I've decided the saying solids before one is just for fun is crapola. I mean, if it were just for fun why would it be squash and green beans? Wouldn't we just give them cake? Cake is way more fun.
I have been drinking and am now pumping alone in the dark and this my deep thought.

Also I am dying laughing at my husband right now. His roommate from college is in town and he brought his guitar. They are in the basement trying to jam like the good old days and they sound awful! Like terrible. And this just makes me think I was super high in the dorms when I thought they sounded ah-may-zing. But god bless them, they are cute trying to be young with their beers down there staying up after 10 pm!

thanks 34blondie and @gigglejiggle, and @bonniek10, I needed that. I felt so out of place there. None of them have kids (out of about 30 people), and they all looked amazing and flawless. I left before they all ventured to the bar. Pitty party of one right now, I need to get over myself.

@nachellebeck His little celebrity is growing every year that he does this! Lol. He's such a ham too. I honestly think a lot of the reason he loves doing it is all the attention he gets. I mean, who wouldn't love that?!!

Changing subjects... just wanted to drop this off for you guys. I thought it was hilarious. I enjoy sports and watching football particularly, but yes! All of the interviews sound the same! Blah blah blah... Lmao

3 nights in a row with only 1 motn nursing session! This is down from 2 (sometimes 3) just a week ago! There are still a couple snuggle wake ups, but they only last a couple minutes. This is progress!

I feel like this every time I meet up with my friends. I really miss taking over an hour getting ready and planning what I'm going to wear. Now I have to choose to either do make up or hair. Also I'm usually pumping in the car on the way which leaves me feeling like a hot mess. By the way you looked beautiful!

@tttwalters I know exactly how you feel. There is a girl at work who is my age, not married and doesn't have kids. She is beautiful and dresses amazing and always has a fresh manicure and a full face of makeup. She is who I would be if I hadn't made my choices. I'm happy with my life, but sometimes I yell at her in my head for rubbing my face in it

Yes!!! I just switched to 9 month sleepers and they are almost not long enough. But all the 9 month clothes are still big on him (all by carters).

Just tried out peanut butter with DD and she loved it. I need some more veggie suggestions. We do sweet potato, squash, peas, green beans, cauliflower, zucchini. Give me more veggies to try!

So after weeks and weeks of wanting to nap on me (even after sleep training) DH puts E in her crib for her morning nap and she fell asleep in 10 minutes and slept an hour! Then I just put her down in her crib for her second nap, and she didn't even cry when I walked out, played and talked to herself for 15 minutes, and fell asleep!!! I can't use enough exclamation points!!!!!! So random and bizarrely awesome!!!!

DH and LO both have the flu! DH chose not to get the flu shot this year which really makes me mad. The whole situation could've been prevented. DH is 3 days into the flu, LO only 1.5 days so I just picked up a Tamiflu RX. Let's hope the symptoms move along quickly and we don't have any more nights like last night. I can't survive on 3 hr sleep!

My mom is watching Ben for a few hours today and I decided to forego my planned mani/pedi to watch football instead. It's been about 2 months so I suppose they can wait a bit longer. I, too, used to be of those people who always had my hair and nails done. Whatev. I'll get there again someday.

@heellibrarian I give DD fruit to self feed all the time but she often bites off pieces that are too big and has a very hard time swallowing or gags. I feel like this is asking for trouble with raw pepper...
