I just took J to the park and actually had some adult interaction with other moms. It was nice. I feel human again.

One mom was even talking about how she felt like she was losing herself and she was just so bored with life and was wanting to figure out the next step. It felt good hearing that just because now I know I'm not the only one and that I'm not a total bad person for feeling the same way.

Today was good.

Any RTT fashionistas?

I just signed up for a Fall mini photoshoot with the photographer that did Eli's newborn photos. The pictures will be of myself , DH and DS. It's outside at a park at the end of October so hopefully the trees will be yellow orange and/or red. I am clueless about what to wear. What are good colors for outdoor, autumn photos? I am thinking of wearing a casual-ish dress. But what kind of dress? Ahh. I have no style. Help!

My kid just shit out of his diaper -- onto him, my shorts and then onto the floor while checking out of Buy Buy baby. I carried him red faced, at arms length to the changing room while he laughed at me. Because poop everywhere while mom dies of embarrassment is hilarious.

I don't consider myself a fashionista but I would stick with neutrals so there isn't any clashing with the fall colors. my friend did her family pics last fall and her and her hubby wore black, can't remember what their LO wore though

Morning everyone! Thanks for the hugs. We had a great night (whew!), Jessica slept normally and seems to be back to her usual happy self!

DH just surprised me with room service!! Never had room service before! I'm getting a full breakfast in bed!

This had better not be because of the tenant below us. Manager said he went in there to fix the water and there was so much trash in there that he actually ran outside the apartment to puke before he was done. :-S

Yeah, still not worth it. My UO: I would prefer my child to be of normal intelligence than go through HG again and have a genius.... That's probably pretty bad since it's a lifetime vs a few months. But whatever, I prefer street smarts to schools smarts any day.

@redbird11 I would think navy or creams or grays would look nice.  Like, white or gray top with dark wash skinny jeans and then brown boots?  Never hurts to have a nice plaid blanket for LO to lie on for pictures too, if you wanted any like that.  Photographer may have something like that.

And hallelujah, successful boob to bed transition, for the win.

And crap, he just flung his arm out and hit a rattle.  Darn my luck.

@jodibolivar‌ that's so sad. How many foster kids have you had? Have you adopted any? I would like to eventually foster, but am worried I won't be able to handle it emotionally...

What should I do? LO napped at daycare until 3:10 today (her third nap) normally I would give her a nap around 5.... I'm half tempted to skip the 4th nap and see how tonight goes.... Dare I try this out????

So, my daughter made friends with a girl at her new school. She also happens to be in her cheer squad as well. She's a little ass hole! Avery is always telling me about the mean things she does to other kids, like today she threw a kids jacket into a fire ant hill and he had to go to the nurses office! I'm happy she has been making friends, but I think the reason this girl clings onto Avery is because all the other kids stay the hell away from her! I want her to make other friends because I'm afraid this kid will turn on her one day. It makes me so sad, I just want my daughter to get hurt and I don't know how to prevent it

Oh @Ashleypixie that is so hard.  It is great that your daughter has a friend, but it sounds like she picked the wrong one.  Well, maybe it will go the other way and your daughter will be a good influence on this little hellion.

DH starts his job tomorrow. I am excited. Yes I will be less stressed because we will have money coming in but also he will be out of my hair. I love him to death but between packing and moving and job hunting, he hasnt worked in a month. I need quiet time. A few hours with the tv off, no computers, no video games. And lots of baby snuggles.

DH is coming home! So I plan on going and getting myself a mani /pedi while he stays home with N. Next weekend we are packing up and heading to myrtle beach !

Working all day Saturday and visiting family in Montreal on Sunday. Nothing too exciting. Not looking forward to work, but gives my mom time to spend the day with LO
