Since we went to a cook-off today LO's afternoon nap was delayed(because he will only sleep at home) and he's still sleeping. I'm afraid to wake my teething gremlin up. This is why I revolve my life around his naps. Tonight's going to be a nightmare (
I'm going tomorrow @kdc2007. There's a grocery store around here (25 minutes the other way from TJ's) that has a bar in it that DH convinced me to go to instead. We had a couple of beer samples and did our main grocery shopping there while O napped in his car seat. I'll try and get there tomorrow. Did you all use yogurt sold at TJ's for the brownies or should I get that at a different store!
I LOVE that the whole board is on the cookie butter bandwagon. I made hubby stop by target to get graham crackers tonight for cookie butter dipping + wine later
There is a canadian version of cookie butter that I am tempted to try, maybe I will get some. has anyone tried the PC chocolate cookie spread?
I have not but am curious. PC tends to make good stuff so I say go for it. Even after all this talk the idea of cookie butter does not appeal to me. Just give the cookies. I type all this while eating Ben & Jerry's half baked straight from the tub.

I bought it... And I'm not a huge fan. The crunchy cookie in it is good, but the spread itself is too sweet and milk chocolatey for me. I think I'd prefer it as dark chocolate.
I am a ninja, evidence A: It's warmer than I expected, so I snuck into a sleeping E's nursery to turn on the a/c. It wouldn't turn on. I had to move the couch, reboot the machine from the AC adapter, and turn then turn it on -- and the thing isn't exactly quiet. E slept through it all!
AC? Right now I can not even fathom that. I am sitting here under blankets, with the heat blaring and looking at more snow falling down.
Snoring is the most annoying noise ever. And because my sister is here, the extra bed is taken. So here I am sleeping in the recliner in the living room before I killed my SO.
Not only have I already been up an hour and a half (it's only 6:30) but I just found out my great grandpa passed a few minutes ago. Looks like I'm up for the day. Grayson is still asleep and SO is still snoring. I'm supposed to work at 1 this afternoon. It's really going to be a long day.
Thank you everyone. Grayson decided to get up early with me so hopefully he doesn't have any melt downs today. We'll be heading to my hometown where my grandpa lived later this morning.
I'm so torn. I don't know if I should go into work today since I just started this job or if I should call in and let them know so I can be with family.

Maybe call in and tell them the situation but say that you will come in if they need you. Just tell the truth! You feel bad bc you just started yada yada. Theyll probably tell you not to come in.
One part of me feels bad because I just started but the other part of me is just like he because they haven't trained me on anything so I wouldn't be any help to them today. Thank you for the advice though! I'll be giving them a call shortly
Dear visitors who decided to stop by my house today,
LEAVE!
thank you
The person who has been up since 2:30 this morning and has a ton of laundry and cleaning to do. Oh and I need to pump, which I may just start doing in front of you.
I'm going in to work today. They don't know what's going on with my grandpa yet so I'm going to just get out of the house for a few hours. I'm only scheduled for 1-6 so it shouldn't be too bad and then I'll let them know what's going on when I get there tomorrow. Thank you everyone for your kind words. I love you all so much...in a creepy internet way lol
@colieann31, I just realized your great grandpa was a great, great grandpa to your LO! That is amazing!
It's so awesome! We have a 5 generation picture of all of us and it seriously melts my heart.
Also, I work for an amazing company. I went in to work and told the manager on duty what was going on and she couldn't believe I actually came in. She told me to go home and that it wouldn't count against me. My last job was not as awesome as this one is when it comes to stuff like this.
