@JessieAlbin‌ I dreamed about you last night! You went to college with me and a college friend who just had a baby. We were driving somewhere talking about A14 and how all those crazy girls do meth with their babies.

Sorry everyone else, I guess the drug poll infected my subconscious!

At least we would all be super skinny ;)

@irisheyez7 the Lorax was my favorite Dr Seuss book growing up.  I love that nursery!

Mine too! I loved the 70's short animation movie as well! Had great songs!

@diedremarie Thanks! I am more than pleased with how it turned out! It was a TON of work! Just have to order the fabric to sew valances and it is 100% complete!

I think it's sooo dumb that the news sends people out driving around in cars to film the bad weather around town. It's raining. I get it. I don't need to watch some asshole sit in a car and describe what they see.
Lol.  In LA they get so dramatic when it rains.  STORM WATCH!!!

This was my view on the way home today. There are casinos and mountains on that skyline I swear. It rained a little tonight, so I'm hopeful air quality improves for tomorrow. Today's air quality was "very unhealthy"image

What should I do? LO napped at daycare until 3:10 today (her third nap) normally I would give her a nap around 5.... I'm half tempted to skip the 4th nap and see how tonight goes.... Dare I try this out????

Did you try it out?  We end up skipping that nap most days that LO is in daycare.  He's usually slightly fussier than usual, but cheers up after his last bottle and still makes it to his normal bedtime.

All the knitting talk earlier has made me want to dig my knitting stuff out. I'm not really good but I've taught myself what I do know. Anyone have any tips or can link me something that breaks down how to read patterns?

I was too nervous to try, maybe this weekend when I don't have to work the next day! Luckily she was in bed by 8 and just up once at 1 and slept until 6:30.

Uh... My dogs used to be my whole LYFE but now I seriously can't wait until at least 2 of them die and we only have one. I know it sounds terrible. 3 is too many with a house and a baby and a messy husband. I always wondered how people could get rid of their dogs when they have kids, but now I totally understand. And if this one dog doesn't stop fucking pacing around the floors every single time I get kiddo to sleep I'm going to lose my mind. Like if one of my family members said hey I'll take this dog off your had a I'd be all, sounds good! Lol . I know it sounds terrible and they're still adjusting, but they are on my last nerve.

This should prob be a FFFC
Somedays I feel the same way about the 3 cats and dog. If I had known we would be getting pregnant, we would not have gotten the 3rd cat. ( we got him 6 weeks before the BFP) just too much to deal with. One pet is always being loud and obnoxious during nap time. Plus the mess. Ugh!!!

@thomas930 what level knitter would you describe your self as? And what do you want to make?

I'm on team hate the dogs. They always go nuts, either barking or loudly wrestling once I get the baby to sleep. They spend most of the day outside these days. The cats are nbd though.

    @RedDawnsRevenge I'd say beginner. I've made this blanket  https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/breezy-baby-blanket

I would love to learn how to use multiple types of yarns for things like this. This seems like something I could do but I wouldn't know how to transition to the different colors.

    Or even make some hats.

@Ooopsbaby14‌ oh my, that is absolutely heartbreaking. My heart goes out to that family.

@eireyes‌, car adapter changed my lyfe. Sometimes if both boys are tired and I need to pump I will take a drive so I can do all three at once. Pumping and driving is probably really dangerous, but once they fall asleep I can park the car and just leave it running.

@dani+california‌, I know it would suck but could you bring baby to any of the night's events? I'm really sorry :(( it's so hard to look forward to something and then get crushed.

Could you move everything to next weekend? Like change the reservations for everything? That sucks so hard.

Who is from Dallas? I'll be there in February and I want to whore myself out for meet ups!

@KatieGummow yeah, I have one of those and I love it! My problem is I don't have to bring my pump motor to work ever, so I don't even have that with me. I'm pretty sure we're required to just hang out at our evac zones in the garage until the drill is over, so sneaking away to pump in my car during then is most likely a big no-no.

I'm more concerned that it's going to happen mid-pump, and that will be a total PITA. I'm actually just picturing myself walking down 16 flights of stairs with a pump flange attached to my boob, and it's quite a funny visual I've got going through my head...
Bahahaha, you'd be the talk of the town, for sure!
