring them some luck.
Why am I so emotional today?? I can't seem to get my sh*t together! I've been crying about everything! First that mom who died of cancer leaving the twin girls... Then a random quote on Pinterest about kids... Now about a family wanting to buy the house on hgtv where ppl were breaking in and I'm scared for the family.... What?!?! Who am I and what's happening to me?? pull it together moe!! Come on!
Just realized it's been two weeks since my ILs saw the baby. They call my husband almost daily and complain about how they don't 'get' to see her. He tells them every single time that all they have to do is call me and I'll tell them a good time to come over. Never once have I even considered not letting them see her, even with all the BSCMIL drama. They would rather not see their granddaughter than talk to me, apparently. They live half a mile away in case anyone forgot.
Do I have to get her a Mother's Day gift? Do I have to be the bigger person? I feel like they're sacrificing a relationship with their granddaughter just so MIL can gripe about me, even though I haven't done a single thing to her. I haven't even really stood up for myself. I'm so sick of this BS.
/end rant
You could get her a one way ticket to Russia?
Seriously though. You don't owe her anything. She's playing games and I think you're doing a damn good job of ignoring her shenanigans.
@mevensen we use Bumgenius detergent. I'm so paranoid I'll ruin my diapers by choosing the wrong detergent. I've heard a lot of people have success with tide original powder.

@amholley1 - do you remember mambo number 5? That was my fave song for a long time. (Don't know if it was on NOW1) My sisters was mmmmbop.
Yes! It has my name in it (Erica)

It's good to know lo isn't behind with the neck control, I thought she was doing so well with it. Maybe all the bumbo using march babies are rock stars
Also.... Miss no naps has been awake since a little before 2, prior to that has about an hour nap. No naps since, not even cat naps!!!! Eat, stare, chat, smile, fuss, eat, reapeat.
This was Colton today and tonight. Our usual bedtime routine takes an hour tonight it took 3! Omg I thought he was never going to go to sleep!
@bjd316 I'm in the Cleveland area!! It's crazy to think when we have M14 bumpies from all over the world that a few of us are in the same little neck of the woods!! (( :
@CHPhotoMama I understand where you're coming from; you don't want to fight fire with fire. Would talking to him help? I'm pretty you've done that in the past though, right? I would explain how you feel and stress how important it is that you both support each other and have a plan of action before your inlaws arrive/while they are there. Your MIL acts like the victim and makes you look like the bad person and that isn't fair. You shouldn't have to feel stressed out in your own home either and I would explain that to DH, if you haven't already. She's so toxic and it makes me cringe. I would have a very hard time subjecting my child to her toxic garbage.
My hubby is a big fan. I am there for moral support. He's seen him I think this is the 34th time...... Maybe?
I'm like that too!! I'm the big fan btwn my hubby and me! I took a few years off but just saw him last summer and love it all over again so now we're hooked again!! Lol!!!
@CHPhotoMama The best thing we ever did was buy a house a whopping 30 minutes away from the ILs. Might as well be 4 hours for all the times they've bothered coming out here. It's blissful.

1) Thank for the recommendations. We use tide for clothes and I had heard people use that. I guess it doesn't pay for me to buy Rockin Green then.
2) @CHPhotoMama I'm sorry your MIL is still being a psycho hosebeast
3) NOW CDs ftw. @Laura8388 I think she did mean NSYNC. Way better than Backstreet Boys. I may or may not still have a Justin Timberlake poster on my closet door
