Any other LOs have insane Mommy radar? I know they can smell you and all, but dang. The girl knows I'm there long before she sees me. It's creepy.
She also has an obnoxious ability to need to eat at inopportune times. Oh, Mom sat down to eat? FEED ME! We're going somewhere? FEED ME! Mom just laid down in bed? FEEEEEEED MEEEEEEEEEE!

Yes!! We we're laughing about this yesterday. DH was holding Isla on the couch, and I was cleaning. She was following me with her eyes. She always watching me.
I just had a dream I was on a short list to get in to have a boob job, then I remembered I was bf'ing so I panicked about supply and had a huge urge to pump ALL THE MILK so my baby could still have breast milk to 1 year old. And also, my dad in my dream was Phil from Modern Family. Lol. So random!!! In fact, I don't even want a boob job! (Should I have saved that for UO Thursday?)
There's no one else I can share this with. So, lucky you guys lol, more tmi. Apparently I put wayy too much hemi cream up in there because I just thought I had to poop, but really it was the cream that needed out of me. I'm gonna have to get suppositories or something because I can never tell how much I've squeezed
Emma's eyes are still blue. They started out darker and have lightened up a bit. I think I've also heard that they can change up to a year, but usually settle around 9 mos. I have blue and my husband has green so I wonder what she'll end up with.
@disneyaddict1 I always heard of getting hot flashes after delivery and I never got them. I always got chills! I'm still dealing with being really cold. Especially at night. I sleep in pants, socks, tshirt and hoodie - sometimes with the hood pulled up. My H makes fun of me but I'm SO cold!

Eli's eyes were dark blue/grey when he was born. Now they are still pretty blue but in some light they have a hazel tint. Mine are blue blue and DH's are brown, but his dad has blue eyes so we have 50% chance of Eli's staying blue.
Married 11/23/11, TTC starting 10/12, BFP#1 11/30/12, Adoption of stepson finalized 03/19/13,Loss of our daughter at 20w4d due to incompetent cervix 03/27/13, BFP#2 06/28/13, DS2 born 3/1/14.
E's eyes started out super dark blue and have lightened up considerably. They're especially light right around the pupils. They'll stay blue since DH and I are both blue-eyed.
@Cmmo14 I'm sorry you're struggling. If it makes you feel any better, I feel the same way about myself. It's no fun.

Robert's eyes were super dark... Like black, when he was born. Now they've lightened up to brown. I'm half Korean and I always say the Asian gene is super strong. MIL still likes to interject with her confidence that his eyes are turning blue like his dad.... "Ooooh look, I can see blue in his eyes!" ... Ummm no, his eyes are definitely brown. Definitely. lol
@addisonsmom22 she was fine after some cuddles, which is my favorite thing, so I'm definitely not complaining.
Guise. I almost came on here at 3am to say I thought I was the first M14er with a BFP again.
It was a dream, and before I realized it I almost punched a wall because it made me mad. I'm so not getting KU again until like... 2018. 2016 at the absolute earliest. Heeeeell no.
Harper's eyes were almost black when she was born and now they are soul piercing blue.
@Cmmo14 I'm sorry you're having a hard time. I'm struggling with body image issues as well and nothing I do exercise or diet wise seems to work right now.
@PerkyErky
What's the weight listed for those things? My DD is 12 but only 65 lbs. she fits in DS1's high chair and stroller. I bet she could fit in the bumbo...she has a tiny bum and skinny legs.
The babies were both sleeping this morning when Audrey let out a huge fart and startled herself awake. During the startle she smacked Rhys in the face. He screamed for the next 30 minutes (so insulted!) while I tried to settle him, and she just hung out smiling in the crib. I guess she felt good!! She's such a little lady ">
@LoveatCowles most people do intros over there. Come on over, it's a cool place. I'm back on there even though I'm not thinking about trying again for a year.
Cycle/month - Not all cycles are 28 days or exactly a calendar month. So, if you have a cycle of 60 days, two months have passed but only one ovulation/period cycle. So you can be trying for a year but not have had 12 chances, if that makes sense.
@amdecker1016 do what's best for you, but I want to wait 2-3 years because:
1.) babies are exhausting and I don't need two at once 2.) I want to be able to experience all of Brooklyn's "firsts" without being distracted by caring for another baby. I don't want to feel like I missed out on her milestone years or cheated her out of being there. Once she's three and a little more independent, we're going to talk about #2
Hi all! For those of you struggling with body/weight/feel good stuff go find a Zumba class. Seriously, when I lost a bunch of weight before I became pregnant Zumba made me feel great about my body at any size. Grab a girlfriend and go dance your butt off! The first few classes the dances are a little fast but after a few you get it and you feel great while working out.

See these are on my wait until she's somewhat self-sufficient list. I've always said i don't want two in diapers.
I think its the hormones because i packed up the newborn/0-3 outifits and was like she's not a baby anymore...lets have another one now. I'm losing it!
@Anneplusone search for March Mom on FB. You'll see the user pic is the clover that people use in their siggies here. Add the group and @kirotea will approve it.

Not sure, but he's only 35lbs and just starting to wear 4T clothes. He's a little guy.

I'm totally struggling with my weight....I know I had twins but I didn't carry them full term, it's been 4 months, and I'm still pumping! When I got home from the hospital I weighed myself...I'm currently 15 pounds more than that...FML!!!!! Somethings gotta change! (I've ALWAYS struggled with my weight)
@Laura8388 - Lily's eyes were nearly black when she was born. It looked like a deep deep deep denim wash. Now, they're blue and sometimes tinge gray or green. (DH's eyes are blue, mine are green, there are no brown eyed genes on either side of the family)
Guys, I'm really seriously thinking about trying for #2 this year. I found myself looking at the TTC board. I have no business over there until we move and MH finds a job in our new city.
I'm already taking care of my deductible for this year, right? This is an okay idea. :-/
I went to the Babies on the Brain board. Haven't looked at TTC yet! But I will.

Come hang out on TTGP anyway! We're TTA at least until C's a year or so, but I'm still there all the time. It's a great board!
I don't think I would have Isla if it weren't for that board. I got all the good "tips" and got pregnant our first month.
I'm debating joining a gym. The one about 20 minutes from me is only 10$ a month and they have an offer that ends today the joining fee is only $29. I'm just nervous if I'll be able to get there enough with LO and don't want to end up not going and wasting the money each month. Decisions, decisions.
I joined a gym last year that costs $20 a month with a one year contract. I went for two months and then paid around $140 for the Insanity program and quit going to the gym. Still have my gym membership coming out every month and haven't been in a year. If you're worried about not going, I suggest an at-home workout. Especially with having a LO, it makes it hard to get to the gym, even harder if they dont have childcare. I hate the gym though. Should probably cancel that membership
If anyone is looking for a good workout DVD program, I highly suggest Turbo Fire. It's part of the Beachbody (P90X, Insanity) program. I like P90X, but I loved Turbo Fire! I'm not sure of the cost because I got it as a Groupon. But I would much rather work out at home than going to a gym. Driving to the gym takes time too, and these workouts are 15 minutes to an hour.
I don't mean to sound like a commercial, but they're fun and work.
I just have to admit... that it is SO HARD to not bring out the know it all pregnancy veteran in me when I see posts on Facebook. Like today a girl posted that she had an us and her baby is 8 lbs already.....well of course I pipe in and have to tell her that the doctors that guess the weight on ultrasounds are wrong most of the time and could be off by at least a pound and its a good chance she still has a 6 pounder in there.. but I said it nicely! last week I had to point out that your 'due date' is your 'guess date'. Its not the evication day for your baby and that your baby will come when they are good and ready to be born.... its so hard to bite my tongue!!! I just wish women would do the research when they get knocked up! I swear im gonna be a midwife in my next life....

@MeggsM I've been wanting to try Zumba! There's a class offered at our neighborhood clubhouse that's very affordable. Unfortunately, I can't try it until DH finds a job, but I'm excited to give it a shot when I'm able!

@lnvane00 I'm the same way! Someone posted a belly pic last week at 8 weeks with the caption, "Baby says hi!" I had to bite my tongue (fingers?) to stop myself from saying that it's just bloat.

Took about ten minutes of holding, shushing, and a pacifier to calm her down enough to go back to sleep.
That was not what I expected to wake up to just then. .____.
