Oy now she's backtracking that she was "joking" ... Yeah honey you only said that bc everyone called you out on your own bitchiness and that your comment was uncalled for.
I needed that flight of the concords gif....."its business- its business time...." Just need to vent to all of you fine ladies: I have been a master of my emotions for 90% of this pregnancy. I'm pretty good at keeping my hormones in check and knowing when I'm legitimately upset vs. hormonal upset. As of last night, uncontrollable tears over everything and nothing.......April needs to be here soon, please.

This is me too. But, instead of tears, I've got the rage! My normal ability to talk myself out of hormonal issues is quickly vanishing! I feel you there!
Yay! My new nursing bras and nursing tank came today! Also, I want to drink all the root beer. Maybe DH will make me a root beer float when he comes home, since I'm too lazy to go into the garage to get the ice cream
So I don't consider myself very materialistic, but after years of hand me down furniture, we finally bought a new sectional and recliner. With me being unemployed, it came at a crappy time, but our old sectional frame broke while I was out of town. And I saved 75% off--spent $200 LESS than our tax return, so it wasn't real money, right? And they are bonded leather so spit up and poop will wipe right off. Plus, my back might stop aching from sitting on broken furniture finally!
I'm just soooo ridiculously excited about this. I got a shamrock shake and chicken nuggets to celebrate. I'm so happy that the Snoogle is coming off the bed tonight--hope DH is ready for this!
I'm starving! I had lunch already and I know dinner will be ready when I get home... but I'm totally walking down the hall and getting a pizza from subway!

So I went in to see the on call doctor today because I was having sharp pains that were bad enough to put me in tears at my desk. And everything is fine, thank goodness, but I guess I can expect this to be my new normal for the next few weeks. Why the hell did I decide to try to work until I go into labor? Now would have been an awesome time to start maternity leave.
Hi girls! I had to skip posts because you broads were on fire today. The last time I read Calli and Aviola's LO's were asking for a time out. I hope those kiddos started behaving. Aside from that I'm gonna need all of you to line up so I can pass out hugs whether you need or want them
BRU will accept exchanges (not a return) without a gift receipt right? MIL got my travel system but it's the wrong pattern (I know how picky that sounds) and I just want to swap it out for the one I like better.
Mine does. They will even return it without a receipt. Just explain what happened.
I wonder how many "giant baby" posts we'll see over the next 2 months?
Too.Fucking.Many.
Every time they "guess" baby's size on the ultrasound, I just smile and nod. With my first, they said he would be well over 10lbs, he was 8. With my third, I had an ultrasound the day before he was born and they said at that point he was already over 9lbs...he was 8lbs 3oz.

Yea, it took me about 1 minute of reading your guy's posts to realize that their size guessing is just a guess.
Should I write something about my midwife saying today that my baby was average size??

To add, since when is 10 lbs considered "giant" ? They used to be, sure, but it's so common now.
I was ten pounds! My brother was 10lb10oz. My sisters who were three weeks early were around 8.5 lbs. we're all normal for the most part
I admit I posted about how I was terrified of having a big baby months ago though...I'm over it now. Body's gotta do what the body's gotta do. She's coming out one way or another, "giant" or not.
Why do my boobs look so good? Then I peed on a stick...
Blowdrying my hair is the biggest chore there is!!! Soooooo hot!!
Yessssss....fuck it. No more blowdrying, I don't have anymore fucks to give.
I watch Netflix on my laptop on closed captions. It's the only way I can dry my hair. I'm too bored and ADD to just blow dry my hair without doing something else more entertaining.

I think its more of a "please use the search function" issue for me :-) Because it seems so many are told their behbehs are BIIIIIG!

Angel baby June 2013, DD born 22 April 2014, BFP 10 Sept 2015 - Due 22 May 2016
I complained on FB about the stranger that touched my belly and insisted that I was having twins. I vented that women carry different and that was insulting. My moms friend wrote that I'm being judgemental and gaining too much weight is baaaad. I will not bitchy reply to her. I will not bitchy reply to her. Woossah
nah, totally bitchy reply, she deserves it!

OMG. Tongue biting on bitchy FB comments is SOOOOO hard.
I cannot lay off the carbs today. Cannot. Stopped at the store to pick up some milk and came out with 1/2 lb. of potato wedges from the deli. They were so delicious I wished I had bought more.

I need to get a random thought off my chest so I don't bitchy reply to someone.
I posted a while back about my sisters dog trying to pounce on my cat at Christmas then refusing to kennel the dog. As well as refusing to keep our dogs seperated and refusing to ever put her dog in the kennel so mine can can have a turn out.
DH and I do not want that dog near baby. But my sister has bipolar d/o and depression and is sensitive and really takes things personally so I wasn't sure how to word it.
Well I did it. I was as diplomatic as I could be. Said we will be asking friends and family not to bring their pets when visiting us because my dog has had several bad experiences including being bitten and needing a drain and stitches. I mentioned two other dogs and not her dog specifically even though her dog is always pinning my dog...because she'd get pissy if I said anything bad about her dog.
I threw my dog under the bus and said he's learnt to be on the offense from these encounters and I need to retrain him one on one and that requires my full attention and I can't do that with an infant.
She said yeah, he has changed.
No apology for her dog being part of the problem especially at Christmas. I have to kennel my dog when her dog is over because she thinks it's mean to have her dog in the kennel.
But I'm going to leave it. If it means she'll leave her dog at home and I don't have to worry about pulling her dog off mine again while learning to take care of my newborn.
I can't wait to see baby sleeping on my bf's chest. I think seeing him in daddy mode is gonna make me fall even more in love with him. I'm sure of it
I'm with you on this boat! He called himself "daddy" the other week and I melted. He's emotionally stunted (to put it nicely!) so I can't wait because I know this little girl will melt his heart.
@nicole Mackenzie: I remember reading your other post, that's so aggravating! I dont think id be able to hold my tongue, Good for you having self control!

I renew that post. I know not mentioning her dog was a great way to avoid drama but I think it's just another form of enabling her. If her dog isn't mentioned and your dog is the one being blamed she'll just carry on believing that's the case. But hey, at least you don't have to worry about your dog and baby's safety during her visit.
my SO is obsessed with diaper bags. OBSESSED. He's convinced we have to get THE PERFECT ONE. He's been shopping on Amazon & Buy Buy Baby all day. I haven't given the bag a thought, but apparently this is really his primary focus this week. It's marginally crazy but pretty adorable that he's so concerned about this.
Had a duh why didn't i think of that moment earlier when reading about breast pumps. Saw on another site to get a cheap sports bra (many have front closures) from tj maxx and just snip two small holes in it near the nips instead of buying the $30 hands free pumping bras.
I did this last time. I bought the super cheap thin kind from Walmart and wore them underneath my good nursibg bras. Worked like a charm. Never had to take them on/off. Saved a lot of time when I was out running errands.
