The things I think of at 4am when I can't sleep...

For those who use sign language, is signing with an eating utensil (or anything, really) in your hands the equivalent of talking with your mouth full?

Uuugh, I've woken up like 4 or 5 times now because of acid reflux. I just tried drinking some water with baking soda in it. Yuck! It better help so I didn't do that for nothing. (:|

While I'm at the mental weirdness, how do young witches and wizards in the Harry Potter world get their basic elementary school-level education?  We don't hear about any magical schools beyond those that start when you turn 11, but you'd still need to know basic language, reading, writing and math skills, geography, and probably at least a highlights reel of Muggle history (I'm sure the wizarding world couldn't miss both World Wars, at the very least).  Are their parents responsible for teaching that, or are there magical schools for younger children?  If Ron's any indication, we can at least assume that kids born to magical families aren't sent to Muggle schools up until their 11th birthdays...

Ugh... Today sucks and it isn't even 6am yet.  Woke up with a massive charlie horse at 3am, and it still hasn't gone completely away. On top of that some jerk at work has managed to give me a bug that makes me wheeze occasionally when I breath and cough so hard it hurts.

Sometimes I'll read aloud from threads and DH will side eye with the best of 'em. I don't want to get ready for work today, but I have so much to get finished before baby arrives. @aviola329‌ thinking of you and bebe! I'm hesitant to make freezer meals.... Will I really not even have time to make things like a bowl of cereal or throw things in a crock pot?

OMG this pregsomnia is killing me! Even though I don't work, I can't seem to nap ever. And tonight, DH is sleeping next to me in a NyQuil induced state like a rock. I want to smother him. And steal his sleeping ability.

Just one night without waking up to bladder pressure or hip pain 3-5 times a night would be awesome. In the meantime, I suppose they created Buzzfeed for a reason...

Another suggestion is on your hip, but I've avoided that for having babies and how I might stretch out. Inside of the upper arm can be really cute and subtle!

All this talk about "doing" things to get labor started. STMs+, did any of you not do any of these things and just go in to labor? It seems like all the rage and its making me a bit anxious to think of more things I have to do right now!

We are going through this too. My dr said with each day they are older the number had to go up by more and more. I think the .75 wasn't a significant increase to worry about. Is he gaining weight?

With #1 the only thing I did was go for walks more often and had sex about every day to every other day....we actually got so bored with sex because it started to feel like a chore. I went into labor around 11 pm on my due date and had her the next day. 

I can't compare my second because I was induced for low fluids so I'm not sure when I would have gone into labor on my own. But I do remember I wasn't really doing anything to push myself into labor. 

With this one I will probably start going for walks again...sex is out of the question.

My mom always texts me things she means to text her boyfriend since she got an iPhone.. Things could get really weird and awkward if I don't teach her how to use her iPhone soon... :-S

Sex once a week is about all I can manage, on the trying to induce labor naturally front. I am fascinated with my boobs and how much they are preparing to feed this kid though, so nipple stimulation is in! Walks, too I suppose. Does grocery shopping count as "going for a walk?"

We got a lot of clothes at my shower.  A friend told me there is an app to scan the barcode and it'll tell you what store they came from.  Is this real?  What's the app?  I cannot bring my child to wear some of this stuff...

I think sex at this point would just be uncomfortable and painful and not at all exciting. If we did it now, it would be work. I'd rather just wait the 9 weeks and have hot kinky sex again.

I've been keeping up with the sex pretty well this pregnancy, but lately I just haven't been too into it and its much more for him. Until the other night, holy smokes we had great sex. We were also just like "lets start labor now!!!!!" But it didnt work...

Halfiversaries aren't really a thing, but fuck it: I pulled out our wedding cake anyway. It wouldn't be good another six months from now, right? Today also marked the day my fingers were almost too fat to get my wedding band off, so it's now staying off until after baby is born.

The amount of ivory buttercream I'll be ingesting tonight can only be offset by the triple berry mousse inside the cake. Because it has real berries, so that totally counts as a fruit serving. CAKE!!!!

I haven't read that post, but other than the induction with the first one, I have never done anything to try and get labor going. My last two I woke up on the morning I hit 36 weeks having contractions  and they were born less than 24 hours later.

May be UO, but sex is great my last few weeks of pregnancy... Just like my previous 2 pregnancies. My sex drive has hit overdrive, cramping afterwards does not last long and having my partner rub and massage my stomach helps.

Oh, this reminds me. Question for STM+...I keep reading that sex while bf is not so great for awhile because of the hormones causing you to be all dried up. Is it that much of a difference or will lube have to be needed? Ugh. I'm sure everyone is different but just wanting to hear experiences.

With my first I definitely needed lube pretty much every time, but with not second not as much, only used it occasionally. I would have some on hand just in case.

Definitely. My pedometer is wayyy higher when I grocery shop or go to target!
